Soooo I actually had a pretty long comment, and then I realized that most of it was better suited for the discussion thread. So I'm going to leave my general short notes here. If anyone is interested in metaphorically seeing the vein in my forehead explode please join me in chat, because this episode managed to bring forth two of my most feral responses. 😂 _ Aww. Jinho's puppy eyes when he felt unhelpful. Sweet shadow army making sure to include him. 🥹 _ Super awesome that Jinwoo's dad has entered the fray. That will definitely add tension, I can't imagine what kind of drama a father that disappeared for 10 years then pops back into everyone's life is going to bring. 🍿 Love the reaction guys, I'm excited for the next few drops! 2025-01-31 21:08:57 +0000 UTCFor Jin-woo's dad, he was in for 10 years. The gate he went through back then was a regular gate, in which time goes the same with the outside world. Only red gates, have a time difference.

2025-01-31 19:44:56 +0000 UTCJinwoo taking Jin Ho as a little brother probably gives him some protection in the future but pulls him into Jinwoo's orbit of crazy things happening. Jinwoo mentioned that his level increase gave him more summoning power. And he does share XP with the minions, they all level up. Once the final boss is beaten there is a short time period to get back out of the gate before it closes, so somehow Jinwoo's dad didn't get out of the gate before it closed.

2025-01-31 16:07:49 +0000 UTCI could be wrong, but i think his dad going missing was mentioned, very briefly off hand in the first season, when talking about how he made money going in gates because he had to in order to pay for his mom's hospital bills and his sisters school.
