when you said, "He's an impressionable young man" and reminded us of Pike, like it makes so much SENSE, he just roles with whoever and whatever peer pressure is at it. if he had been in Jon Snow's position, damn, that woulda made for shorter storylines

Your reactions were spot on. Bellamy being my favorite, I was sitting there like: this is really happening, huh?? he is actually doing that to him (he being the showrunner)

I honestly feel for Bellamy during this episode because he gets blasted into the anomaly onto Etherea and is stuck with this one disciple who tries to kill him but Bellamy saves him because he doesn't want to fight, he just wants to get back to his family and the people he loves and cares about so he works together with this disciple who is preaching the way of the shepard the whole way and becomes 2 months they are stuck there, Bellamy is probably losing hope at this point that anyone is coming for him so he decides to pray this one time and he sees Cadogan and then he sees his mother who guides him towards the light and then storm breaks, giving him a sign to continue on and give him the strength to carry on when he had none and that made him believe which I understand why he has chosen to believe in this faith because this faith basically kept him alive and kept him going through the shit that happened on Etherea.
i know it is sudden and quick but Bellamy telling Cadogan that Clarke didn't have the flame in her head isn't much of a betryal but more him trying to delaying the enevatible because once Cadogan eventually finds out that Clarke does not have the flame in her head like she's getting him to believe, She and everyone there would have been killed anyway so that being told to Cadogan is going to keep Clarke and Co alive and not immediately killed.
Also I know it's acting but I find it funny seeing Bellamy trying to climb up that first cliff and failing when his actor Bob Morley knows how to Rock Climb in real life and is excellent at it. it just makes me laugh everytime I see that scene.

This was my least favorite episode for the whole show. I skip it when I rewatch. You thought the OG grounder episode was boring? That is how I feel about this one.
