DtRH RELEASE WINDOW: Progress Update: 12/15/21

Right now, myself, Ryan, and Arc are all focusing on our individual parts while we continue work. This, for me, is the difficult part: taking all of the information I've gathered and putting it into a script. This is often an arduous process, obsessively referring back to my sources to make sure that I make as few errors as possible, though I'll also have other people to look over the script once it's finished, something I haven't had before.

Most importantly for all of you, however, I have an approximate release window for the new Down the Rabbit Hole: early May. This is because the EVE Online Fanfest has just been announced for the 6th and 7th of May, and I'd like to have the video done in time for the event. I'm discussing with the planners of Fanfest to see if I can premiere it there, as well, then send it live on YouTube shortly after the screening. If I can't secure a slot with CCP, I'll still try to meet this release window because Fanfest is such a large event for EVE players and there will be a lot of hubbub around the game. Plus, I like the idea of people organizing their own watch parties during the event lol

In order to meet this deadline, Ryan is writing music as I write the script, and Arc is making assets that we know we'll need later. In particular, he's creating ship silhouettes and simplified starmaps to discuss fleet movements, battles, and territory control during phases of expansion and war.

Something I'd like to note for fun is that this is one of those episodes of Down the Rabbit Hole that starts in a place that seems to have absolutely no relevance to the topic at hand, but is intimately intertwined in a way that becomes clear after a few minutes. These are some of my favorite openings to write.
