Wait, this places all the pressure and responsibility on the victims. There are lots of reasons why children don't report CSA: - A child may not fully understand what's going on. - A child may keep quiet because they're afraid or may have been threatened. - A child may feel guilty because they were overpowered or scared and couldn't just "say NO and run away" as in the video. - A child may feel guilty because they may have found certain parts of the abuse physically pleasurable (bodies react) and feel it's their fault. - A child may feel conflicted because the person doing the abuse is someone Watchtower said they cannot disobey. The C&S video completely ignores what if Mommy, Daddy, or an Elder is causing the abuse. Rather than help, it might actually make things worse. That's why Elders need to stop playing judge & jury and report CSA so victims get access to a LCSW or licensed therapist.
