Yesss the perception stat!! I've never seen a stat like that in anything. I really like all the possibilities it seems to have! Thanks for bringing me back to this on your journey! It's awesome!

Lol, the beginning scene of this episode! 'This sword is mine. There are many like it, but this one is mine... so stop trying bite it in half!' 😂 I'm with Chris, I find the perception rating to be VERY intriguing. Physical skills are one thing, but when you are already exceptionally aware leveling up that characteristic can prove to be very critical and helpful. We saw even in the first episode that he is incredibly self aware and aware of what people are say/doing around him. It's one of those things I feel like it's going to be sneaky with how much it improves his other skills by having it increase. What's most interesting is that his perception of himself has both increased and lowered. While he's fighting he's totally aware of what it takes to kill the beasts. Afterwards he slips back into thinking poorly of himself. Actually, the more I think of it that's pretty accurate to real life for people with low self-esteem. 😕 His stats compared to his performance is going to be interesting to watch going forward. I'm also curious as to what he's going to choose to do with his loot inventory. WILD episode, I can't wait to see how all this shakes out with you guys! 🩷🩵💛

Ah hell yeah! I haven't gotten into light novels much yet, but it's definitely something I want to try out! I need all the extra lore!

The Heck Podcast

You will love it. I highly recommend the light novels (whenever you have a moment) There's 10 books out now, and its on audible and it will explain things that the show and the manhwa will have to skip over.

He breaks his weapons so often, he needs to try to get a grenadier job/class for all that shrapnel!

That's good to know, thank you! I'm glad the show is doing a good job with following the manwa. So we get all the juicy lore. It's got a great pace so far!

The Heck Podcast

We definitely try to avoid spoilers as much as possible, but the sentiment is greatly appreciated. I love it when a show proves me wrong. I'm stoked for more episodes though! Thanks for being here!

The Heck Podcast

YESSS you know the tactics. Gotta funnel em through! Also for real he gotta quit breaking all his dang weapons right out the gate!

I don't know who said that the story is the midpoint of the manwa (south coreen manga). But that's not true, it starts at the same place as the manwa. The only thing that we don't see until later is the part with the ants in the beginning which is a flashback from the past and we get some info about that later in the manwa. But appart from that and some other character introductions, the anime follows pretty much the same pace and beginning as the manwa for now.

Idk how you feel about spoilers, but I could tell you if ur theory about the association is right or wrong and what Jinwoo does. I love your theories, but I cringe at the same time since I know the answers to your theories 😅 and I bite my tongue not to ruin it.

In the first few minutes of the dungeon, my dude breaks his dagger, and almost gets outmaneuvered by 3 goblins, then 1 lycan, then 2 lycans. It was cool, but letting himself get surrounded by 30 lycans and relying on his sword is crazy, lol. He might need to focus some Int points, I would have found some sort of bottleneck in the station to reduce their agility and numbers
