it just feels right to draw them this way now. In the past I'd often feel my characters looked older than I intended them and this just brings them more in line with how I think of em. Crane is one of the older kids on the block but not by a ton.

2024-07-17 02:51:00 +0000 UTCOne quibble that’s been bugging me— lately Crane’s proportions have changed significantly from how they started out—he’s shorter and more compact. (Even his head is more oval-shaped than the circle it originally was.) The first time he was shown that way, it was a flashback montage remembering Penny’s puppy days. But after that he started to appear that way in the present, which kept confusing me whether it was still flashbacks being shown. Was this a conscious design change?
