They all genuinely believe that no matter what horrible things they do they are entitled to be forgiven and given unlimited chances, yet when it comes to Damon they ignore all the good things he has done and how he has changed and only hone in on the bad things and their knowledge that he can never change.

They could've done the werewolves so bad on the show but I think they did the storyline well and it might've not worked as well with different actors so props to Trevino. I might check out this Veroushka's reactions! I always think its cool to see a reactor like a character you dislike or they hate a character you like, its always interesting to see others points of view and how they see character's and things.

2021-07-16 23:48:51 +0000 UTCI think I want to add to the Michael Trevino party here. I have to admit when I realized in season 1 that there were going to be werewolves I was WORRIED. Not cause of characters or plot but because werewolves can turn into one hell of a cheese fest on a show. I mean if done wrong they are so ridiculous looking and just ugh. However in all the myriad of portrayals of werewolves there are to choose from turning in this show is by far my favorite and that had a whole lot to do with Trevino's acting. Dude that played Mason was good too. I hated Tyler almost as much as Jerbear did before I watched Veroushka's reactions. I started to see him differently cause she loved him but I have never really liked Tyler and frankly he's NEVER been good enough for my Caroline.

2021-07-16 17:51:36 +0000 UTCWe can atleast appreciate the actor Michael Trevino who played Tyler he did give a lot to the show- the previous seasons. He acted so freaking well with his werewolf transitions every freaking time-his first hybrid transition was fantastic. He’s an amazing actor and well he looks good too. And no matter what he was a big part of TVD and there are many ppl who loved/ liked his character. Me personally I liked him in seasons 2/3 and 4 - all the seasons he was with Caroline then he kind of didn’t matter as he wasn’t involved as much in the storyline and also kinda became annoying in seasons 5 and 6 - somewhat. But yeah he atleast deserves a good send off. For me personally seeing Matt breaking down when he sees Tyler dead really gets to me that’s heartbreaking 💔

I hope Jeramy sees your comment because he did ask to see how he was good ik he said it in a way he thought that he was bad but way better than matt who has changed but only in actions really

He loved Caroline, he initially decided to break his sirebond with Klaus because of her, he broke his bones thousands of times for her, but he is a wolf, and he did not have thousands of years like Klaus, for example, to calmly and coolly treat revenge, he constantly returned to Care because he loved her, gave her his house to protect her, wanted to kill Klaus before he found out that Caroline was from his bloodline, knowing that he would die himself, just because he wanted to protect her from him again (which is in fact more than adequate), but Klaus killed his mother, his only family, and not by chance, but on purpose, to spite Tyler, and this does not mean that he did not love Caroline, he just could not cope with his all-consuming hatred, which is natural, since he was not even 20 years old, plus problems with anger. Caroline said in this episode that they did not speak for several months, which only confirms that they communicated during these three years off-screen. They all did not just go to school together, but had known each other since childhood. My classmate died a few days ago, we were never very close and did not communicate for the last 3 years, but we were on good terms, and I'm really very sad, because she was very young and did not deserve it. What can we say about Caroline, Bonnie, Elena, Matt, Stefan and Alaric, who were somehow close to Tyler. Don't forget that just because you don't like him doesn't mean they didn't like him. He had problems, but he really did a lot to improve, and helped his friends in every possible way. Tyler lost his father, uncle, and mother at an early age. He was left alone. He had lost Caroline, yes, through his stupidity, but he loved her. He lost Liv, whom he also loved. Maybe he deserved to die, but not like this, and at least he deserved a decent funeral from his friends. (you just said in your reaction to explain why he was good, so there it is). Also if you will hate a certain character in the Originals and you will also be so excited when that character dies, then I will be enjoying your reaction to the originals much much more. (sorry for mistakes, English isn’t my native language) ;)

If they switched places and this was matts funeral I would’ve loved if they had damon kill him the just put his head on a spike then put it at the border and throw the rest off a bridge i dont even know if he deserves that much like at least tyler helped with klaus all matt did was say “ we gotta do something” tyler actually got all his hybrids away and matt kicked out stefan and caroline from their home
