Why was Michael Jackson so odd?

He was innocent. He was also a little weird. I don't think all of the "weirdness" came from being ex-JW or his early start to fame as a singer. He probably was a little unusual from the beginning, and those experiences (good or bad) shaped him. Maybe he did want to experience a better childhood though others, but maybe he just likes kids. and likes seeing them have fun. It is a problem with society that assigns ulterior motives and has a knee-jerk reaction to something that is not there.
