This was a very good reaction, less focused on speculations about every slightest detail but more commentary about what's actually happening in the important parts of the story. About powers/abilities: Lucifer, Amenadiel and Uriel (and other siblings we'll meet later, all in good time) each have their specific abilities to fit their purpose, they're the angels, the "kids", and have their own bodies. The Mum is the Goddess of all creation, she's all powerful like God, not just a few abilities like the angels. She has no physical form but she's trapped in a human body which is very limiting for her. About money: Lucifer is not getting paid for his work with the police, he has unlimited funds piling up from the beginning of times, in other words he's filthy rich and money is never an issue when it comes to him, he doesn't care about it, so I would stop focusing on that. About Dan dying: I chuckle every time it's mentioned. I got where it came from in season 1 but now? why? just because he has no wife? About back stories: every single main character has their back story fully explained at some point, just give it time. About the case/murder of the week: the more we advance in the series, the less finding whodunit is important, it becomes more and more obvious and the procedural details are sloppy, but it doesn't matter. The cases are the background for Lucifer to project his issues and progress on his journey.
