What kind of animation do you like the most?

Hi folks!

This is just a quick poll to satisfy my curiosity about your option on the game's animations.

* Also, I noticed some people didn't understand well the release ETA (or most likely I didn't express myself correctly). So, to make it a little more clear: I'll use this week to finish the remaining content, and a few more days on the next one testing and polishing it the best I can.

I've been very impressed with what you've done with the 2D skeletal animations, I think you're an excellent technical artist. It ain't nearly as easy as you make it look, that's for damn sure.

The dynamic expressions, sound and clothing sold me the real time option :P Not to mention higher resolution and frame rate help. If the lighting can be good enough I'd definitely go for it.

Enrico

Better pre-rendered animations that got quality checked and look good then live-animation that is glichting and produces errors.

TOKA_浪人

Better camera angles, lighting and movement for the win 100%

Can't wait for the update. Excited to see what the Guardians and the Goddess Pet put Clara through!

I like both options. Your game is just super!

Pre-rendered are regular 3D videos, like what you see in a Pixar movie (not comparable in quality, of course) . It can use better camera movement, lightning and motion in a general way. However they require a high processing time to bake and come in a smaller resolution/frame-rate. Real-time animations are actually a series of 2D images combined by Unity's animation system to look like a 3D scene. They run in a higher resolution, frame rate and can be much more fluid and dynamic (more animation steps, dynamic expressions, sounds, clothing). However, they have limited lightning, camera angles and movement.
