I love Bobby so goddamn much, and Jim Beaver is such a big part of it. “Don’t try to con a con man.” Fuck. I love how this episode is basically a whodunnit where we sort of already know the answer, lol. “Sam” did a thing, we just don’t know the details. Plus we got something different out of Jared, particularly during the scene where Jo was tied against the pole. Great stuff. I like that season two so far has felt really different while still having those through lines from season one, such as Sam’s psychic stuff, the continuation of the story with The Demon™, and characters; Meg in particular with this episode, it def got a pop out of me. We haven’t heard from her since the end of season one. I like it. :) Steve Wandell, the victim, is a stunt performer for a bunch of Marvel shit, which at this point is probably enough of a trend that it’s not worth mentioning. But I decided this was a thing I was going to try to do. 😅 17!

2023-03-28 02:03:29 +0000 UTCI’ve been waiting for this one!! Jared does some great acting this episode. I love how we are kept guessing and confused the whole time. I think what the demon said to Dean really bothered him and that’s what the look he and Bobby share is about (or that’s how I interrupt it anyways!) This was definitely hard on both of them, but it’s interesting to see the lengths Dean will go to protect his brother. Even if it seems he’s doing the wrong thing, he can’t shoot him (queue “I got you brother”)
