The Vervain is IN the bracelet so technically Anna didn't TOUCH the Vervain itself. AAAHH! Damon stopping Elena from doing something stupid, plus also showing actual concern for his brother! He does have good qualities. Buried deep within. At the part where Richard Lockwood and Pearl were talking, and Lockwood introduced her to his son, I was waiting for you to say something. It was taking a while so I looked away from the episode and at your face and saw you glaring into my soul. I jumped out of my seat. No joke. OMG THAT'S AMAZING HOW HE GOT IN THE HOUSE! I was not expecting that! I honestly don't know what I was expecting! But not that! You mess with Damon's brother, he goes beast mode! "If I had a good side, not a way to get on it." Damon. So good. Such a good line. And the truth about Vicki comes out. And now Stefan is drinking the adult capri-suns. Oof.

2022-07-27 01:05:44 +0000 UTCi'm not saying this to justify tyler assaulting vicki at all bc theres not an excuse in the world, but in the context of the show i do think it was just a bit of lazy writing when they had him do that early on before they knew they were gonna keep going as a show and make him a more important character. a lot of shows esp in 2000s have this trend and it pisses me off so much but bc tyler becomes a good character later i have to kinda pretend that he just didnt do that.

2021-01-27 19:07:07 +0000 UTCLets see if I can explain this about Tyler.....he wasn't trying to "rape" Vickie...Tyler has anger issues....it was because she said no...he got angry.....it wasn't about the sex part...it was about the "no". Not there there is an excuse for his actions....because there isn't, but I don't think the term "rape" applies here. If that makes sense.
