Supernatural 2x9 "CROATOAN" UNCUT Reaction

stoked you are finally on the second half of season 2. Season 2 is ni my top 5 favorite seasnos after 4, 5 and yes season 7. I fell behind seaosn 8, honestly, but now playing catch up.

My guess is 15.

I didn't even seen "The Partner Track" actor on here. That's wild. The connections that are made...

The older brother plays one of the main characters on the Blacklist, Donald Ressler. Took me while to recognize him. Much younger and no suit.

Although this is not one of my favorite episodes, it is a good one. The reason why the virus disappears from everyone's blood is it was simply a test set up for Sam by the Demons. Once they were done with the test, they wanted to leave no trace of the virus.

Also yeah, that like, removed-frame slomo ain't it, lol

I'm also signing this petition! I've been hoping we haven't been too annoying with it, because like you said, if it's something he'd rather not do (on or off camera, even after the episode) then we obviously wouldn't berate him for it. But then the other part of me is like "it's part of the show's DNA 😶." At least for the finales, a little less so for the premieres. We'll see though. Not a legitimate deal breaker imo, but definitely a half-joking one, LOL.

I only recently learned some stuff about Roanoke; I hadn’t heard of it when I first watched this episode. Interesting to (officially? in this show’s universe) apply supernatural reasonings for unexplained real-world occurrences. These smaller-scale, mostly single-location stories are some of my favourite kinds, for any show/movie (provided they're done well). Like a murder mystery, or an escape room type thing. I love them. That being the cliffhanger for over a month must have sucked, lol. It’s a bit of a cliché, but I was still interested in what it was at the time. The wrap-up to this episode was a little confusing though. I’m not really sure why the sulphur disappeared from the other patients’ blood if Sam was going to be immune anyway, it’s a bit strange. The timing made it seem like the two events were connected. Maybe it was to imply the virus isn’t there anymore so people aren’t in danger from the blood samples? But hey, Sam’s immune I guess so 10/10. The younger Tanner brother (infected one) was on Arrow (big surprise, I’m sure we won’t notice that again eh), but also just recently was a lead in a Netflix show “Partner Track”, opposite Arden Cho, Kira! 💚 17!

Woot! That's 4 I've guessed I think. I've never gotten the jumpy slow mo for Croatoan. It's just weird man. I always think it's funny how fast everyone gets on board with killing infected people. It's not like they're zombies (people who've died), it's possible there could be a cure. But one doctor in one podunk town looked in a microscope for an hour, said it can't be done, so we go all murder crazy. It's just jarring. The Roadhouse is in central Nebraska according to my Supernatural map I have on my wall XD Imagine if Dean had just let Sam shoot himself right there. Would have gotten him out of 13 seasons XD Great reaction as always! Sending you happy thoughts <3 P.S. 10

Since we're heading towards the back half of the season and you're usually recording a bit ahead, I just wanted to quickly bring up one thing again: I do understand and mostly agree with not wanting to watch recaps for spoiler reasons, please consider though for the season finales to maybe watch the recaps afterwards, just like you're doing with reading the episode description afterwards. The reason a lot of us are so annoying about this is that the season finale recaps are all done with the same song, which became basically the anthem of the show and connecting the song with the show is part of the true Supernatural experience. If you really really don't want to do the watching afterwards either, at least go give the song a listen every time you're about to watch a season finale (doesn't matter if on your own or on the patreon version), so you start connecting these as well. The song is 'carry on wayward son' by kansas. Still hope you have a great day. Bex

(03:06) "don't go to oregon" - that actually is a good suggestion. Dean: "I'm tired, Sam. I'm tired of this job. - "damn it's been two seasons, you've got 13 more" XD That was exactly my reaction too, when I watched this episode. Love that scene though. Mean cliffhanger for this being the mid-season finale before the winter break. Have a great day. Bex PS: I still gotta go with the 12.
