Ableton Granular Synthesis Textured Pads

If you've ever been confused about how to use granular synthesis - these textured pads presets are fun, musical examples of getting incredible ambient pad sounds, and they make full use of Ableton's most underrated extension modules that you probably haven't tried yet!

Granulator III and the creative extensions pack (linked below) are immensely powerful tools for bringing granular synthesis and spectral reverb-like effects into your sound design.

I also created a fun tutorial to help you create these sounds from scratch - and you can create them from ANYTHING - wind noises, VHS hiss, ocean waves - this technique creates beautiful, sine-oscillator-esq ambient pads totally from scratch.
