Matt putting the blame on Stefan is a shitty thing to do Stefan had every right to pay his respects Matt shouldn't have been so trigger happy. Then he asked for Stefan's help to save her and he tried and when he couldn't he took that pain and trauma away from him for his own good. The only thing Stefan is guilty of is thinking caroline would so easily forgive him.

Also agreeing that Penny’s death was nobody’s fault but Matt Donavon. They were on their killing spree and he shot without knowing who he was shooting at… any cop should know better than that….only one that deserves that guilt is him. Definitely not Stefan’s. He was basically just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

2021-07-07 01:23:36 +0000 UTCYeah I have to disagree about Penny dying not happening unless Stefan was there. The fact is Matt and Penny had been hunting vampires together. If it didn't happen when Stefan was there it was just as likely to occur no matter who the vampire was. Don't shoot at a target you can't see and avoiding crossfire is probably taught on the first day of police training.
