That is why I personally feel that we should allow our children to pursue their dreams without intervention from us.. we should only encourage their dreams and help where we can..

2023-02-25 16:30:47 +0000 UTC5:23 This was part of the problem with Somi. Sadly, and it's not her fault. Her "Dad-ager" (dad plus manager) had to keep inserting himself into everything she did. Including once she got on the PRODUCE survival show and made it into I.O.I and why JYPe didn't select her for ITZY and she eventually left JYPe. He had goals of wanting himself and his 2 daughters in "Show business". Other trainees on this show have families, and younger siblings, and also went to school at the time. She is the same age as Chaeryeong, and Natty is even younger. Yet only Somi got a "Day in the life" segment. He wanted to "audition" for future roles himself, you know full well Somi and her father speak English to each other at home and when they are alone, yet for the cameras they continued to speak Korean, her dad wanted to let Korean producers know he spoke Korean. He had some bit parts after this in some shows that needed "a foreigner" in the role.
