ahh okay, I had to question myself recently if they ever solved Lee's killing. Reading this made more sense!

I guess the word looks unique enough that it sticks out in the corner of my eye, and I’m admittedly over-sensitive when it comes to “spoilers”, it’s my own fault really. Gotta get better at not glancing at words when I see them if I know I don’t wanna. That’s super cool, I love how Lee is the sort of springboard for each season’s reintroduction. Like a lens we look through to reframe our current trajectory each time. Hell yeah. 🤙

2022-12-27 03:43:47 +0000 UTCI am a bit “happy” after much Christmas cheer, so please forgive if I stray beyond friendly sarcasm. I never glance at any commentary before watching a reaction, so I don’t understand why doppelgänger in comments would need to be hidden before viewing. Yes, Lee, Mr. “SaidOutBitch”, has appeared in every first episode since the second season, and is actually a key player in Lucifer’s redemption arc, so noting him is great. He has his own arc to complete.

Also has Lee been in the opener of every season since 2? I can’t exactly remember when his appearances have been.

Like how it was made patently obvious who the killer was - Gill the guy who got hit by 3 cars.... And the doppelganger!?! WTF? Celia said it best "the game is afoot"...

Gill who shot Lee was hired to do it and then Lee's sister asked the gunmen (Lee's crew) in her house if they killed Lee and he said 'He gave us no choice' which I took to mean they hired Gill to kill him so they could get into the safe to get the money he owed them and thinking that Chloe and the sister had the money, he demanded they hand it over..and then Chloe shot him! I really liked the juxtaposition of Lucifer in Hell solving the crime and Chloe on earth doing the same and the clever transitions between Doug and the poker game in the hell loop and in his club on earth. I thought it was a good introduction to season 5 after everyone was so lost and hurting in season 4 it was interesting to see how they were trying to deal with their issues and none successfully yet but that seemed true to life as there are many more episodes for them to figure it all out. The ending was intriguing...who is this guy who looks like Lucifer and why is he there- as Sherlock Holmes would say 'The game is afoot!'
