The Originals 1x3 "TANGLED UP IN BLUE" UNCUT Reaction

I love this episode, we really see I think the different atmosphere of TVD and in positive according to me, here the idea of ​​the protagonists is not to try to have a normal life and live with the love of their life, TO is more about living with supernatural communities and with that concept in mind, it's always entertaining to watch, plots and power struggles. It also has a more adult and intriguing atmosphere, the events don't revolve around a villain that they have to fight to live happily but rather a constant power struggle to dominate and control an entire city. It's exciting. Also, I love the chemistry between Klaus and Camille, just in the gaze that lingers between them, you can feel the tension and the attraction. I love Caroline, but even though she was Klaus' first love interest, it doesn't make her the best. Caroline judges a lot, it's in her nature so we know it, but I like Camille with her different approach which is not in the judgment of 'oh, you did this and that, so no', it is more in understanding, I also think it's done on purpose especially with her degree in psychology, she speaks frankly and tries to understand, because you cannot help or influence anyone if you do not understand them.

It was mentioned at some point in season 4 that sire bonds are super rare in general, but when you do see it happen its usually when someone is turned by a vampire that they had strong romantic feelings for. For hybrids it's different though, but only when they're making another hybrid. That's why Tyler was sired to Klaus and Marcel wasn't

except for hybrids i think sire bonds are only achieved when there was romantic feelings before the human turned but i could be wrong, marcel calls klaus his sire because he sees his as a parental figure almost also witches cannot be compelled. and also also the witches in new orleans can only do magic there, their magic is different from traditional magic

This was a fantastic episode and I must say Camille and Rebekah looked absolutely sublime in this episode tonight at the Soirée. I must say I do love how powerful the witches are in this city, Davina is evidently very powerful and even Katie and Sophie have considerable power. I guess it’s because they have a coven and ancestors which is a form of witchcraft which we have never seen in Tvd. I personally am not a fan of Marcel so far he’s suppressing and mercilessly slaughtering witches and wolves, forcing what other vampires can and can’t do. I don’t know he’s some sort of dictator and I’m not a fan however the garden idea and practice for traitors. The witches can’t go outside of New Orleans and practice magic because they use ancestral magic meaning the need to be in New Orleans where there ancestors are concentrated in order to access their magic. Also you messaged about compelling Katie, I don’t think witches and wolves can be compelled or maybe I’m wrong. Do correct me in the comments if I’m wrong :)

Well I felt that way at first too, but then I rewatched it and it wasn’t that bad. People just expect to see the same show as tvd or to and denied to understand that it has his own atmosphere and storyline. And I believe JerBear should watch it and decide to himself if he likes it or not
