Behind the scenes bonus content with Degrassi's Colleen Lam!

• Photo One: Colleen let us know she kept her personal day planner from her Degrassi Days! On this day, she started filming the Degrassi High episode, "A New Start." While it aired in November of 1989, we can see from Colleen's planner that they started filming in May earlier that year! 🗓️




• Photo Two: Colleen's notebook shows that in October 1989 she began filming "All In A Good Cause," the episode where Caitlin and Claude protest a nearby factory. The episode came out three months later in January of 1990!




• Photo Three: Here's an example of fanmail that was written in to the Degrassi Fan Club at Playing With Time! Susin Neilson, who played the Janitor Louella Hawkins, primarily worked behind the scenes, wrote official Degrassi books  and responded to fan letters to the show! ✍️




• Photo Four: Colleen Lam & Lisa William's interview with the Degrassi Junior High "End of Term Report Card" in 1989. Susin Neilson would sign you up for this newsletter if you wrote in to the Degrassi fan club and said you loved the show! Not everyone wrote in to say nice things.. lol.

• Photo Five & Six: The Degrassi Kids Yearbook! We can thank Degrassi's Craig Driscoll (Rick Munro) for providing this to us! Here you can see where Colleen's personal pet peeve was being Degrassi's cheerleader!! 🤣




• Photo Seven: This never before seen photo is from Mr. Colby's audition! I blurred out his personal details, but it was really cool to see the original audition forms for Degrassi! I found this when rummaging through Degrassi's old archives. Colleen shared that her headshot was taken at a photo booth in the mall. Oh, the 80's!




• Photo Eight: Colleen Lam attends Linda Schuyler's book party for The Mother of All Degrassi in 2022. Here she's pictured with several former cast members and Director Phil Earnshaw! 📚




• Photo Nine: Colleen sits on stage with her former cast members at the Degrassi Tour's Q&A event hosted by Pat Mastroianni (Joey Jeremiah) in 2018.
