Mashed potatoes and gravy are a no go for me. When I was a kid we went to a kfc and ate in the restaurant, as soon as it had got down to my stomach it came right back up in chunks all over the counter and food I think😣 can't stand 'em since.

Lol it didn't help it was in some garlicky French style sauce that was a bright green color.

I'd expect it is a survival instinct. Your body telling you, "You know those red berries you picked and ate? Naw dawg, the jury of our internal biometrics have decided that those are poisonous berries. We're programming you to have adverse reactions"

Yeah I'm not so much the adventurous eater myself. I be knowing what I like and sticking to it usually. But gah escargot is a wild one too. Just never really thought, hmmm that snail looks good enough to eat.

Dang, fruit loops went for a loop. And shoot that is sucky about the Wendy's chili. I can't remember the last time I had it, but I do be loving homemade chili. But gah it's wild how much of an impression foods that make us sick can have on us ha.

I would be hesitant now to join this party around a camp fire, anytime the armor dude would look in my direction in my head I'd hear "Donner, party of six" No "Long Pig" on the menu thank you very much. I've never been an adventurous eater, got talked into trying an escargot once it reminded me of chewing on a pencil eraser while taking a test.

When I was 5-6 years old, I ate Fruit Loops at 5 am, and then went with my dad as he was hunting in the woods. All the walking after eating the Fruit Loops made me throw it up and has never been appetizing to me since. On a more recent note, about 3 or 4 years ago, I've found myself unable to eat Wendy's chili. Pretty violently sick after eating it one day(Which sucks, because we always loved Wendy's chili) and thought, "That's weird and unlucky". Then a few months later, I ate it again and got violently sick and managed to think it was suspicious, but maybe it was mental? It seems strange that Wendy's chili randomly starts making you sick. (I'm surprised that I even managed to remember what food I ate last time I got sick, to be honest) . BUT THEN, on Thanksgiving, one of the things that my mom made was nachos and had a little bit of chili on the side. So, I only had some nachos, mostly without chili, but did have a tiny bit with it. And that night? I threw up, but only a little. And then sometime within the next week or two, heard my mom say she used Wendy's chili for that, since she had so many other things to cook. I have had other chili since then and have been fine. All of those Wendy's chili came from the same store, so I don't know if it's ALL Wendy's or if the one near us needs a health inspection. But I think I'm done with Wendy's for the foreseeable future. I'm sure there have been other times a food has made me sick, but I've gotten to a point where there was a food that everyone else ate, but something about it gave me the heebie-jeebies, so I avoided it, and everyone else got sick
