But she’s apparently unable to receive them, or to receive them on some specific level, that Pod can. No matter how much she tries. And it seems to be breaking her. Which reminds me of their earlier split— Pod received the same dreams that Sweetpea did, but thought they were harbingers of hope, not death. It might seem like an odd reason to stop talking to a loved one, but on the other hand, if you’re waking up from these nightmares crying, and begging for them to stop, I guess you might indeed not have much tolerance for being told you’re wrong to be fearful. And of course, who is the “he” whom Sweetpea is certain will “bring nothing but death”? Unlikely it’s Wander, which points to the possibility that it’s his friend the spider-thing. Mysteries abound.
