2024-12-19 00:27:07 +0000 UTCThe most I've ever seen anyone in Hellaverse acknowledge there being a God is in the original episode the cherubs appear. At the end of the episode one of them says 'Oh God!' and the other smacks him and tells him not to take the lord's name in vain. The closest I've seen Lucifer's say anything close to that is in episode 5 what he says, "Oh! What in the UNholy Hell is that!?!". So take that for what you want. 🤷♀️ Satan telling half truths and letting everybody purposely come to the wrong conclusion reminds me of my absolute favorite quote from Futurama: "You're a technically correct. The BEST kind of correct!"🤣 Awesome lore deep dive! These have been a lot of fun. 🩷💛🩵

So far the only thing to my knowledge pointing to his existence in the shows is through expressions like “Oh my God” made by humans and a couple of references to Christ made by Blitzø (I.e. “Christ on a stick!”). I’ve seen art of “God” in a Vivziepop style, but I have no idea if it’s like one of her early concepts like Roo aka the Root of All Evil or a piece of fan art that people have mistaken for cannon. That said, y’all should definitely dig into the lore videos. I’m 99.9% sure that Cartoon Universe has videos on the Hierarchy of Hell and the Ars Goetia.
