"Man's built like a lightbulb." Dude that was so funny! Stefan is so bad at lying. Meaning the actor is so good at being bad at lying. HAHA! Damon's actor's facial expressions this episode are on POINT! "...I'll sever your hand, pull your ring off, and I'll kill you too." Why is this funny to me? "It's about the simple intimacy of the near-touch." Bitch, did you just hear what you just said?!?! Tina Fell what about Tina Stand? Dude your jokes are hilarious. OK, Caroline just won a bunch of points from me. She better not betray me. YAS DAMON TY! TY FOR FILLING IN! OH, how the turns have tabled! Bonnie using her powers on Stefan is really cool ! And confusing! But cool! The effects were powerful on Stefan's voice when he screamed,"Stopped saying that!" I'll say it again. OH, how the turns have tabled! Also GO ELENA!

He was creating problems to make his brother leave, because he was an incovinience, he was in the way to his plan to get Katherine out of tomb. He didn't know anybody, so for him, as for any other vampire, people were just potential food or the meanning to get something. So he didn't care about anybody, but his brother and Elena because she reminded him of Katherine. Then little by lttle by getting to know people he started to care.

2021-01-29 02:17:53 +0000 UTCThis episode is very important, for two reasons. The first one is to understand Stefan character. He is ashamed to be a vampire, he is pretending to be human, and he is not. By suppressing the vampire side of him and feeding on non human blood, he lives on the edge, swinging from one extreme to the other, with no control of the natural human blood craving that a vampire cannot resist. Damon strangely enough by having embraced what he cannot deny to be, is actually much more balanced, since he learn to control the craving. So once Stefan got a taste again he cannot stop, and the craving feeling is enounced when their emotions are high. The speech in the parking lot is significant. Stefan cares about appearance, reputation a lot. He is been pretending with Elena to be human to be the good brother, and now that she know he is not the perfect good brother he pretended to be, it ruined the whole show he put on, exposed his lying. In this show nobody is entirely good or entirely bad, no one and everybody have motivations behind their actions. The scene where Stefan asked the girl to be afraid of him and run is because the chaise and the fear give maximum pleasure to a vampire. So we learn that Stefan has a big problem with blood, the extent of the problem we still have to learn. By the way, the level of acting by everybody in this show is very high but here Paul Wesley exceeded expectations. In the parking lot scene he gave us a “standing ovation” level of performance, amazing!!! Every time I see it again, I’m so impressed. Two. Damon and Elena. Elena is in love with Stefan and is a fact. But Damon somehow is in the picture, is in the back of her mind and this dance proved it. The attraction between those two is undeniable, for a moment the entire world disappeared and they had a Damon and Elena moment there, a moment extended to the last scene where outside the cellar Stefan is locked in, sitting together they are on the same page. This dance is so iconic and is one of the milestones the show will run around and go back to it for many reasons.
