About mechanics...
Added 2017-11-09 10:33:37 +0000 UTCHi folks. I hope you enjoyed the first build. Last days were not the most productive, but I'm getting on track again. The released version ends at a point the game will become a little less linear. To complete the 'quest' you'll need to perform some tasks with no required order, visiting several locations.
But don't be fooled by words like 'quest', 'locations', 'inventory' and 'free roam'. This is not a sandbox/simulation game. There are lots of these games around. They are easy to start (and to get attention to), but they aren't easy to finish and to make a story unfold.
HnS2 will feature a time progress, were in each day you will find different opportunities. But the day/night will progress based on scripted events. You won't need to 'wait/workout/sleep/eat/shower/whatever' multiple times. Just focus on the opportunities, click and point mechanics, choices, action games and 'hot' scenes.
I'd love to work on a sandbox/simulation game some day. But they are a very different kind of project, and require a good team to be feasible!
