Bonus Doodle & Drabble: [Emberfate] Celebrations

In the spirit of the final release, we have a celebratory doodle with all three love interests and their beloved pets!! And here's a small accompanying drabble of a (probably not realistic / non-canon) guild celebration event to fit the theme! Please use your suspension of disbelief while reading it LOL. I hope you enjoy this regardless :)

"Home sweet home," you sigh to yourself in tiredness as you push open the door to the house you share with your partner. For a moment, you squint into the darkness, sensing something strangely off — but the door had been properly locked just now, and so far, everything seems to be the way you left it this morning.

You reach for the light switch on the wall with slight trepidation, ready to bolt at a moment's notice — and the moment the room is basked in light, you're almost deafened by the sound of many familiar voices shouting: "Happy birthday!"

Jumping almost a foot into the air, you blink to see many of your guildmates emerge from around the corner, each wearing a wide grin on their faces. As you stare in shock, Chris unleashes a party popper towards the ceiling, a shower of confetti raining down around you with a loud pop, evoking a round of cheers and applause from the rest of the group. 

"Wha — what? Why are you all here? Wait, did you plan this and let them in while I was out?" Still baffled, you turn towards your partner, who grins at you without shame. 

"Surprise! Happy birthday to the best guild leader in Emberfate!" Ruby darts forward to pull you into a quick hug. Behind her, Khanyisa's husky, Willow, gives an echoing howl in agreement, making Aedriss laugh with an aww.

"Wow. I-I'm speechless. Thank you for coming all the way out here for my birthday — you really didn't have to!" You sweep your gaze around the room, taking in all the cheerful, friendly faces who have accompanied you through many adventures and memorable moments in the world of Emberfate. 

"Hehe, don't worry, we wanted to! What better occasion to finally have our guild meetup than the birthday of our guild leader?" Lamp beams at you, pausing to give the cat perched on Nathan's shoulder a quick pet and earning himself a hiss in return.

"Yeah, exactly! Now who has the cake? Come on, bring it out! I'm starving!" Jim's dramatic call is answered by Cat from the kitchen, who slowly makes her way out holding a cake in the shape of the guild emblem carefully in her hand.

As you're dragged to the dining table with everyone crowding around and staring at you expectantly, you blink back the tears in your eyes and return their grin with one of your own. "Thank you for making this the best birthday ever. You're the best guild anyone could ever ask for!"
