Monthly Over-View May to June 2025

Swindle: It’s been a while since the last monthly update! We wanted to wait until we were in a more stable period with substantial updates since March to May were rather hectic for our personal lives: Sadly due to the usual summer shenanigans some people have had to leave, had declined, or downgraded so we are going into June with a current pledge of  $2,357 , making us almost exactly one thousand away our next goal of $3,300. 

Knowingest: Teen Titans was one of my favorite shows growing up, and it still holds up. I hope that our homage to the series has been enjoyable to at least some of our audience. Personally, I’ve learned a lot from drawing this comic, and I hope to carry the lessons that working on Primal Urges has taught me into making future comics that much better. Thank you all for your support!

Business Time: If my timing is right then with us completing Page 23 of Primal urges, we are now 12 pages away from the end of Titans Primal urges, after which we will do one cycle for commissions and IMMEDIATELY start work on Steven Universe Fervor Chapter 3. I know it has been a long time coming and has taken longer than I, Swindle, initially promised and I TRULY apologize. I know a lot of you are waiting in the wings for more Steven Universe Fervor, and it’s my responsibility that we haven’t gotten to that yet, as I’d been holding onto this Teen Titans comic idea for several years at this point and I wanted to be able to share it with y’all and potentially grow our audience but it’s become clear that a fair amount of you aren’t really vibing with it, we will do better next time especially if you want more story. 

So while we will finish it for the sake of not leaving another comic on a cliffhanger and because of how close we are to the ending. I want to reiterate that as soon as we finish Primal Urges we will jump straight into working on Steven Universe: Fervor Chapter 3. And then deciding where to go from there after we finish, maybe keep going, maybe something different, we want to please you, the audience, while also sliding in some of our own personal ideas or projects in between pages without it taking our focus away.

Therefore to help us get closer towards these end-goals, we won’t be doing our usual Ask The Stars during June and potentially July so that way we can dedicate the majority of our time to finishing the comic and bring you what you’ve been waiting for so long. But the upside is the upcoming pages lack a focus on threesome action which is probably the most complicated content to draw so pages should be getting published sooner as we got Page 23 done in under a week.

HOWEVER: we will still be doing the Monthly Character Polls, and since June is my Birth Month, this month’s theme will be “Swindle’s Selects!” with some wacky choice of waifus AND in place of Ask The Stars will be an Ask The Kings QnA where you can ask us any kind of question you want and we will happily answer them! Your pledge benefits will NOT go neglected!

The main reason we’ve been able to stay so stable in output is due to both consistent and new support from high and low tier patrons. However it’s possible for us to drop below the $2,200 threshold in the coming months as there are always financial difficulties, especially in the summer season but i mean it when i say every tier helps us achieve our goals.

and the more lower tier patrons we get, the less dependent we will be on the higher tiers to pay rent and keep the lights on. Having less commissions to do, but more financial support mean we’ll have more time to deliver to you the high quality comics you desire and deserve!

So to any free, former or current patrons that might be reading this, i just want to remind you that in order for the two of us to be able to focus on original comic ideas, we need any and all prospective patrons to join any tier they find affordable so that they can stay at CONSISTENTLY, which will mean more original comics for all of you!

A mere 5 Dollars can get you early access to art and  WIPs, and 10 Dollars gets you voting power in the polls we have every single month AND gives you the chance to get your own art made in Ask The Stars! it would go SO far in supporting us and making sure we can more consistently focus on the comics we know you love while giving us something on the side to let us breathe. So PLEASE consider pledging whatever you feel most comfortable with, even if simply to help us grow, I implore each and every one of you to stick with us or recommend us to people you think will enjoy us, or even upgrade yourself if you so wish and I promise you won't be disappointed by what we have in store!

$2200 (REACHED As of 4/30/24): Will be able to release Written Stories of our future comics or ideas As well as create a monthly character poll where voters can choose a themed picture for the month.

$3300: Will be able to hire sketch artists to help production of comics along.

$4500+ : Will be able to consistently hire sketch/line artists to help make multiple comics and if we reach this goal, we can consider future goals for expanding into other media such as comic dubs with voice acting!
