Regarding Buffy's mentioning of a pager if Giles, Willow, and Xander don't have one, well, you don't need use a pager to contact another pager (unless there were some fancy pagers I didn't know about). Giles mentioned, "She has a beeping thing." He then looks around the room and says, "No phone, of course." He'd need a phone to call the pager and send a message to it. :)
