Description: As a professor of astrophysics, Lena Luthor has always been convinced there was life on other planets. She just never expected to meet an alien, let alone fall in love with one.

[Winner of the recent poll. This story came together a bit differently than expected. You'll see why.]

Throughout Lena Luthor’s life, she looked to the sky for comfort and a sense of purpose.

At age nine, she probably shouldn’t have been fixated on the idea of her own insignificance, but a wise mentor gave her a cheap little telescope and recited a poem that stuck with her:

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

For the next twenty years, the universe awed her with meteor showers, blazing comets, and moons of all colors. She watched the planets in all their phases of rotation and looked at all of the stars like little pins on the map of the night sky.

It soothed the lonely part of her soul, the sad little voice inside of her who understood abandonment and wanted to feel connected to something bigger than herself. In hard times, stargazing took her mind away from her problems and allowed her to dream of different life forms on far-off planets. She went out to her favorite spots with her telescope on a weekly basis and sometimes camped under the light of a summer moon.

In her day job, she was a professor of astrophysics — young and distinguished, but unable to blend in to a department with a lot of critical skeptics who called some of her findings “statistically insignificant” and poked holes in her theories. She had no friends at work apart from her former advisor, Rhea, and the only other omega on the same office floor, Samantha Arias.

Her papers argued in favor of finding life on other planets, although she didn’t believe she would find any empirical proof of that within her own lifetime.

On a clear and warm Saturday night while her peers were out at bars or mingling at restaurants, Lena set herself up on the outskirts of town with her telescope and peered up at the twinkling stars. She checked in on them fondly like they were distant friends, her gaze drifting from one to another until she caught a meteor shower.

“I didn’t think this was taking place tonight,” Lena murmured to herself as she followed the fiery blaze through the atmosphere in all of its streaked glory. She pressed her eye closer to the lens of the telescope and blinked when the debris didn’t disintegrate. “Why aren’t you fading?”

In fact, why was it getting bigger, instead of crumbling away like usual?
It took her a moment to realize that fragments weren’t descending through the Earth's atmosphere, and the strange thing was that it wasn’t far off, either.

The flaming object was hurtling closer and Lena jerked up to witness trees splinter not far from where she stood.

Flames singed the foliage, and the ground beneath her feet shook with the thunderous boom of the impact. It rocked her truck and set off the alarm system. In the startled chaos of it all, she hardly registered the faint sound of sirens and helicopters.

Instead of running from the crash, Lena stumbled towards it in a fugue-like state with laughter on her lips. She took in the sight of an aircraft unlike any she had ever seen before and crept closer to inspect the sleek design that still burned the soil it had landed on.

“This is remarkable. It isn’t one of our own by any means and I probably shouldn’t be anywhere near it, but I was right. This is proof.”

Lena’s excitement got the better of her and she pulled her phone out to document the crash.

She almost launched her phone into the forest when the side of the pod popped off with a clatter.

Lena screamed in a loud, high pitch when a tall figure emerged from the tiny vessel.

In her rush to retreat, she promptly tripped over a branch and landed awkwardly on her ass with a grunt.

“Oh god, of course something had to pilot it and now it’s going to eat me, and the government will cover it up.”

The figure loomed above her in a shiny protective suit and Lena raised her hands up to shield herself as it pulled the helmet off its head to reveal lustrous blonde hair.

“No, please don’t hurt me, I’m–”

The words stuck in Lena’s throat as she caught a whiff of strong alpha pheromones, and her jaw slackened at the handsome face smiling down at her.

Uncomfortably aroused,
the little voice in her mind whispered.

“Oh, wow, okay. So I was wrong. You’re obviously human and this—well this must be a new form of travel for astronauts. I won’t say a word.”

Lena accepted the hand-up from the kind stranger who stared at her with wide, shining blue eyes.

“I’m Lena, by the way, and you are?” Lena asked, belatedly realizing that it was probably classified information. She tucked her hair behind her ear and blinked up at the alpha with a hopeful smile that she wouldn’t end up locked away for almost filming new tech that was unreleased to the public.

“Leena.” The alpha repeated, her smile widening as she sniffed the air with interest. “I’m Kara Zor-el of the planet Krypton, here to stop our extinction.”

“The planet Krypton? Are you fucking with me right now?” Lena pushed out her bottom lip at the mockery. She would have carried on if not for the way Kara turned and pulled some of her belongings from the fire.

With her bare hands.

Kara lifted a red blanket and some other items from the metallic space vehicle like she was just retrieving toaster strudel and not risking life-ending burns.

“Oh. Oh. Okay, that’s not a thing normal humans can do.Lena stood by in awe until common sense kicked-in and she remembered the sirens and helicopters. “Kara, we have to go now. You’ll be safe with me.”

She hated to abandon the intergalactic space vehicle at the site of the crash, but with the noise all around them, she could only imagine the military wasn’t going to welcome Kara warmly. Fortunately, none of them knew the woods like Lena did.

In less than a minute, she had Kara stuffed into the passenger seat of her truck with a conviction in her mind that she could pass the alien off as human.

“You look like us, and biologically there must be some similarities. How is that possible? You know, lots of people write theories about what life on other planets will look like. Do you realize how many scientists would laugh at me if I said aliens have the same outward characteristics?”

Lena rambled and swerved down the roads like she was in a high-speed chase. Meanwhile, Kara just stared at her with big eyes.

“No, how many scientists would laugh at you?” Kara asked, not understanding the rhetorical nature of the question. “You’re beautiful. I have trouble imagining anyone who would be foolish enough not to hang on your every word.”

From a place of self-consciousness, Lena scoffed at that and mumbled to herself, “The alien is also a charmer. How do you know my language well enough to compliment me?”

Kara touched a metallic-looking band around her neck and blinked.

“Does that translate for you?” Lena asked in distracted fascination and almost veered them into a ditch. She corrected herself with a wild tug of the wheel and gunned it down the dirt path that would take her back to the main road. “Is it altering your voice so I can understand you?”

Possible theories sprang into Lena’s mind and she tingled with the excitement of another new discovery.

“No. It scans for any detectable language. Upon arrival, I learned all spoken languages on Earth,” Kara explained and continued to peer at Lena with keen infatuation.

“All of them?” Lena enquired perhaps a tad forcefully as she took a sharp right and floored it up the road at a dangerous speed. “Your brain must be the equivalent of an encyclopaedia. I can’t imagine having such vast knowledge of language condensed in my memory.”

Intelligent life really was out there, and now it was sitting right next to her and playing with the electric windows.

Lena tried not to gawk at Kara or the tight fit of her suit that showcased muscles. She attributed the tremble of her fingers to the chilled breeze flooding the truck and not the adrenaline of finding the alien attractive.

Nobody would believe that she had found a Kryptonian. Not that she could actually tell anyone.

The risk of getting caught smuggling an alien didn’t bear thinking about, so Lena pushed the thought right out of her mind as she screeched to a stop in front of her house.

“Okay we’re home. Get out,” Lena instructed and stepped out of the vehicle to join Kara at the passenger side. She draped the red blanket over Kara’s shoulders to conceal her space suit and pushed her up the steps to her home. “We can’t let anyone see you. There’s no telling what they’ll do.”

The second she turned her key in the lock, Lena heard the whirring blades of helicopters no doubt scouring the forest for any sign of Kara. Lena shoved the alien through the door and locked it with all the frantic energy of a woman completely out of her depth for the situation she landed herself in by accident.

“You can’t wear that in case anyone comes looking for you. Come upstairs so I can find you clothes–”

The sound of fabric hitting the floor stalled Lena’s brain, and it took every ounce of her willpower not to look over her shoulder as she walked up the stairs.

Kara moved in long strides behind her, and they reached the bedroom at the same time. Lena faced the closet with the strange intuition Kara was watching her.

“Of all the places you could have arrived, what are the odds you would have accidentally crashed here?” Lena realized she was talking just to fill the awkward silence as she raked through her closet.

“It wasn’t an accident.” Kara blinked and inhaled deeply, smiling at Lena’s shy curiosity. “I performed detailed calculations with the birthing matrix to find you. All of my research suggested that you would be the one to help.”

“Did you know that I’m a scientist studying life on other planets?” Lena wondered if aliens had access to the journals where her articles were published.

“The matrix gave me a lot of information, but I didn’t know I would feel an immediate connection to you.” Kara lifted her hand, waiting for Lena to place her palm flush against it.

It reminded Lena of scenes from movies about alien-human connections, and it made her smile, at least until she remembered that Kara was standing there naked.

“You need clothes,” Lena blurted and grabbed a random shirt and sweatpants to fling at her alien guest.

Kara ignored the outfit as it fell to the floor and reached out to grasp the side of Lena’s face. She stepped closer and brought their mouths together in a kiss.

Lena would have pulled away, but she was too dumbstruck and excited by the caress of Kara’s soft lips.

It didn’t occur to her that Kara could be carrying foreign space germs because her eyes were shut and her heart was hammering.

It felt like she was kissing an average alpha. Above average.

Kara’s lips were soft but insistent and her hands were warm like sunlight against Lena’s skin.

She leaned into it instinctively, her lips parting and breath hitching at the first sweet caress of Kara’s tongue on her own.

Lena moaned without filter and her hand drifted lower to feel the solid shape of Kara’s abdomen beneath her fingertips.

Lena didn’t want to think what would have happened if they weren’t interrupted by loud thumping against her door. She shot back with a gasp and her eyes took in the sizeable shaft between Kara’s thighs that lifted to point right at her. “Oh god–that’s–”

“It pleases you?” Kara asked with fragrant and hopeful pheromones. She stood proudly with her fists on her hips and took a step closer.

“No. Yes. I mean there’s someone at the door looking for you.”

Lena was too flustered to think straight and she worried someone would blow the door off its hinges if she didn’t hurry up and answer it. “Stay right here and I’ll get rid of them.”

She nearly broke an ankle in her race down the stairs and cracked the door open an inch to see men in dark suits. “Can I help you gentlemen?”

“We’re hoping you can, Miss Luthor,” The taller of the two stated without moving his lips much. His stern face was hard to read and he stared down at Lena. “We have it on good authority that you frequent the national park to stargaze. You wouldn’t happen to have been there tonight, would you?”

“Me?” Lena laughed, high pitched and unnatural. “Oh, no. I usually schedule my visits for planet alignments and meteor showers. Nothing exciting was happening tonight so I’ve been home. Is something wrong?”

“Are you alone?” Another gentleman asked and tried to look over her shoulder.

“Yes, it’s just me—” Lena warbled with a sense that Kara was walking down the stairs at the worst possible time. “And my girlfriend.

To her relief, Kara wore the baggy grey sweatpants and the soft white tee. She headed straight to the door like any alpha might.

“Is something wrong?” Kara asked, not the least bit nervous in the presence of danger. Her sunny demeanor never dropped off as she glanced around at the threat infiltrating the neighborhood.

Several armored vehicles made their way down the block and men hurried out to knock on doors. Their lights were visible all around, and Lena placed a hand on Kara’s arm in a silent plea not to say too much.

The men looked Kara up and down, but didn’t see anything amiss.

“Some kind of minor explosion in the woods nearby,” One of the men volunteered. “It could be a helicopter crash. Nothing to worry about, though we’ve been asked to investigate as a matter of course.”

That was a blatant lie, and Lena clamped her mouth shut for fear of calling the man out.

“Is she your mate?” One of the investigators questioned and gestured to Lena for double confirmation.

“My soulmate.” Kara pressed a hand to her chest and smiled.

A few of the alphas in the group smirked to each other.

“Can we get your name?” The leader asked and pulled out a pen to write it down. “We need it for our records.”

“Damn the universe,” Lena mumbled under her breath, halting as she drew the eyes of multiple investigators. “I mean—Dan—verse. Danvers. Kara Danvers.”

It could have been a terrible mistake to provide a name with no records attached to it, but Lena’s quick thinking wasn’t just a slip-up or fabrication. One of her closest friends was Alex Danvers, who worked with all of the archival records of the city. If anyone could create a file on a fake person, it would be Alex.

“Kara Danvers, got it,” The man drawled happily and jotted it down. “You have a good night with your soulmate.”

That caused a few laughs in the group before they headed off to interrogate another family.

Kara looked perplexed as Lena shut the door. “Did I say the wrong thing?”

“No. It’s okay.” Lena headed to the kitchen and pulled open the fridge and cabinets in search of food. “This isn’t exactly the first time I’ve had a pretend girlfriend. In high school, my hair used to be very curly and I wore glasses.”

Kara continued to stare at her in awe, and Lena waved her off in embarrassment. She hid her face in the fridge to stall the blush that was trying to brighten her cheeks and sighed at the semi-bare shelves. “Trust me, you wouldn’t have liked it. Nobody did, not even me.”

It wouldn’t have mattered either way what Kara thought, or at least, it shouldn’t.

So why did Lena care that the Kryptonian shook her head like she wanted to protest?

Lena grabbed some sandwich supplies and buttered two slices of bread while Kara watched on in fascination.

“I would find you captivating in any form,” Kara argued and twirled a strand of Lena’s hair around her finger to make a loose ringlet. She undertook every action with confidence and stepped closer to breathe in Lena’s light fragrance.

“You haven’t seen me sleep deprived at the ass crack of dawn, poring over student papers.”

The smile she spoke through made her words sound flirtatious, and Lena piled thick cuts of chicken on top of slices of salted tomatoes and lettuce. She slapped on some cheese, pickles, and a dollop of mayo, then cut it in half to serve Kara.

“I figured you must be hungry after all of your travels, and we won’t be going anywhere for a while with all of those men outside hunting you down,” Lena reasoned.

She waited for Kara to take her first bite of food. It would give Lena an inkling into Kara’s biology if she could eat and drink without any problems.

She gawked as the alien devoured the sandwich in four large bites, then went on to lift the pickle jar like she planned to drink the liquid.

“Oh, no, that’s very acidic. You should have some water instead.”

It would have been wise to run tests on Kara — nothing terribly invasive, but just a routine check-up. It was what any sane scientist would do instead of following the very magnetic pull of Kara’s pheromones.

She worried her common sense was being overridden by hormones, and almost poured the glass of water down Kara instead of handing it off.

Fortunately, the Kryptonian’s reflexes were far superior, and Kara caught the drink before a single drop spilled.

Lena chewed her lip as she thought of seeing those muscles work and snapped out of her haze to ask, “Kara, would you mind if I gave you a physical exam? It won’t hurt. It would just help me to understand you better.”

Kara rolled her short sleeve up and stuck out her arm like that was all Lena needed to assess her whole physical make-up. “Of course, go ahead and scan me.”

Lena furrowed her brow in confusion over Kara’s expectation that she would use a scanner. “What do you mean?”

The jutting swell of Kara’s muscle was distracting, and Lena licked her lips as the Kryptonian walked over to lift her blue space-suit. Kara retrieved another small device from her belongings and pointed the scanner at her skin.

“No pathogens,” Kara declared with a satisfied nod. “I’m in good health.”

Lena sidled up alongside her peculiar guest to squint at the little diagnostic machine in her hand. “No injuries from the impact, or your flaming spacecraft? Let me just check.”

It didn’t start out as an opportunistic exercise, but as she traced her fingers over Kara’s golden skin, she became caught up in the uncanny similarities between them. One obvious difference was that Kara seemed impervious to dangers that would have killed a human.

“You’re soft,” Lena whispered, raising the light blonde hair on Kara’s arm with her gentle touch. “There isn’t a scratch on you.”

Kara grinned down at her, totally oblivious to how inappropriate it was for Lena to ruck up her shirt and smooth her hands over those delectably attractive abs that looked hand carved by god.

“Exquisite definition,” Lena whispered, following the curve of Kara’s muscles down to the waistband of her pants.

She caught herself in the nick of time and recoiled so quickly that she almost fell into the kitchen island.

Whatever pain she expected failed to flourish because Kara caught her about the waist before she hurt herself. Lena blinked up at the alpha and her flustered pheromones reflected attraction and intrigue that she couldn’t hide.

“You certainly move fast, don’t you? Is everything about you enhanced?” Lena meant it innocently enough, but her wanton omega made a fool of her by perfuming the air with arousal.

It would have been smart to slink off, and if she wasn’t bent half backwards, she might have tried.

Kara saw the opportunity to kiss her again. This time, there was no distraction to pull them apart.

Their lips meshed erotically and Lena let her intuitions lead her. She smoothed her hands down the front of Kara’s shirt and gripped onto the fabric as the action started to heat up.

In the back of her head, Lena had a bunch of jokes about alien sex and probing. She just didn’t get the chance to make a mockery of their kiss with Kara’s fingers tangling into her hair.

Her thoughts brought a faintly amused curl to the corners of her mouth. Kara nuzzled at her jaw and neck, completely self-assured as she opened the top buttons on Lena’s blouse.

“You should undress and we should go up to bed,” Kara suggested, taking a bold approach to seduction. She lacked the typical aggressive personality of most alphas, and still her smile was just as effective at making Lena’s panties wet.

“There’s a guest room next to mine,” Lena intoned with the determination to exercise some self-restraint. “You’ll be quite comfortable in there.”

It wasn’t that she found the idea of having sex with Kara unappealing. She just worried about how she would be perceived if they slept together. As the official one-woman welcome party to Earth, she was concerned that all Kryptonians would develop the wrong idea about humans.

Lena high-tailed it up the stairs before her guest tried to get handsy again or worked open any more buttons. “Right in here. See? There’s a big cozy bed and extra blankets.”

She flipped the light switch on for her guest and turned it back off with a gasp when Kara strode into the room completely naked. Even cast in shadows, Kara was like a living, breathing sculpture. Lena wanted to map the contours of the alpha’s body with her hands, and maybe her mouth, and that was enough to make her laugh anxiously.

“Okay, well, goodnight. I’ll see you in the morning and we can work on integrating you into society safely with a plan.” It sounded good in theory, although she was starting to wonder if Kara’s proximity was negatively impacting her cognitive function. She knew nothing of the alpha and had kissed her twice already.

It was obvious that she couldn’t trust herself to be around Kara without being tempted to act on her biological urges.

Lena’s omega responded positively to the undeniably effective pheromones Kara released, and instead of contacting her trusted friends or the authorities, she chose to harbor an alien.

“Is it not customary to share the space with a mate?” Kara asked with sad eyes and a pout to her ridiculously kissable lips. She swept her hand towards the bed like it was too big for one person to sleep in and cocked her head like she expected Lena to join her under the covers.

“We were just pretending so they wouldn’t take you away.”

Logic didn’t seem to apply when Lena’s voice wavered like she was telling a lie. It didn’t make sense to be so attached to someone she only just met, and it frightened her how desperately she wanted to join Kara.

Kara didn’t seem fazed and held out her hands with a beautiful and earnest smile to beckon Lena closer. “But the matrix brought me to you. Its calculations never fail.”

“And here you are, ready to catch a cold on a foreign planet,” Lena sang and coaxed Kara onto the bed just to cover her with the blanket before she did something unimaginably rash, like press herself against the alpha and beg to be touched.

God, how long had it been since she had been wanted by anyone?

Lena’s skin itched for contact, and she attributed it to Kara’s alien pheromones.

She left Kara in the spare room without another word and hurried into the shower in case the tingle she felt wasn’t purely benign. Just because Kara didn’t carry any pathogens that were harmful to her didn’t mean Lena was safe from the potential contaminants of space travel.

The last thing she expected to find in her bed when she toweled off and snuck under the covers in the dark was the solid warmth of Kara waiting there for her.

“We don’t have to kiss or do more than that,” Kara assured her with a platonic rub of her back. “I can just hold you.”

Lena permitted the comforting touch because of an odd sense that she could trust Kara. For all she knew, the Kryptonian had space tentacles that could pop out at any moment and suck the life out of her. That horrifying mental image faded as Kara curled around her and Lena felt the one appendage that had been there all along. Thick and hard against her lower back.

Goodnight, Lena,” Kara whispered and nestled close under the blankets. “I know that we’re still getting acquainted, but I can already tell that the matrix selected you for a reason. I’ve never met someone more caring and beautiful.”

Lena wondered what inconceivably complex calculation brought the two of them together across the vast expanse of the universe. The matrix must have known that she would be a welcoming scientist, not afraid of the unknown and capable of forging a good alliance with the Kryptonian civilization.

While theorizing, Lena slipped onto the same deeply-focused mode she used in the lab, but a lot of images flashed through her mind that had nothing to do with professional curiosity.

Kara’s thick-brimmed tip was prodding into her, and she opened her thighs just enough for it to slide forward. The large shaft was right against her pajama shorts and cotton panties. She shifted just enough to allow it part-way under the loose-fitting shorts.

“Have sweet dreams,” Lena uttered with a quiet gasp and the knowledge that Kara was already drifting off.

It took a whole hour for Lena to still her fast-beating heart. Upon actually falling asleep, she dreamed of sex — not just tender sex, but sex in a lot of positions, her cunt stuffed full and knotted.

Waking up, she realized there was drool stuck to her cheek and her hair was all crinkly from restless tossing. She convinced herself the night before was all just a weird dream until Kara padded into the room with a breakfast tray and a book in hand.

“I hope you don’t mind. I borrowed some of your currency with the strange faces on it and went to the store. Then I did some light reading.”

Instead of typical breakfast foods, Lena saw that Kara prepared sandwiches of all kinds with bizarre fillings. Some of the bread was stuffed with cookies and chocolate bars.

You went to the store? Did you to speak to anyone?” Lena sat up in alarm and tried to picture Kara wandering down the aisles of the nearest convenience store or deli.

“I told the cashier I was shopping for my mate.” Kara blinked and pointed to where Lena’s laptop was open on her bureau. “I spent all morning learning about your culture so I would be prepared to assimilate.”

“It’s only 8:30,” Lena muttered, wiping the side of her face and finger-combing the tangles out of her hair.

Kara frowned at the sun shining through the window like Lena was criticizing her lack of productivity and not the other way around. “Yes, and I also finished all of the American literature. Now I’m onto the Russians.”

“You finished all of the American novels I own?” Lena balked. “There’s at least a hundred.”

She learned that her alien guest had extraordinary speed—not just when it came to physical movements, but also when it came to the processing of information.

They carried the breakfast tray downstairs to her home library and Lena bit into one of the chocolatey sandwiches as she spotted at least three-hundred books resting on the floor instead of where they belonged on her shelves.

Kara went into a whirlwind cleaning frenzy and picked them all up before she could complain about the mess.

Not only did Kara place them all back on the shelves, she sorted them into the correct order faster than Lena could blink. It was a jarring sight to see what the alpha could accomplish without breaking a sweat or becoming disoriented.

“You have super powers,” Lena concluded with a breathless laugh of wonder and thought back to every comic book she had ever read as a kid to debunk it with science. “Are they new or were you this fast on Krypton?”

It was politer than asking what else Kara could do, though the alpha looked at her with a confused smile and raised her shoulders in a practiced shrug. “Things were different there. I enjoy this new environment. I feel stronger on this planet.”

“Stronger?” Lena reiterated as her mind looped on how impervious to danger Kara appeared to be.

She didn’t get to ask much else, since Kara dropped a choco and gasped in dismay. The little cookie rolled beneath Lena’s large fridge and Kara lifted the full thing with two fingers.

It appeared to float precariously on Kara’s fingertips several feet off the ground, and Lena experienced a full body clench that left her positively stupid. “So, yeah. That’s something you can do.”

Lena’s omega didn’t give a damn what Kara could lift. She was stuck on what the alpha could consensually do to her.

She felt her heartbeat echo through her clit and casually tried to lean against the counter before her knees gave out from the sudden onset of arousal.

Was it possible to spontaneously enter a heat even when on suppressors, and weeks in advance?

Lena mulled it over while Kara delightedly picked up her cookie and exhaled sharply to blow off any dust that clung to her treat. Which, besides being a bit questionable, was very normal.

The outpouring of frost from Kara’s lips wasn’t – and Lena stared in fascination at the frozen choco that Kara happily crunched her way through.

“These are wonderful, Lena. We must buy more. There were only three boxes on the shelf.” Kara’s mood turned somewhat troubled like she assumed those were the only chocos in America, and her worried little frown brought Lena closer.

“Oh, those are a very popular snack. We’re unlikely to ever run out permanently, but I’ll stock up on them so you have a constant supply.”

She might as well have offered Kara the moon with the way the alpha’s face lit up.

Lena never saw the kiss coming because Kara was so damn fast, but she certainly leaned into it the moment their lips touched.

It was getting too easy to imagine herself with the Kryptonian. Lena’s hands wandered with the same urgency of Kara’s when they touched.

She moaned as the alpha lifted her up to sit her on the kitchen island and licked across her lips in silent request for entrance.

Images of her dream flashed into her mind and she parted her thighs for Kara to stand between them. “Kara-last night I-we didn’t–”

Several sharp knocks at her door jolted them apart, and Lena hopped off the counter and flung her arm out to motion for Kara to stay put while she investigated.

Lena’s stomach lurched with the expectation of finding another agent on her door, but it was just her friend Sam, who stood on her porch with wide eyes.

“Did you hear about the crash? It’s all over the news. They claim it was a helicopter, but I call bullshit. I say we go down there and take a look for ourselves. You’ve always been so sure about other life and I think you’re right. This is definitely a cover up.”

Lena grabbed her friend by the front of her jacket and pulled her inside to the living room. “Sam, I need you to call Kelly and Alex. I might have been stargazing in the woods last night. There is life on another planet called Krypton and I brought it home with me.”

Sam glanced around like she was expecting a petri dish or some kind of creature. Kara walked into the room munching on chocos, and she stood back in awe but not for any of the reasons Lena would have expected.

“Okay, you can show me your weird life-form later,” Sam whispered and jabbed her in the ribs. “Who is this hottie you’ve never introduced me to?”

Lena deadpanned with a serious jut of her pouty lips and a small glance down at her side like she was truly injured. “She’s the alien. Her name is Kara Zor-El and she traveled a very far way to get here.”

“Shut up, Lena. If you don’t want to introduce me to your girlfriend, just say so.” Sam pulled an offended face and approached Kara with an outstretched hand.

Not yet understanding the concept of handshakes, even after her morning study, Kara placed a choco in Sam’s palm.

“Thanks,” Sam said in confusion and glanced at the cookie. “I’m Sam, one of Lena’s best friends. If not the best friend. How long have you two been dating?”

“We’re not dating,” Lena spat angrily and pointed at Kara with the determination to prove she wasn’t insane. “Kara, can you turn please breathe on another cookie?”

Kara gave her a bewildered look and opened her mouth to softly huff over another cookie. This time there was no sparkling frost, but she did lick the engraved choco logo.

“Okay, I swear I’m not losing my mind.” Lena frowned and beckoned the alien closer to her so she could make a more proper introduction. “This really is Kara Zor-El, and she’s from another planet.”

Sam scoffed and turned to Kara, who merely smiled down at her until Lena grabbed the pack of chocos and tossed them under the couch.

“Okay, that’s rude, Lena—”

Sam’s jaw unhinged mid-chastisement at the sight of Kara lifting the couch above her head with one hand to retrieve her beloved cookies.

“You’re fucking joking. She’s an ali-mphm—

Lena didn’t mean to slap her hand over Sam’s mouth but she couldn’t risk someone overhearing her friend’s shriek. “Keep it down. Agents were at my door last night looking for her and covering their own asses. I bluffed my way through their little interrogation by telling them Kara was my girlfriend.”

“We are soulmates,” Kara agreed with a big grin and devoured the last four chocos with a few loud crunches.

Lena ignored her friend’s intense stare and carried on like she wasn’t turning an aroused shade of pink. “So now we need Alex to help us because I might have told the agents that she’s a Danvers.”

“Jesus Christ, Lena, why the hell didn’t you call me?” Sam sputtered and drifted towards Kara in awe.

“Paranoia that they would tap into my phone?” Lena ran her fingers through her hair and darted to the window to peek out at the silent street beyond her property. “They knew who I was, Sam. They’ve clearly researched me or had their eye on me for a while because of my papers about extraterrestrial life.”

“Don’t panic,” Sam urged. “I’ll get in touch with Alex at work. Kelly’s probably doing some rounds at the hospital. We’ll figure all of this out.”

Within the hour, Sam contacted both of her girlfriends and they arrived to sit beside her on the couch. Lena carefully went over the entire story with them while Kara continued testing out different snack foods.

Kara’s discovery of ice cream was amusing to witness. She happily licked away at a dripping strawberry ice cream cone without seeming to care that she was under observation.

“So, you used my last name because you knew I’d be able to create a fake identity for Kara?” Alex asked, catching up on the information she missed.

“I figured it was the safest option.” Lena worried her lip as her friends had the opportunity to interact with her alien guest.

“What exactly is your plan going forward?” Kelly asked, ever the pragmatist of the group. “Will Kara just live with you in complete hiding?”

The topic of conversation pulled Kara’s attention away from her sweets and she sat on the loveseat next to Lena. “I’m going to assimilate to your culture and live out the rest of my life on the planet Earth. Krypton is dying. There’s no going back.”

Lena picked up on a deep sadness in Kara for the first time and her heart softened even more towards the Kryptonian. “Kara is welcome to live here as long as she wants. If nothing else, her existence satisfies my intellectual curiosities about the universe. There’s a lot I can learn from her.”

The sappy smile on Kara’s face was all the more touching when she linked their hands together and peered down at Lena in adoration.

Warmth spread through Lena and she breathed a little deeper to fill her lungs with Kara’s scent. Her infatuation must have been easy to read because Alex cleared her throat.

“Not to interrupt the moment but why is it just you?” Alex blinked in confusion and side-eyed Kelly and Sam to see if her partners were pondering the same. “I mean if Krypton is dying, where are the rest of your people?”

“Searching for their best matches across the galaxy. Several might land on Earth, while the rest will disperse to other planets in order to stop our extinction.”

The explanation seemed far too casual for the severity of the situation but Kara seemed open to discussing it with how she faced Lena’s friends.

Sam was the first one to pick up on the implications, and she leaned on her thighs to gawk at Kara. “So, you came here with the intention to breed?

“To find Lena,” Kara supplied and slipped her arm around Lena’s waist to hold her closer.

Everyone turned their attention onto Lena, who squirmed not just from the scrutiny, but the potent flirtatious pheromones that made her panties uncomfortably slick.

“So have you two, you know–?” Sam let the question taper off and raised her eyebrows suggestively.

“No!” Lena hissed, appalled that her best friend would even think she was the kind of omega to fall into bed with anyone the first night, let alone an alien. “No, we haven't.”

Kara chose that moment to share some personal details that frankly mortified Lena the second she uttered them. “But you held me between your thighs last night.”

That wasn’t-we didn’t copulate, Kara!” Lena frantically set the record straight with too much accuracy for her own good. “You’re just unnaturally large and it happened to be the easiest way to sleep since you insisted on spooning me.”

“Wow.” Kelly breathed, in tandem with Alex’s whispered, “Holy shit.

Alex shook her head like she was trying to clear away the mental image of them in bed together and got to her feet. “Anyway, yeah, I’d better go if I’m going to create those papers for Kara. Call us if you need anything.”

“Like advice,” Kelly suggested, only for Sam to cut her off with a laugh, “Or condoms.”

“Oh god, just get out,” Lena pleaded, too embarrassed to walk them to the door.

After her friends were gone, she almost wished that she had accompanied them. Her head was spinning with the idea that a Kryptonian would cross the universe just to find her.

Kara filtered sweet pheromones into the air, pungent and seductive. “Your friends are nice. They are like your family, aren’t they?”

“My only family,” Lena reflected with a small squint and a weird premonition that was about to change.

“Not for long,” Kara intoned with kind eyes and an earnest smile that shouldn’t have convinced Lena it was true. She smoothed her palm across Lena’s cheek and traced her thumb over the sharp cut of her jaw to marvel openly at her beauty.

“How can you be so sure?” Lena quizzed her with a piercing look and tried to detect any deception. “I don’t even know where your planet is located in the vaster universe. Tell me honestly, if Krypton wasn’t dying, would you still have come here to find me?”

“Oh, yes.” Kara emphatically nodded and leaned in to trace her nose along the frantic pulse of Lena’s throat. “There’s no better match for me in the universe. Biologically we match, but I sensed our connection the moment you approached my pod. I feel it now, stronger than ever, and we synced during our sleep cycle.”

“Wait, you were actually in my dreams?” Lena went slack-jawed from the knowledge that those experiences were shared.

She remembered every orgasm vividly from her long night’s rest and glanced down to where Kara’s pants looked terribly restricting. The dimensions of the hard outline were impossible to ignore.

“Yes, couldn’t you tell?” Kara asked and cocked her head to the side like she didn’t understand the limitations of humans.

Lena pressed her thighs together to ease the throb of her clit. “No, I had no idea. Anyway, I have a lot to do, so we can discuss this later.”

It was distracting information, since she couldn’t redirect her brain to another topic after finding out that her dreams were as close to reality as possible. She made several attempts to ignore her libido and go about her normal business.

Tidying up the house and responding to emails required an extra level of focus, and her eyes searched out Kara in every room they both occupied.

Every heated glance between them was whittling down her sanity, and she came to a decision after intense eye-sex. “Give me 20 minutes and meet me upstairs in my bedroom.”

It would take her that long just to shower and put on lingerie, and her body protested the little bit of distance from Kara. She played with her sensitive tits as she slipped into soft black lace. On Krypton, she assumed fashions were different and she didn’t know if the sexy gown would be appreciated the same way. She pulled on a light matching robe and sank onto a cozy chair to wait for Kara to enter her bedroom.

The peek-through dark fabric clung to her breasts and fanned out in a light skirt that ended above the thigh.

Kara opened the door and paused at the sight of her. “You dressed like this for me?”

“Maybe,” Lena considered with a coy bite of her lip. “What is it you want from me, Kara Zor-El?”

Kara was too mesmerized to answer as Lena stepped over to meet her near the bed.

“Is it this?” Lena rubbed at her taut, pebbled nipples and watched them poke through the material.

Kara breathed in the intimate perfume of her arousal and strode closer with hooded, dark eyes that seduced Lena into a kiss. She cupped Lena’s cheek and brought their foreheads together, but ruined the mood with a question. “Are you lubricated and ready to proceed, Lena?”

“Oh god, okay, listen,” Lena groaned, and backed out of Kara’s touch to give her a quick crash course on things she hadn’t learned in any of the books she had read. “If we’re doing this you need to use my terminology. I’m not lubricated. I’m wet.”

Of all the things to teach an alien, Lena never considered it would be the ins and outs of her own preferences for sex. She situated herself on the bed and peeled back the lacy fabric to flaunt the glossy partition at the apex of her thighs and directed Kara to look by holding her labia apart. “This is my cunt, Kara. You can even call it my pussy, but if you want to get inside this warm, tight, little space, then you’ll forget every other name for it except those.”

Lena punctuated each word by dipping her middle finger into her slick tunnel with soft, breathy sighs of satisfaction and watched the front of Kara’s borrowed pants stretch obscenely in the front. She smeared her essence over her aching clit to tease it out from the hood so Kara could see it fully aroused and eager for attention.

“I don’t know if it’s the same for omegas on Krypton but this little bud is the epicenter of all omega pleasure on Earth. I don’t know if you can tell from all the way over there, but my clit is very sensitive, Kara. See how I tense inside whenever I massage it?”

Given how erotic her dreams were last night, she already knew Kara could fuck her into a coma, but it aroused her to be in command this time.

She smirked at the rushed way Kara climbed onto the bed to stare at her pussy as it contracted, and then carried on her lesson.

“These are my tits,” Lena rasped, and palmed at the soft swells to draw Kara’s eye back up to them. “Don’t call them anything else while we’re being intimate or my libido will crash harder than your pod did. Got it?”

Kara nodded like she had forgotten how to speak and stared, glassy eyed and enthralled at Lena.

It was almost endearing, and Lena briefly wondered if this was the first time Kara had ever seen an omega up close. She put the thought out of her mind as she motioned to Kara’s pants and raised a dark brow to demand, “You traveled all this way just to fuck me, so the least you can do is show me your cock.”

There was nothing shy about the speed in which Kara flung off her clothes. There was a high chance they were ruined with the way Kara ripped them off her toned and muscular body, and she knelt on the bed between Lena’s thighs to proudly show off her enormous erection.

“This will feel so good inside your cunt, Lena,” Kara promised, keenly aware of the way Lena whimpered and clenched from her words. She rubbed the giant glans between Lena’s pussy lips and pushed through the quivering spasm of her entrance with a slow and careful lunge.

“Oh-oh fuck, go faster,” Lena whimpered, too overwhelmed by the sensation of Kara’s tip rubbing into her walls that she forgot the importance of pacing herself. She arched into the mattress at Kara’s first, real, thrust and shook from the force of the alpha submerging herself completely.

“Like this, Lena? Does it feel even better when I’m in this deep?” Kara smoothed her hands up Lena’s inner thighs and clasped them firmly to keep them apart as she began a steady pace to fill her channel. She was fixated on the cherry hue of Lena’s pussy accepting her girth and rubbed into the slick crest where her clit protruded.

Lena couldn’t hold back her moans and leaned on her elbows to watch Kara sink into her unprotected cunt. The number of risks she was taking were unprecedented and yet she believed wholeheartedly that everything Kara told her was true. She had always been cautious with past lovers, but the feeling of raw sex with Kara was too good to ever consider protection.

“Yes,” Lena gasped, and massaged her tits. “Exactly like the dream–”

In hindsight that was probably the wrong thing to say to a being that took things so literally. Kara pulled out and flipped Lena onto her knees to position her across the bed salaciously. With her ass up and her cheek pressed into a pillow, Kara got to see her in a stance nobody else ever had.

Lena barely had time to appreciate the pose before Kara rammed back into her cunt with a groan of pure indulgence. All of that pent up strength came out in the smack of Kara’s thighs and Lena’s jaw slackened from the vigorous pleasure. She keened into the sheets, airy and stifled with Kara’s fingers threading through her hair to take hold of the roots.

“Activate your pleasure center, Lena,” Kara commanded, and then corrected herself with a seductive growl to make up for her slip. “Touch your clit, Lena. I want you even wetter.”

Lena would berate the alpha later for that. She whined as she reached between her thighs to strum her clit with the free fingers. A strange, though erotic tingle spread through the nape of her neck and Lena groaned as she sensed Kara trying to pry into her subconscious. “What are you doing?”

“Learning what pleases you most,” Kara uttered, and bent low to scrape her teeth over Lena’s earlobe. “You like being a good girl, don’t you, Lena? Should I hold you down while you play with yourself and fill your cunt so you know you’re mine?”

Whatever Kara had tapped into was providing her with all the right things to say, and Lena was embarrassed by how effectively it turned her on. She pressed herself into the alpha just for the pleasure of being forced into the bed with every rapid thrust and gushed all down her own fingers.

Fuck, yes–”

“You want my mark on your throat and my seed in your pussy?” Kara asked with the right amount of aggression in the roll of her pelvis to make her bottom out. It wasn’t clear if she would actually do it, but there was confidence in her momentum that kept Lena pinned beneath her weight.

The insane urge to agree was on the tip of Lena’s tongue and she didn’t care about the consequences. If her entire life was upended by an alpha who would rail her like it was her life’s mission then Lena would gladly accept her blissful fate. She almost exhaled a yes, but it was lost in the sound of her orgasm as Kara latched onto her throat to suck at the tender place deserving of a claim.

Kara didn’t bite her, but the hot sensation was enough to trick her omega into releasing a wanton and feral scent that begged for sex. Though Lena’s heat wasn’t due for weeks, she felt it coming into full effect with the persistent slam of Kara’s cock striking against her cervix.

She had always wanted a mate who could be rough enough to make her submit while being inherently gentle so she always felt safe. It confused and comforted Lena to find that in Kara when they knew so little about one another. It didn’t matter to her omega, which responded so willingly to the dominant musk of Kara’s alpha that Lena held no doubts in her mind that the Kryptonian would successfully breed her every chance she got.

On some level that should have unnerved Lena, but with the constricting spasm of her walls and the guttural whisperings of Kara breathing, “Good girl,” into her ear, it felt too much like a dream for her to care.

“If I’m really yours, then prove it, Kara,” Lena grunted and turned her face to glimpse Kara’s enthrallment.

She looked enraptured by Lena, every muscle straining and moving with pure precision as she groaned and quickened her thrusts. There was no sweat on the alpha’s golden skin but she glowed in the fading sunlight which filtered through the window in beautifully broken rays.

“I will do anything, Lena,” Kara vowed, the steel cut of her jaw showing her determination as she submerged her cock faster than before.

Come inside me,” Lena commanded, unable to wait any longer for the hot ropes of seed to flood her passage. She wanted to experience Kara in all of her glory, even at the risk of getting pregnant.

Whether from excitement or the pressing need to fulfil Lena’s wishes, Kara grabbed at her slender waist and battered her thighs against Lena’s backside.

The slick slap of her pussy taking a pounding brought heat to Lena’s face, and she whined, long and high pitched at the rutting she received. Kara was better than the dreams of last night, and Lena contorted against the bed as the alpha flattened herself across her to bite at her neck.

Sharp pain faded to an all-consuming bliss that washed through Lena, and she quaked as Kara slotted herself base deep. She felt every strong pulsation race up Kara’s cock and whimpered at the unending blasts of cream that pooled against her cervix.

“Kara–your knot, please–”

Lena didn’t want to lose what Kara had just given her, and she frantically undulated to keep her mate all inside as she pleaded pathetically.

It was a trait she would find herself unable to shake every time they made love from that point on, and Kara would respond each time just as she did right then, by kissing away Lena’s whimpers and stretching out her pussy with a knot so large they would be unable to separate for half an hour.

I totally loved it

Thank you! ☺️

If it can work without jealousy. 👀 More power to them.

Kara just set a course for Earth and full on crashed her pod to get to Lena. After thinking things through a bit, I was like... yeah this isn't a scenario most people would appreciate, and then Lena's friends just leave them alone together. But hey, it's Kara. She exudes golden retriever vibes and who wouldn't trust that. Yeah! I think they would be great together as a trio. I died a little of secondhand embarrassment writing the bad dirty talk for Kara, and I wondered if it would ruin the mood but of course alien Kara needs lessons in how to get Lena off. Thank you! 😁

I could write alien-hiding shenanigans galore, plus Kara being a dork alien adapting to earth. 😁 There is! For EVERY fic. It's kinda unfair. Also awesome that you write fic! That'd actually be a super fun angle to explore, which I'll keep in mind for a possible continuation. That's another thing I could expand upon -- Sam, Alex, Kelly and their involvement in helping Lena hide Kara from the government. More banter and adapting to normal human life. Thank you!! ☺️

Thank you! I'm happy you enjoyed the execution of the prompt even though it veered slightly from "Kara thinks they're mated after they sleep together" to "Kara instantly thinks they're mated" 😂

That's trueeee, I didn't even get into the possibility of any kind of biological difference. 👀

😂💙

Thank you. 💙☺️

It's probably my favorite to write. I also really like drama sometimes but nobody needs that right now in this world. 😂 There could be a second chapter. It'd be fun to develop their relationship and then also allow Kara to get closer to Lena's found family. Thank you! 😁

I mean WHY NOT!!!! Alex had so many good (potential) partners that just makes sense to me!

Rocket

Bruh, you never disappoint 😊

I once read a supercorp fic where Alex is in a polyamorous relationship with Maggie, Sam, Kelly, and Andrea. 😂

Aw man Lena’s got all the luck! A sexy space alien drops out of the sky made perfect for you and is here to give you the best orgasms of your life some people just keep winning in life and really that’s Lena. Loved the comedy of finding out what Kara can do while struggling with their attraction. AND YOU EVEN PUT IN MY FAVORITE THRUPLE AHH!! I actually cheered at “both of Sam’s girlfriends” because YES!! HOW IT SHOULD BE!! And then Lena giving Kara a crash course in dirty talk was VERY hot. Loved this absolutely smashed it

Rocket

as with everything you've written you could create like 20 more chapters of this because i want like forty scenes of JUST alien-hiding shenanigans as well as lena being like "this is wrong but feels so right" every time they get close to each other haha i'm sure there's probably universes in your brain about what happens that don't make the cut because it's the same for me when i write my fics. but i'm so curious about the ~lore~ in this. like lena could totally be Cuckoo Enemy #1 for the government and it goes deeper etc etc just possibilities! other things i enjoyed: banter with sam, the name forgery with alex, the very smart language translator thing! and all of the vibes from their coupling lol anyway thanks for sharing this!

betty

Kara is super cute, love her

This was fun. I couldn’t help but imagine Lena asking for Kara’s knot at the end only for Kara to be confused if Kryptonians didn’t have those

HOLY CRAP----

Kirstin Leigh McWhorter

Thanks for sharing ;)

I love when you write comedy! This was really funny and sexy, perfect combo! I hope you do a second chapter, I'd like to see Kara trying to fit into earth more. Thank you for the story!
