Progress Update: 8/16/22

Progress continues to chug along. This will be a short progress update, as I simply want all of you to know that I'm hoping to finish the script by the end of next week. Music continues to be concepted as I write the script, as is the graphic design work, meaning a much shorter interval between finishing the script and the release of the video. We're now looking at a final release in the first half of next month.
Thank you all for being so patient; it's been a difficult development cycle for a variety of reasons, and I'm looking forward to doing a few much smaller videos after this one.
One thing you might notice is a slight change in the sound of the narration. This is because I've finally purchased an Audio Technica compressor microphone, at the recommendation of a friend of mine in audio engineering, which I've found captures much more of my vocal range.
I'll see you all again as soon as the script is completed.

It's okay guys, the video has been done and uploading since September 1st, Fredrik just made a small mistake. Instead of 5 hours, the video is actually 5 days long, and thus has taken several weeks to upload. Final release will likely be about a week before the heat death of the universe.

The mandatory increasing of the need to meet the mandatory increase of hype cannot be a good feeling. Seems to be a reoccurring issue in the YouTube content creation community. Well, aside from the opposite... feeling obligated to make subpar material meet a daily or weekly deadline. Thank goodness for the "subscribe button". Otherwise, people might forget to regularly check channels like yours. P.S.- Big fan of "The Battle of May Island" project. If it hadn't already been covered so well by Defragged History, I would have suggested one about the Kursk submarine sinking incident. You wanna talk about rabbit holes...
