That scene towards the end where Stefan is saying that his misery is Damon's fault and how Stefan's instinct is to help everyone and Damon's is to always be selfish and never cares to help anyone else, even his own brother, would have been more believable back in season 1, before we have seen Damon time and time again sacrificing himself for others, especially his brother, and time and time again, Stefan verbally beating his brother down to Damon and to others, choosing others over Damon repeatedly and allowing everyone to believe the lie that Stefan is and always has been perfect and righteous while Damon is and always has been a selfish monster.

That phone conversation was beautiful I agree the episode ending on that would have been better. Paul is back again playing a serial killer he loves and enjoys such roles I’m really excited for the next one specially to see Paul’s acting.

2021-07-03 08:38:37 +0000 UTCI think with they siphon the vampirism, it would happen the same thing that happened to Caroline when she was pregnant. The babies were siphoning her and she started to desiccate, so probably the same thing would happen to other vampires.

So theoretically if a vampire was turned from a treatable death wound and you had them in a hospital you could use a siphoner to unravel the vampirism and then save their lives.
