Clearly “evident” that Trump won?!? What about the total of absence of said evidence submitted in about sixty opportunities or lawsuits!! And how can fully grown ppl think that one stops keeping score before game has been played or votes in election have been counted?!?! Why did “they” try so hard to impeach Trump?!? Because he could not stop committing impeachable acts, unlawfully abusing his power. Understand why as person with NPD, Trump must fabricate reality wherein he emerges both victor and victim. But why pastors, just like why Republicans?? They should know better, but maybe it is shared delusion at this point. Any opinion regarding whether they know they are lying or are as deluded as former guy? And, yet again, churches and synagogues played major role in supporting, enabling Civil Rights Movement, marriage equality and the like, going back to the New Deal as well as the labor movement at turn of 20th century. MLK was a minister, for example, while Heschel was a rabbi. Value your content and perspective, but your historical awareness of the role of religion generally in social justice movements is limited. Fundamentalism did not arise, for the most part, until the late 1970s. And they (Protestants) did not get involved in politics, were pro-choice, until fundie leaders perceived potential for exploiting issue for partisan gain starting at that time. Bottom line, how can these churches still have tax exemption?!? And is there anything I can do about it? I concluded in March that we were heading (back?) to Christian theocracy after 25 CLE hours on SCOTUS decisions, specifically focusing on so-called “religious liberty” cases - all *before* ACB joined Court.
