The thing about Kai’s siphon power is that while siphoned magic drains away from him, whoever he took it from doesn’t necessarily get it back. Think of it like how a vampire drinks blood from a human and they let them live, the human eventually gets their blood back in a few days and they’re fine. But, if a vampire drains the human of their blood, they die (duh). Now, if Kai drained all the magic out of someone like a witch or a vampire, then they would die because the magic is part of them. The thing about draining magic from a spell (and other inanimate objects and other that contain magic) is that it isn’t a living thing, you take all the magic from it and it has no way to replenish. Kind of like a vampire draining a blood bag, they drink it all but it doesn’t just fill itself back up like a human would. Hoped this helped :)

Kai is 🔥 I will say this again he will make for an incredible Joker 🤡
