Script Snippet: [Reanimation Scheme] Temptation to Peek
Added 2024-04-01 06:39:55 +0000 UTCHey everyone!
Here's the script snippet preview for this month. A small change of pace — here is a small excerpt from Sebastien's route!
As usual, this may or may not be changed in the full version of the game after I do editing / rewriting, or hell, it might get scrapped altogether. But for now, I hope you enjoy this small snippet anyway!
Thank you so much for supporting the Patreon!

Raenelle: Ughh...
I let out a groan, rolling over in my bed, as consciousness slowly begins to invade my mind. But before I can determine what pulled me out of my sleep so prematurely, I become acutely aware of the splitting headache that only grows by the second.
Raenelle: Zianna help me, not this again...
I hiss in pain, rubbing my temples in vain to ease the vice-like grip around my forehead.
Sebastien: Raenelle? What's going on?
I lift my head to see Sebastien's green eyes glowing in the dark from where he's curled up comfortably in his own bed.
I cough, allowing my arms to fall back to my sides. Then, holding back a grimace, I force a reassuring smile at him.
Raenelle: Nothing. I'm fine.
He cocks his head at me, disbelief radiating from him in waves. Thankfully, he decides not to push and drops his chin back onto his paws with a loud yawn.
Sebastien: It's still early. Go back to sleep.
Raenelle: Yeah, I know. Good night, Sebastien.
He closes his eyes in satisfaction, but it doesn't take long before they fly open once more, fixating me with a glare.
Sebastien: By the Twelve, Raenelle, are you sure you're all right? You're tossing and turning like you've just discovered you got cheated out of all your life savings.
Despite not feeling in the mood for amusement at all, I can't help but snort — and then immediately regret it when it sends a fresh wave of pain coursing through my head.
I must have failed to school my expression in time, because Sebastien's green eyes narrow as he rises to his feet.
Sebastien: ...You're definitely not all right. Do you think I'm blind or stupid?
Sebastien: Close your eyes and turn around for a minute.
Raenelle: What? Wait, what are you —
The only answer I receive is a burst of light emanating from the feline figure, forcing my eyes to slam shut reactively.
The next thing I hear is the rustling sound of fabric. It quickly hits me that Sebastien must be pulling his clothes on in his human form, and I immediately forgo all intentions of re-opening my eyes.
Raenelle: ...Really? You're just going to get dressed right here? Are you not afraid that I'd peek?
I keep my voice light and joking, praying that it's too dark for him to notice the hot flush in my cheeks.
