Patreon Re-Launch

Hello! 

Welcome to the re-launch of the Wind Chimes Games Patreon! 

Previous Hiatus

The purpose of this post is to give a brief description of the situation leading up to this re-launch for full transparency. Back when this Patreon was first active, I was the only person managing the studio and the rewards for this Patreon, many of which were monthly or bi-weekly reward posts. At the time, I was still in law school and struggling to juggle school, life, Reanimation Scheme work, and Patreon content. I fell behind in the monthly rewards for quite a bit. 

As a result, I put the Patreon on hiatus — billing cycles were paused indefinitely, and no patrons were charged further until all the owed rewards have been delivered. Patrons were offered the option to receive refunds for the previous months, but they all chose not to ask for refunds and would wait for the delayed reward posts instead.

Re-Launch

After these few months of work, all outstanding rewards have now been cleared and sent to previous Patrons. Moreover, I've made changes to my circumstances and how Patreon content will be handled from now on:

- I have now graduated and have much more time on my hands to work on Reanimation Scheme and Patreon content. 

- I have redone all the reward tiers so that the monthly rewards will be easier for me to handle. 

- I have been and will continue hiring assistant writers / artists to take care of some of the monthly Patreon content for me, so there will be less work for me to do and I can still focus on Reanimation Scheme development. 

I'm confident that I'll be able to deliver Patreon rewards on time, and the previous situation will not happen again. Therefore, I've decided to re-launch the Patreon again. 

New Rewards and Tiers

You can refer to the description of each reward tier for what rewards are offered in each tier. Here is also a quick infographic of an overview of the 5 tiers: 

Currently, the rewards are focused on Reanimation Scheme, as this is the project actively under development. In the future, when more games are announced and being developed, I will adjust / add rewards to include content for the new games as well.

Archive of Previous Posts?

As most previous rewards are no longer relevant (due to the complete overhaul of rewards offered in the re-launch), I've deleted all previous reward posts. Previous Patrons have received a message from me on Discord with a link to the Google Drive folder containing an archive of all previous posts. 

As the previous patrons have kindly voted in favor of allowing new patrons to enjoy the previously written Patreon-exclusive short stories (which is the only reward posts that carried over for the re-launch reward tiers), I will be posting the archive of 19 short stories from before the Patreon hiatus for any new Patrons of the $15 tier and above. 

Conclusion

I am extremely apologetic to previous patrons for the delays in delivery of rewards. I am now hiring other writers / artists to work on the monthly Patreon content so that delays won't happen again.
