About endings! and v0.9 !

Hi, folks! We're approaching the home stretch of the Hack'n Stalk 2.0 project, so let's talk about endings! No spoilers here, don't worry!

In HnS1 there are 4 completely distinct endings, each one with its own fixed sequence of events. It also features the idea of a 'good' and a 'bad' ending.

For HnS2 my idea is to make endings more dynamic as a way to account all the important choices made by the player, like the endings in classic Fallout and The Elder Scrolls series. 

How your character will end the story will be the main 'theme' of the ending, but the past choices and the fate of the other characters will also compose a dynamic prologue. I'm also not thinking in terms of a 'good' and 'bad' endings (just endings kind of 'appropriate' for the character profile).

About v0.9, work has already started! I still didn't decided about it's size because a 'CONTINUE IN THE NEXT VERSION' message is becoming hard to fit in the remaining planned content (there are still 2 sex scenes, a final quest and the ending sequences).

Totally agree with your choice. On another note, have you thought about what to do after, and the scope of that after? PS: yeah, I want to start supporting again despite hating patreon :)

The walkthrough/guide is some posts below! I still need to update it to v0.8 though. I still need to do some balance to check if the player can see everything in a single 'perfect' playthrough. In HnS1 the achievement system could be used to track all seen/unseen content. In HnS2 I switched it to the gallery (if you still see a disabled button there, it means there are still content to be found!)

Dynamic ending, high risk high reward. A type of ending structure that's very difficult not only to write, but code as well, however if pulled off well it really makes the game stand out from the simple A,B,C ending games. Also I think now is the perfect time to ask about that walkthrough :D ;) :P Or some kind of checklist so that we know we've seen all the game has to offer :D
