For the more important board meetings at L-Corp, Lena dressed in fitted suit pants, double-breasted blazers and stiletto heels that let her tower over some of the members. Her fashion choices helped her to blend into the alpha-dominated environment and suited the frosty persona she hoped to project in their company. The night after she allowed Kara to knot her, Lena woke covered in the unmistakable scent of Supergirl’s alpha, and for a change, she stood in front of her closet deliberating over what to wear. Having Kara’s scent on her skin was just as good as wearing a power suit into the boardroom.
Lena pulled a soft maroon dress from her closet and set off that morning in her private car. She read the news on her tablet, drank her entire coffee on the ride up in the elevator, and settled into her usual seat with an air of authority about her.
The fourteen members of the board soon joined her in the spacious room, with Franklin Reed and Margaret Green taking the nearest seats, and Jonathan McConell positioning himself in the spot directly across from her so he could aggressively jot down notes within her line of sight.
Anthony White entered next and perched himself in one of the chairs at the end of the table, far from the thick of the drama.
The memo that Lena received by email claimed that this was a meeting about strategy – but it soon became apparent that all it concerned was her relationship with Supergirl.
“Hello and good morning to everyone,” opened the chairman, Henry Walsh, whose mild manner act couldn’t cover up his cunning personality. “It is an exciting time to working here at L-Corp. As we look to the next quarter, we’re seeing unprecedented levels of growth. It felt important to call this meeting to discuss our next steps. We’re of course continuing to work on our new Supergirl product line. The goal of our technologies has always been to even the playing field between humans and aliens, so our lead engineers are working on prototypes that will bring us one step closer to that—”
Walsh continued to ramble for a while, going over the lead designs and the basic plans for the roll-out with input from the marketing directors—but the conversation eventually came back to Lena.
Margaret Green slid her an envelope across the table, and Lena opened it to find a card enclosed. The lettering on the front read Congratulations on your claim!
Lena squinted at it and touched her pristine neck self-consciously before directing her confusion at the board, who had all signed and wished her well. “What is this? Don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the thoughtfulness, but Supergirl hasn’tclaimed me.”
“That’s why we haven’t thrown you a party yet.” Margaret laughed and swatted her on the arm like they were old friends. “Obviously Supergirl hasn’t made it official, but she will eventually, won’t she?”
The collective reek of alpha excitement was an irritant to Lena’s lungs. She could feel them leaning in on all sides, breathing Supergirl’s perfume off her skin.
“Look, we’re having a pup together, but I’m not the kind of omega who even wants an alpha’s claim on my neck—”
That seemed to be the wrong choice of words, since Anthony White’s face matched the color his last name. He paled even more and shuffled around papers as he cleared his throat. “What Lena means is that she’s still coming around to the idea of it.”
With the knowledge that Kara was Supergirl, that might have been true—but that didn’t stop Lena from getting agitated. She had tolerated the board’s interference in her personal life so far, yet forcing her to accept Supergirl’s claim was too meddlesome, too over the top.
“Supergirl currently has no plans to stake her claim to me,” Lena snapped and dared to let her omega pheromones invade into the space of the rotten stink of arrogant alphas. “Frankly my personal relationship is none of your business, and you can’t bully me into this. I’m still providing this company with what it needs - a good public profile—”
Anthony hopped onto his feet and hurried over to seize the attention of the board. “Really, folks, we should have known better than to bring up such a sensitive topic. We all know it’s an alpha’s job to ask the omega before staking claim. It’s up to Supergirl to decide when it will be time to complete their bond.”
Lena fully turned around to glare in disgust at Anthony and at his outdated rhetoric about alpha-omega roles. She pushed up from her seat to correct him, and she would have chewed him out in front of everybody if the wind hadn’t whipped around her face and Supergirl hadn’t appeared just in time to interrupt the board meeting.
“Supergirl, how wonderful to see you!” Margaret fawned and subserviently toned down her pheromones. “What are you doing here?”
“From time to time, I check in on Miss Luthor with my super hearing.” Kara postured with her hands near her shiny gold belt. “I heard my name. Is everything okay?”
Lena sucked in the Super’s pheromones, letting her chest expand and her head empty of outrage. “I’m fine. We just have some things to discuss. Alone. In my office.”
She grabbed for her belongings and stalked off without the courtesy of saying goodbye to anyone, and Supergirl plodded after her, leaving them all in awe. A few of the board members groveled as she walked by, congratulating Supergirl on recent heroics, but Lena was too busy thinking about how Kara knotted her the night before. Her cunt was still tender, her pussy lips sore from the stretch of it, and yet she was wet — her panties covered in a slick and viscous arousal from inside her vagina.
“So, how often do you monitor my board meetings with your super hearing?” Lena accused, treating Supergirl no different, though now she could see Kara’s nervousness under the hero’s confident exterior.
“A few weeks, maybe – probably ever since I started posing as your alpha,” Kara spat back, her chin loosening from its tight clench for just a second before sharply jutting out. “I’m responsible for your safety now, so don’t turn this into a fight.”
Lena settled in behind her desk as she released a quiet laugh of disdain at Kara’s words. “Then maybe don’t piss me off by assuming things – namely that I need you to protect me or that I’m going to start an argument.”
Had it not been for the terror and panic in Kara’s eyes, Lena would have been more infuriated. She knew Kara wanted to protect her, and given they had recently been under attack, she couldn’t fault her for any of this behavior — but Lena was getting impatient with waiting for Supergirl to come clean.
Any day, she expected her best friend to cave and disclose all of the information she wrote so eloquently in a letter.
“I’m sorry, Lena. I just – I’m worried something is going to happen to you, and I won’t be there to prevent it.” Supergirl paced while making her apology and swung around like she wanted to explain more of her fears. “We’re in the public eye now, and it’s dangerous. I didn’t think it would be this bad.”
Lena clasped her hands in front of her and wondered if she should be the one to reveal that she knew Kara’s secret.
It would take the pressure off, certainly, but it would lose meaning if Kara didn’t tell her herself. The was also the chance that Kara would decide not to tell her at all, but Lena refused to accept that. After taking Kara’s knot, she was sure it would happen within a matter of days.
“Speaking of being in the public eye, we have Cat Grant’s interview coming up, and she plans to take a tour of my penthouse.” Lena took a private delight in clicking onto a webpage where she had been browsing high-end clothing in Kara’s personal style. “I hope you don’t mind, but I’ve taken the liberty to fill up my house with personal effects that we can pretend belong to you. I mostly bought items that I thought my best friend Kara would like.”
Supergirl hunched over the desk to squint at the monitor, her jaw tense and brows furrowed while her eyes darted across the page to see all the items.
Lena imagined if the Kryptonian was able to sweat, she would have started right then. Instead the rest of her posture locked up and Kara nodded sharply with a strained little grunt of acknowledgement.
“I should bring some things over that are more, ah, me,” Kara muttered, no doubt meaning alien items that held significance to her in some way. She looked perplexed the longer Lena scrolled down the page, her throat quivering when she spotted not one, but three cardigans that would pair well with the shirts and pants already in the cart.
Lena waited for the confession, practically held her own breath in anticipation for it, and then glowered when the alpha stepped back with an overbearing scent to compensate for her treachery.
“It’s thoughtful of you to shop for me, but I doubt they’ll be going through your closets, and I really wouldn’t be okay with it if they did. My identity could be compromised. I’ll grab some of my own clothes and save you the trouble.”
“Neither of us has time for that. You’re constantly out there fighting crime, and I already purchased everything.” Lena stated, going so far as to point out a pair of pyjamas that looked identical to the ones Kara had worn a few nights prior.
The only real difference was the price of them and the quality of the cotton.
“Isn’t that a little inappropriate?” Supergirl’s shrillness brought the faintest smile to Lena’s lips, and she peered up at the hero with innocent eyes.
“What do you mean?” Her raised brow all but dared Kara to out herself over the sleepwear.
She waited to see the dilemma settle on Supergirl’s shoulders, and let the silence drag on uncomfortably as she floundered to explain her outburst.
“The—um—the price is outrageous! What will people think if all I wear is designer labels? I’m meant to be someone they can relate to, but this is—”
“Completely on brand for me, and since you’re meant to be my alpha, you’ll have to live with it,” Lena tersely argued, her attitude more apt for a fight than a discussion about clothes. “Is there anything else you want to get off your chest?”
For a precarious second, it wasn’t Supergirl looking back at her. The hesitation of breath, the pinch of her lips, the overwhelming sadness that sagged those strong shoulders. It was all Kara, and Lena almost felt sorry for the misery she was causing until the Super shook her head and sighed.
“I heard the conversation you had with the board regarding a claim party–”
Lena clasped her hands in front of her again and waited as Kara walked behind her to glance through the window at the high rises and nearest buildings. She stood up, folded her arms, and leaned into the desk as she delivered mixed messages with her pheromones. Her cunt went into a full spasm as she watched Kara restlessly jaunt about in frustration.
“You’re never going to claim me,” Lena whispered to spite the sexual tension in her body. “Our relationship is a physical one, but we don’t share an emotional connection. I have to be honest with you, Kara —”
She cut herself off, fixing her mistake by emphasizing, “Kara Danvers is the only person I would ever consider taking as a mate.”
Her near slip-up fortunately didn’t register to Supergirl, who reeked of inner conflict and stopped mid-stride.
Supergirl breathed her in, all of her yearning scents and hope, and Lena could feel how her words landed and stuck like Kryptonite darts in her best friend’s skin.
“I’m in love with my best friend,” Lena expressed, genuine tears gathering in her eyes as she willed Kara to trust her. “She came into my life at a time when I was very much alone. She sees the best in me, and no matter what happens—if we disagree, or if we have to face a million enemies and obstacles, I know she will always be on my side.”
“Lena, I–”
Supergirl moved her hands off her hips and snapped her mouth shut to stifle a confession of love. She seemed to remember at a delay that she couldn’t talk candidly, and her eyes shimmered like ice melting on a lake. She stood there not as Kara, the alpha who Lena loved, but as Supergirl.
“I will always be on your side, too, Lena.” Supergirl stepped forward, stilted and awkward as she stressed, “No matter what happens between us, I will always be here for you, and I promise I will do everything in my power to protect you and our future pups. You are so important to me, more than you’ll ever believe.”
The defeated stench on Supergirl didn’t mitigate the anger that Lena felt from Kara’s inability to tell her the truth. She could love her, all sides of Kara, if she would just let her in. Lena resented how close she had come to hearing her friend’s confession. Finding the letter only lifted the veil from her eyes to all the obvious signs she must have intentionally blocked out.
“Why is that?” Lena pressed with unflinching hostility. She raised her chin to stare at Kara’s alter-ego and demanded answers she wholeheartedly expected never to get. “Why am I, out of everyone in this city, so important to you?”
Either Kara would confide in her once and for all, or she would deflect the question with a fabricated emergency. Lena was so sure of it that she was taken aback by Supergirl striding forward to speak to her earnestly.
“Because I see the way you strive to always be better than the legacy of your family and it inspires me to do the same. The city might look to me for hope, but I look to you, Lena. I have since the moment we met—”
Lena thought she was about to be kissed with the way Kara reached out to clasp her face. It must have also looked that way to Anthony, too, because he lifted his hand dramatically as he walked into her office and blustered, “Oh, I didn’t mean to intrude.”
“You could have knocked,” Supergirl softly grunted out, her defensive pheromones driving Anthony back to the door. She dropped her hands from Lena’s cheeks and crossed her arms in irritation at being interrupted.
“I should have. I do apologize. It's just that the board was suggesting you might want to take the next few days off to concentrate on your upcoming interview. You’ll want to be well rested for the cameras.” Anthony peered at them both with a heavy and eager expectation that they would immediately rush out of the building. He sagged somewhat when neither of them seemed pleased with the news.
Rest was never a factor with the board’s intentions. They wanted Lena to fly off with Supergirl and spend every minute of her heat breeding. Conflicting emotions aside, it wasn’t necessarily a bad idea, but Lena refused to budge since she could see through the ploy. A way to control one more aspect of her life.
“I’ll consider the suggestion, but right now I have to meet with Kara Danvers to get a glimpse of the article she’s about to publish on my relationship with Supergirl.”
Out of the corner of her eye, Lena spotted the instant panic on Kara’s face, and slyly pranced over to her desk in dismissal of them both.
“I’ll just let you get on with business then.” Anthony cleared his throat and pulled at his bowtie before exiting with a nod of respect at Supergirl. “Have a good day.”
Lena pretended to be preoccupied with her emails while inconspicuously monitoring Supergirl’s steps across the floor. “You can stay if you’d like. After all, Kara is writing about us. It might be a good idea to talk to her together.”
She smirked as Kara’s spine straightened, her jaw firmed, and she postured despite the obvious dilemma of having to pass for two people.
“Actually, I spoke to Kara Danvers this morning and she asked me fly you home after your board meeting. She plans to meet you there.”
Lena decided to play along with the contrived story, if just to find out how Kara planned to juggle her personalities this time. She grabbed for a few folders and stood up to gesture that she was ready. “We should go now if that’s the case. My meeting with Kara was supposed to start five minutes ago.”
Huddling in close to Supergirl never felt so fraught with sexual tension. She blamed herself for letting Kara knot her the night before, and her omega begged to be knotted again as Supergirl lifted her off the ground. Every lurch and swoop went to Lena’s stomach, and she was pleasantly woozy with arousal as Supergirl set her back on her feet.
Lena teetered on the balcony as if drunk on a few glasses of wine. The symptoms of her heat colored her cheeks with a flirtatious tinge and she steadied herself with a hand pressed to Supergirl’s crest.
“That seemed faster than usual,” Lena murmured, in part to excuse the way she leaned into the alpha to inhale her pheromones.
If her cunt squeezed at the potency of Kara’s musk, she hoped it was obvious to her friend’s superior senses. For a being who could hear cries for help halfway across the continent, she would be able to hear how slick Lena’s panties were—the wet glide of the fabric caressing Lena’s pussy as she stepped back and let her gaze fall to the hem of Supergirl’s red skirt.
It rose steadily without the hindrance of Lena’s body to keep it tucked down, and Kara seemed flustered by the erection. She swished her cape around herself in a suave maneuver to open the glass door for Lena, then faltered on the threshold.
“Aren’t you coming?” Lena lilted with a perverse amusement at how Supergirl averted her eyes and backed off. “Kara is probably waiting at the door as we speak—"
“I should grab a few things, so it really looks like I live here,” Supergirl called out to Lena’s shoes. She was bent awkwardly with her cape practically swaddled around herself.
Kara was so intent on avoiding Lena’s haughty and judgmental raised eyebrow that she tripped on her own feet and fell ass backwards over the balcony.
Lena inhaled sharply, her panic justified by the fact that her mind was still coming to terms with how the woman she loved was really the alien who betrayed her trust.
“Ka–” She bit her tongue as the name almost rolled off of it and corrected herself quickly, “Careful!”
Supergirl shot into the air ten feet above her. She appeared bewildered and shaken, though it was beyond Lena as to why the Super would be scared when she was bullet proof.
“Wind must have caught my cape,” Kara fibbed and then sped off before Lena could point out there was barely a breeze.
If that was how Kara wanted to play it, then Lena would have to adapt in kind. She stalked into her kitchen, poured herself some scotch, and marched straight to the door of her apartment fully expecting that nobody would be there.
She imagined Kara would text some excuse about being late, then Supergirl would return with some items and leave.
Kara would miraculously appear right as Supergirl flew off, out of breath and ready to talk about the article like she hadn’t been there the whole time.
The calculations of how it would all go down stalled in Lena’s head when she wrenched open the door to find Kara nervously standing in front of her, box in hand.
The pinched expression on her friend's face threw her for a second, and Lena muttered in surprise, “You’re here.”
“Yeah,” Kara exhaled, as if she too couldn’t quite believe it.
“With a box?” Lena queried, her eyebrows drawn together in confusion as she stepped aside to let the alpha in.
Some latent part of her brain sensed where this was going, but the cynical side of her heart refused to acknowledge any hope. She followed Kara straight to the couch and waited as the alpha clutched the cardboard to her chest with a fraught look in her eyes.
“So, I’ve spent countless hours trying to fathom the best way to say everything that needs to be said. Literal months, wide awake in the middle of the night, with only you in my thoughts for company, and this,” Kara stated, her voice shaky and quiet as she pulled out a peculiar and intricate looking pyramid made of metal.
It was no bigger than a tennis ball, and with a light stroke of her thumb over an inscription, Kara activated it. The metal sides retreated, folding in on themselves unnaturally until all that remained was a small flat square and a dull, red glow that faintly pulsed. “This was the only thing I managed to grab when my parents woke me in the middle of the night to tell me I had to leave everything and everyone behind. On Earth, you call them night lights, but on Krypton, parents used to tell their children it was Rao watching over us, keeping us all safe.”
Kara placed the small light in her hands and continued to hold onto them. Lena clasped her palms around the luminous and fragile relic and took peace and comfort from looking down at it.
She had always thought she would be angrier just from hearing Kara’s confession, but in that moment, she envisioned a nursery with the Kryptonian night light next to a crib where their pup slept and dreamed. Her heart beat slower, calming from its furious to tick to a softer palpitation of pining.
“You must have felt so scared and alone,” Lena whispered and slid across the seat to cling to her best friend. “You never have to feel like that again because I’m not upset. I’m happy it’s you, Kara. I read your letter, but I wanted you to tell me about your secret on your own terms. I needed to know you could trust me. Now that you have, we can look to a future together as mates.”
All of the apprehension of an impending fight shook Kara’s body as it left her. She trembled uncontrollably as thick tears dripped from her lashes to wet the front of her shirt. The sense of relief she must have experienced came out as a shuddery sob, and a litany of apologies both in English and Kryptonese soon followed. She blubbered even as she dropped her box of belongings and curled herself into Lena’s arms — no longer the girl of steel, just an alpha who thought she was about to lose it all.
“I learned to see Earth as my planet, but it only became home when we became friends. I should have told you that I’m Supergirl, and I’m so, so sorry that I didn’t. I promise I’ll never keep anything from you ever again. I want you to know all of me, Lena, the way I know all of you,” Kara whispered, fierce and shaky against the claim spot on Lena’s throat. She kissed at the skin reverently, begging with her pheromones to be forgiven as she tucked herself into Lena, vulnerable, needy and without pretensions.
Lena pulled her close, keeping her arms tight around Kara’s back for as long as it took the alpha to feel reassured. She whimpered as Kara continued to kiss at her neck, from the crook under her chin down to the dip in her throat.
Soon they both reached to slip her dress off over her head, and Lena unclasped her bra to make it easier for Kara’s mouth to press more kisses to her breasts.
“I want to know all of you,” Lena gasped and rocked her hips in an insinuating plea for Kara to bring together the best of both worlds — the love and tenderness she had always known in their friendship, and the explosive sexual chemistry she shared with Supergirl. “Show me.”
Kara removed her belt, took off her shirt and stripped down to the white boxers that covered the extreme girth of her cock. Lena stared at it through the material, the bulk filling out the front of it.
It kindled a carnal sensation inside of her—a feeling in her core that had all to do with how it would feel when Kara pushed into those deep places.
“You’re going to take my knot every day until you’re carrying my pup, aren’t you, Lena? Your omega is begging to be knotted.” Kara’s straightforward and confident question took Lena by surprise, and she whimpered as her friend took her hand to press it across her erection.
It was completely different from how Kara would have reacted, the shyness of before replaced with the boldness of Supergirl. She cupped Lena’s cunt to feel the radiating warmth of her excitement and wasted no time in parting her labia.
Lena swooned at the skillful caress of Kara’s fingertips on her clit, featherlight and delicate. She opened her legs for the touch and gasped against Kara’s mouth when the alpha slid two fingers into her cunt.
The spread of her entrance reminded Lena of how sensitive she still was inside, and Kara seemed to enjoy the expressive ripple of her private silk. She pumped her fingers knuckle deep, and just as Lena began to steadily roll her hips for the penetration, Kara pulled out and freed her cock.
The impressive tip was already beaded with arousal, and Lena bit her lip as Kara smeared slick over her length to lubricate it generously. The shaft throbbed, and Lena whined as Kara moved them to the bedroom. She knew what Kara wanted without uttering a single word and presented her cunt like an obedient and eager omega.
“Rao, the power you hold over me,” Kara rasped, and sank to her knees between Lena’s thighs with a groan of longing. She rubbed into her cunt with the broad glans of her cock and pushed through the warm clench of Lena’s tight opening.
The initial stretching was more drastic than any time before, and Lena wondered if it was due to the knot from the previous night or Kara’s changed level of comfort with her.
Kara hoisted her up by the thighs, positioning her for the thrusts that separated her inner walls. Lena sprawled across the bed and pressed a hand to her belly where the deep drilling of Kara’s cock stopped at her cervix. Her pussy lips soon dripped with seed, even though Kara never paused her powerful bucks.
“Did you come already?” Lena gasped and placed a hand between her legs to gather up the thick glaze. The voluminous amount of cream ran between her fingers and Kara charged her hips harder as if desperate to give her a full cunt.
“Yes, and you’re going to take so much more,” Kara groaned, proud of her quick release, as if it proved how virile she was to Lena’s omega. She didn’t have to hold back any longer because she knew firsthand what Lena could handle.
Kara seemed determined to push Lena to every limit she possessed and bottomed out at a pace even Supergirl hadn’t used.
Her pelvis struck Lena’s cunt and the tender partition of her lips where her clit was exposed to the brunt of it. Lena undulated to increase the friction, her muscles clinging to Kara’s shaft with slick spasms of excitement that curled her fingers and toes.
The noise of her pleasure would have been louder if Kara hadn’t stifled it with a kiss so heated and dominant that Lena submitted in the most carnal of ways, through an orgasm.
Kara cupped her chin as their tongues entangled and Lena’s pussy clamped in drawn-out spasm. She whimpered pathetically into Kara’s open mouth and forced her hips forward. Their motions brought her climax to another height, one that made her shake and lose coordination.
“God, fuck yes, please keep thrusting,” Lena whined, and parted her tense thighs, letting them tremble wildly from pleasure.
She bent her legs up and locked her arms around them as Kara pulled out and stared down at the seed in her opening. Her entrance quivered under Kara’s eye, begging for sexual fulfillment.
“It’s sexy when you’re this confident,” Lena breathlessly acknowledged, her cunt still twitching for Kara’s touch. “Even though I hated your arrogance as Supergirl, you bred me like an animal, and I loved it.”
“Being Supergirl gave me a way to express things I would never allow myself to think as Kara,” The alpha confessed without apology. She released a stronger wave of pheromones that acted in tandem with her dominant energy and kept Lena supine and bared. “Having control of filling your cunt really tapped into some of my selfish desires, but you already knew that, didn’t you? It’s why you liked pushing my buttons, because I’d channel all my frustration into breeding you relentlessly, and your omega craved that.”
Kara didn’t give her the chance to refute the claim and thumbed at Lena’s clit until the powerful vibrations traveled through Lena’s supple thighs.
She fell heavier into the bed, her fingers digging into her pale skin as she tried to keep her legs up to flaunt the contractions of her entrance. Every sporadic clench simultaneously forced seed to spill out and pleaded for Kara to give her more.
The creamy rivulets pooled between her ass cheeks and Kara made a lustful sound that tapered off to a growl. She flipped Lena onto her stomach and curled an arm beneath her hips to raise her into a bend meant for true mates before slotting her cock into the heated depths of her channel with one rough push.
In spite of the clash of their thighs, Kara’s hands were sensuous as they roamed her hips and waist. She held onto Lena firmly and caressed the divots of her lower back with both thumbs.
The contrast in sensations played into every fantasy of Kara being the one making love to her while Supergirl fucked her senseless.
Lena opened her mouth in a silent whimper from the sting of Kara’s thighs striking her ass cheeks. Her face rubbed against the comforter from the total movement of her body, and she succumbed to Kara’s thrusts, weightless and free. The slipperiness between her thighs could
have lubricated a water slide, and her rutted out cunt was contracting as if knot-ready.
She moaned as the glans of Kara’s cock battered at her cervix and her fingers curled to find purchase on the sheets. Kara still clutched at her waist and touched her tenderly in between the loud smacks of sex.
“I want your teeth on my neck, even if you don’t claim me tonight. Bruise me so I feel like your omega.” Lena guided her mate’s hands as Kara shifted downward and into a closer position.
Kara bit the nape of her neck while pumping another abundant release into her heat-slick pussy. Her teeth pressed into the skin just shy of breaking into her claim-barrier, and Lena convulsed from the hormones and ecstatic sensations of the mark.
“Oh, I love you, Kara,” Lena gasped and pulled Kara’s hand underneath her to the soft plane of her stomach. “For me, it’s always been you. Please rut me hard. Give me a very full pussy, give me your pup.”
Either the confession of love or the request for a pup brought Kara to an orgasmic expulsion, and she groaned unabashedly into the crook of Lena’s neck. The strength in Kara’s quads rocked them across the bed, and Lena hung over the side with her ass up, her palms pressed against the floor for leverage.
“I should have told you sooner. We would already have pups by now, and you would still beg me for another.” Kara said it like it was the truth, and Lena felt it inside her cunt as she pulsed in stronger contractions of agreement.
Kara’s airy grunts fast became sultry and dulcet tones of ecstasy. Lena wanted Kara to say such dirty things with conviction – to know that deep down, in spite of her intelligence and all she accomplished, taking a raw pounding from her alpha would always be her first priority. With Kara’s expanding knot base stretching out her vulva and the warm gush of slick aiding the penetration, Lena knew that her mate would understand.
They could have a whole bunch of pups and Lena would gladly get on all fours and still beg Kara to breed her like it was their first time.
Kara moved her onto the bed and slipped a hand up her back to position her upright. “You’re going to look so beautiful with my mark on your throat, Lena. All of National City will know you’re the only one in all the galaxy that I want.”
Lena sat astride Kara’s lap, her cunt poised above the grand and plump helmet of her cock, and the alpha stared right into her eyes.
“The only one I’ll ever love,” Kara whispered, so sincere and soft that Lena grabbed her by the face to taste her lips while she slid onto her rigid cock.
Her cunt pressed down on the enormous knot, and the shaft prepared her slick little opening for the much wider girth. She moved her knees off the mattress to spread her narrow entrance on Kara’s thick erection. It pulled her labia taut, stretching them to the extreme as she bounced.
Lena kissed with an open mouth, inhaling the softness of Kara’s breath as she rode on the entirety of her cock, knot and all. She grunted as it entered her completely and continued her pelvic motions to let it fill her. Her jaw shook from the internal pressure of grinding the enlarged base against the sensitive places inside of her.
“Your cock feels so good inside of me, stretching me out.” Lena glanced between her thighs and knew that she would have to work harder to take a knot like Kara’s on a frequent basis.
She slid up and down on it despite the slight twinge of her pussy lips as they accommodated the excessive bulk.
Bearing down on Kara’s knot brought a rosy flush to Lena’s face and she exhaled breathy sounds of pleasure. She placed her palm over her middle and undulated with the intent to keep Kara in deep.
Kara flexed the muscles of her thighs to bounce Lena gently. The subtle penetration massaged into her walls and Kara’s shaft thickened to keep her open and receptive for seed. The bliss of it relaxed Lena’s jaw even as it tightened her core, and she let Kara take full control of her body.
Lena tipped her head back and held onto Kara’s broad shoulders as the alpha rocked her intently on the large knot-base of her cock. The intimacy of their love making stemmed from the knowledge that Kara trusted her completely, and she threaded her fingers through Kara’s golden hair to bring their mouths together again.
They swapped moans, hushed and reverent as Kara cupped her breasts and teased her nipples with the warmth of her tongue. The hot constriction of Lena’s chasm convulsed as Kara slid two fingers over her clit.
“Don’t stop, fuck, I’m going to come–”
Kara’s groan drowned out Lena’s cry as they came together, sweaty and breathless. The knot inside her pussy throbbed and pulsed and Lena swayed from the euphoria of being filled. Kara’s seed seemed never ending, and Lena settled her palm between her thighs to feel the excess as it tried to escape.
She barely registered Kara’s sweet words, the soft utterance of I love you that she would have reciprocated if she was able to speak at that moment. Lena went limp in her mate’s arms and curled into her chest. Her labored breaths fell in time with Kara’s until the synchronicity of their bodies convinced her they were two halves of the same soul merging into one.
They stayed like that for most of the night, with Kara’s knot refusing to abate and Lena’s clenched entrance forbidding them to part.
Sleep won out eventually, and Lena experienced the simple pleasure of waking up to the love of her life sprawled out beside her in bed.
She cuddled up to Kara to watch her sleep, and admired the sight of her tanned, muscular arms that flexed as she dreamed. It would have been a quiet morning had it not all come to an end with a loud knock on the door.
Kara sprang up so fast she took the sheets with her and postured at the foot of the bed with her fists raised, dazed and erect and still gloriously nude.
“I don’t think whoever is out there means any harm, but if you want to answer like that, I won’t stop you,” Lena teased as she retrieved a robe from her closet to sling over herself.
Lena lifted an amused brow and motioned to the closet where all of Kara’s new clothes awaited.
“Oh, wow, yeah I should—” Kara whirled like a small tornado, ruffling the sheets and curtains as she dressed in two seconds flat. She looked composed and perfect, and Lena was only the slightest bit envious of how fast she could put herself together. “Let me get that.”
“I’ll come with you. If it’s anyone from the board, you have my permission to set their suits on fire,” Lena lilted, only somewhat serious as she stepped in front of Kara to open the door.
“Finally.” Cat Grant sighed. “We’ve been waiting here for three minutes. Which is two and a half more than I gave the Dalai Lama.”
Lena balked at the sight of her, and she felt Kara tense by her side as the media mogul shooed them both away from the door. “Well, don’t stand there gawking, or the camera crew will never get set up in time.”
“You weren’t due here until two o’clock,” Lena accused as she backed out of the path of a cameraman that toted a hard case of equipment over his shoulder. A sound tech and two assistants followed him without a word, and Cat Grant stalked forward with a hawkish squint to get her first look at Lena and Supergirl’s apartment.
“The tell-all starts at two, and you’ll thank me later for this chance I’m providing you both,” Cat informed them both with a critical pause at Lena’s mussed hair and robe. She turned her attention onto Supergirl’s blue button down and green pants that looked remarkably like the ones Kara favored and Lena felt a stab of unease at the silent judgement.
“Which is?” Supergirl asked from behind Lena, her hand casually finding her hip.
“To observe you in your natural habitat while my crew snoops around for all of the cutesy shots of your belongings together. It will paint the picture of the lifestyle you ought to be living as a real couple,” Cat stressed with a pointed glance at each of them. The meaningful eye contact she shared with Kara for once wasn’t lost on Lena.
“We are a real couple, which is why I’ve opened my home to you,” Lena shot back, finding some of her nerve that she used with the board. It would have held more weight if she had been in her heels and wearing more than last night’s make-up.
“Mm, and to the world, and we’ll be watching you both very closely,” Cat reminded them with a thin and calculated smile. She seemed to be pleased with the fear she sent through each of them, and when neither ran off, she rolled her eyes and drawled, “You’re about to be broadcast across the nation. The least you could do is get dressed for the occasion.”
Lena tightened her robe around her waist and returned to her bedroom immediately to prepare for the interview. It bothered her that their morning was rushed and she no longer had the chance to talk to Kara in private, but she smiled to herself as she realized they would have time after it ended, and every day from that point onward.
She showered, washed her hair and blow dried it in front of her mirror while remaining conscious of the time. Her dress hung on a hook by the door, and she sensed someone’s eyes on her as she took it down.
Kara stood behind her, no longer in the smart pants and shirt, but once again in her full superhero garb. “Miss Grant felt it would be better to wear the suit.”
“I suppose people are accustomed to seeing you in that.” Lena crooked her finger, inviting Kara closer for a kiss, which became much heavier and salacious the moment she slipped in some tongue.
Stepping into a dress shouldn’t have felt as erotic as taking one off in front of her mate, yet with Kara’s assistance it sent heat through Lena. The lightest touch of fingers and fabric trailed up her calves and ass, and Kara palmed her backside while Lena shimmied into the expensive garment. The warmth of the alpha’s breath on her neck evoked a pleasant and expectant shiver to trickle down Lena’s spine. She never expected to be so breathless from Kara zipping her up, and when they parted, she had to place a hand on Kara’s skirt to stop the fabric from rising with her libido.
“The one drawback of this outfit it seems,” Lena intoned as she quested beneath the red skirt to graze the very tip of Kara’s erection. She wore pretty little red boxers beneath it, not that they helped in any way to conceal something so large and prominent.
Kara shuddered at the faint stimulation, her hips jerking forward even as she tried to step back. It was a sight Lena couldn’t get enough of, how easily Supergirl melted in her hands. “I’d call it a benefit if people weren’t in the next room with sound equipment.”
Kara’s laugh seemed pained, and Lena understood why as her mate tried to soothe her arousal by blowing a blast of icy air southward. It froze the front of her skirt and Kara winced like she had done this many times before rather than take a cold shower.
“Is this how you control yourself around me?” Lena asked through a smirk. “All the times I’ve heard you sigh–”
“Oh, that’s definitely not part of the tell-all.” Kara’s flustered complexion and tense smile alluded to the lengths she must have gone to in order to function around Lena. She motioned toward the door to stop Lena from asking anything else, and her pleading scent shifted to a more dominant and assertive musk as she waited for Lena to step out.
Cat Grant had situated herself on a chair, and Lena noticed that half of her furniture had been moved around to make space. Some of the alien artifacts that Kara had brought over last night were now staged in full view next to Lena’s own tech, and she marveled at how natural it looked together.
Lena took the spot that was clearly meant for her on the couch facing Cat Grant and waited a minute for Kara to be seated right beside her. The only sign of the alpha’s nerves was the soft intake of breath that moved the hair near her face. They smiled at each other, and Lena stuck out her hand to clasp Supergirl’s without noticing how knowingly Cat stared at them.
The camera man held up his hand and silently counted down from five. The room fell silent, and Lena squeezed at Kara’s hand in reassurance when she sucked in a deeper breath that ruffled the notes in Cat’s hand.
“Good afternoon, America, I’m Cat Grant and today I sit here with two of the most influential women in National City. When news broke of their relationship, some were elated while others were stunned. No matter what your take on it was, we all have questions, and I’m here today to get the answers.”
Kara fidgeted with the side of her cape, and Lena tensed her jaw in preparation for the grilling about to take place. Whatever happened, there would be nowhere to hide, and Lena resolved to put her entire heart into the interview not just to save face, but to take the pressure off Kara.
“Lena Luthor, you were the last person I ever thought would want a relationship with a Kryptonian, given your family's history. Aren’t you concerned that Lex’s followers will come after you to find out Supergirl’s secret identity?” Cat posed the question succinctly and yet left a lot unsaid as she pinned Lena with a fierce look. She waited with her brows raised and wrote something on her notepad when Lena sat forward.
“Let me be clear, I don’t know Supergirl’s secret identity. Lex will forever be a thorn in my side regardless of what happens. I’ve dealt with assassination attempts long before I came to National City, and that had nothing to do with who I was dating.” Lena’s calm eloquence went a long way in selling her lie to the camera, but she could see that Cat wasn’t buying it.
“Do you really expect the people of National City to believe you’ve entered into a serious relationship without knowing your partner’s real name? Are we supposed to assume you call her Supergirl in your everyday life?”
“I prefer to call her darling above all else,” Lena supplied with a soft and besotted smile that she directed to Kara, who brightened and blushed with unmistakable adoration. “Anyone in a relationship knows that terms of endearment work just as well as saying one another’s name. How we speak to our mate is often the first step in how we relate to them.”
Cat appeared impressed by her answer, even if she squinted at them both like she knew it was bullshit. She made another note on her pad and set her sights on Supergirl. “As National City’s beloved hero, do you condone keeping secrets from your mate? Don’t you take a stand against dishonesty every day just by putting on that cape?”
“I certainly don’t condone telling lies,” Kara sputtered, her eyes wide and face white as she fumbled for a second.
Lena infused the air with a calming omega perfume, and Supergirl lost some of her rigidity as she sighed, “As a couple, we’ve discussed the potential risks of Lena knowing my identity. Though I have made several attempts to disclose that information to her, she’s made it clear that she would rather not know. The hazards would be too great.”
Cat pressed a pen to her lips and narrowed her eyes at them. “And what will you do if you decide to have a pup? Will that child also call you Supergirl?”
Kara never got the chance to field that question, because she cocked her head to the side and winced in response to a noise that was beyond everyone else’s range of hearing. She got onto her feet and glanced apologetically at Lena as she readied herself to fly off. “There’s been a major incident at a school close by. I have to go help—”
Lena barely had the chance to nod before Kara shot through the nearest window. She expected that to end the interview, but she glimpsed the long list of questions in Cat Grant’s hands and how the veteran reporter was still awaiting an answer.
“We haven’t discussed it yet, but I assume our pup will call us both mom.” Lena blinked at the note of condescension in her own voice, unintentional but still a tad too smug.
She anticipated a deep-cutting rebuke from Cat Grant, based on how she glared at her—except their interview was interrupted by the sound of someone blowing her door off its hinges.
Dust and debris created a cloud that obscured the attackers as they rushed into her apartment. Lena didn’t need to see their masked faces to know this was an orchestrated kidnapping attempt. She dropped to her knees not in fear, but in preparation to grab the tech she stashed beneath her coffee table for situations like these. She had just clutched it to her palm when a smoke grenade exploded in her hallway, and Cat Grant let out a shriek as someone grabbed her from behind.
Lena sprang up, extending a metal rod with a click to activate charged spikes that sparked with electricity. She would have swung it if Cat hadn’t stabbed the thug’s hand with her pen no less than three times and scrambled out of his reach.
“That was a gift from President Marsden. Remind me to thank her later,” Cat rasped, extending her arms to shove Lena to safety as a gunshot rang through the building.
The cameraman still filmed the chaos, even as he kicked at a goon who lunged for them. One of the technicians swung a boom mic to trip an attacker as they tried to locate Lena.
“I have a safe room, a walk-in closet–” Lena blurted as they huddled in the kitchen.
“Good, go there, and take my crew with you,” Cat instructed and ignored the knives in the cutting block in favor of grabbing the kettle. She gripped it like she planned to fight everyone off and peeked over the counter just for Lena to drag her back down.
“And leave you here to defend yourself? Absolutely not! We all go or none of us do,” Lena hissed, already fumbling with her phone as she tapped into her apps to activate lights and music to disorient the goons.
Curtains closed and opened in different rooms and the fire alarm in her building went off, sending them all in different directions.
“I see why she loves you,” Cat assessed in a clipped tone and slung the kettle with both hands into a man’s face as he leapt over the countertop. He groaned in pain and reared back to throw a punch at Cat, but his fist struck Lena’s weapon instead as she blocked him.
He jerked and shook as several hundred volts lit up his veins and Lena let him drop with a thud as she exhaled, “This way, hurry!”
They moved as a group through the kitchen and towards Lena’s room, where the bed was still in disarray from all of their rutting. The scent of Supergirl’s alpha was most potent here and Lena drew it into her lungs for strength as she opened the closet to access a hidden panel on her wall. She typed in a code that slid back the rack of her dresses to reveal a hi-tech secret room that she urged the crew to enter.
Cat frantically pushed her employees in first, then tried to coax Lena in when she hesitated to join them. “We get it, you’re a hero. Now hide before my next feature is an obituary piece—”
“I can’t. There’s something important I need to find before they do,” Lena stressed as she frantically searched for the Kryptonian night light Kara had brought with her. She wouldn’t let those fools get their hands on it. They would likely destroy it before their pup ever got to see its radiance. “Supergirl has lost enough. She won’t be losing this, too.”
“You’re both as reckless as one another,” Cat snapped, and hit the button to seal the door on her crew to keep them safe. She followed Lena in her hectic pursuit, opening drawers and lifting perfume bottles until she thought to ask, “What exactly are we looking for?”
“The last piece of Krypton that Supergirl has from her childhood, the one thing she could take before her whole world imploded,” Lena uttered, making a shape with her hands as she blurted, “Shaped like a pyramid. It looks like a metallic—”
“Coffee table,” Cat asserted through clenched teeth as a thug burst through the bedroom door.
Lena tossed a robe over his face to blind him and Cat reacted impulsively by smashing a lamp over his thick head.
Lena let out a soft, scoffing laugh as the media mogul shrugged, and they both trampled over him as they scurried down the hallway.
Lena nearly fell headfirst over a ruined chair as she made a desperate lunge for the artifact. She rolled as she hit the floor and curled behind the couch as footfalls sounded through her apartment.
“Other than the significance of it being a memento, what is this?” Cat asked as Lena cradled the deceptively delicate-looking object between her palms.
“A night light,” Lena confided, sensing immediately that she shouldn’t have mentioned that as Cat stared at her with wide, incredulous eyes.
“We’re risking our lives for a lightbulb,” Cat griped in anger and slipped her heels off to throw one at a man who tried to sneak up behind them. It cracked him across the nose, and he yelped in pain before Lena decked him with a closed fist.
“Technically it’s a symbol of Rao’s light, and the only company Supergirl had for years when her pod was stuck in the phantom zone,” Lena argued as she helped Cat onto her feet.
They tiptoed through the wreckage of Lena’s apartment, and towards the gaping hole that used to be her front door. Inches from escape, a thug appeared with a gun, and Lena’s scream drowned out his sudden cry of agony.
Cat flung her arm out to shield Lena at the same time a heavy and thick mist of pepper spray covered the entirety of the goon's head. He clawed at his own face to try and get it off and Lena gasped as their savior stepped into view.
“Well, it seems I’m a little late to the party,” Lillian snidely assessed and ushered them both into the hallway like a member of the secret service.
“What are you doing here? Did you plan this?” Lena’s shock robbed her of her intelligence and Lillian drew her a look of disbelief.
“If I was behind this, it would have a certain finesse,” Lillian gloated, herding them into a stairwell as the power in the building went out. “What did you think would happen when you refused to heed my warning about going ahead with this relationship? Everyone who loathes you or Supergirl will be after you to find out her identity. And don’t act like you’re clueless. This puts you in danger.”
“As a matter of pride, I tend to condemn anyone who agrees with a known terrorist, but I’ll make a rare exception,” Cat sang out as they ran to the next floor of the building. “This may be the only occasion in which you should ever listen to your mother.”
Lena took all of their chastisement in stride as they descended flight after flight of stairs. The exit was ahead of them, and Lena grabbed for the knob just to gasp as Alex burst through the door in full tactical gear.
“Lena — it’s me. You’re safe now.” Alex peered warily over Lena’s shoulder at Lillian and kept her gun drawn. “Sort of.”
“My mother just popped in to let me know I’m in danger.” Lena lifted a shoulder in a weak shrug and glanced down at the Kryptonian object in her hands. “Any word from Supergirl?”
“She’s still at the school. Someone started a fire, and a lot of people would have gotten hurt if she hadn’t been there to save them.” Alex gestured for everyone to follow her out into the street where her armored car was parked.
Lillian hesitated at the curb and slipped her hands into the pocket of her cashmere coat. “I’m not getting in your car.”
“Unless you want Supergirl to airlift you, yes you are,” Alex insisted and signaled to one of the agents beside her to get ready to manhandle Lillian if need be.
“Well, if she’s going then so am I,” Cat cut in and flicked her fingers for Alex to step aside so she could slip into the vehicle beside Lena.
“With all due respect, Miss Grant, you can’t come with us,” Alex muttered under her breath.
Nobody, least of all Alex, expected Cat to size her up with a shrewd and unwavering stare just to snarl coldly, “Listen here Agent Attitude, I don’t know who you think you are, but I did not just fight my way out of a billionaire’s penthouse and run down seemingly endless flights of stairs to what I thought would be the bowels of hell to get my story just for it to end here. I’m surprised I never met Satan himself on the way down, and if I had, even he wouldn’t be able to stop me. So if you think you’re getting in the way of me escorting Miss Luthor to whatever seedy and secretive operative group you’ve got going on, you have another thing coming.”
Alex blinked at the forceful reprimanding and shared a look with Lena that translated to holy shit. She cleared her throat to recover from being chewed out and grudgingly relented by standing aside so Cat could take the seat next to Lena.
“I suppose after all of that I might as well tag along,” Lillian dryly stated and sniffed in disdain as she accompanied her daughter into the unmarked car.
They sped off and Lena stared out the window the entire time, hoping for a glimpse of Kara.
She expected more from the D.E.O. than to be escorted to a seat and left to fret for over an hour, but that was what happened upon their arrival. Winn Schott came down a staircase and ushered Cat Grant off, and Alex chatted with her mother in private before they all reconvened.
Supergirl touched down on the top landing, and it was her appearance that brought everyone back to the control center. Lena hurried into her mate’s arms, and she no sooner closed her eyes in relief than Alex shattered their peace with an announcement.
“Today we defended the city against several attacks, and we still don’t know who orchestrated them all. One thing is abundantly clear: their goal wasn’t just to cause terror. They hoped to kidnap Miss Luthor and torture her into revealing Supergirl’s identity.”
Lillian scoffed from the back of the crowd and swung her eyes towards Lena. “It’s one of the board members of L-Corp who’s in cahoots with Lex. Your brother raised a pod of baby truthseekers for your interrogation.”
“Which member is it?” The tone Supergirl used wasn’t the calm, kind one she had for justice. It was rough and angry, a partially formed snarl that caught in the back of her throat with the implication that she would destroy them personally.
“If I knew that, they would be dead already,” Lillian informed them candidly. She stared at Supergirl with distrust, and her upper lip curled in offense at the sight of her arms wrapped around her daughter. “All of this could have been averted if you had just picked her journalist persona as your mate in the first place.”
“You knew this whole time?” Lena gasped, not quite in anger, but annoyance that her mother of all people had known Kara’s identity first. She turned to Kara, who looked just as stunned, and held onto her tighter as Cat Grant approached.
“Oh please, a pair of cheap spectacles isn’t exactly a disguise,” Cat imparted with a slant of her lips and narrowed eyes. “Obviously I’m not about to disclose my protégé’s identity. The tell-all and accompanying article will reflect that Miss Luthor doesn’t know Supergirl’s identity, but that won’t make you any safer if anyone gets their nasty little hands on you.”
“Which is why, after a lot of consideration, J’onn and I have found a resolution,” Alex disclosed quietly, as if she already understood the push-back she would receive for even mentioning it. “Neither of you will like it, but it will keep you both safe while we figure out which board member is behind this plot.”
“No—not that, I won’t let you,” Supergirl snapped, her jaw locked and chest heaving like she might at any second take flight with Lena.
“Kara, it’s the only way,” Alex whispered and raised her hands like she hoped to talk her down from any impulsive decisions she might make.
“Would someone please clue me in?” Lena asked with a moderately grumpy glance between Kara and her sister.
“We need to wipe your memory of Supergirl’s identity,” Alex stated sorrowfully.

Yes! This is definitely one I want to continue soon.
2023-02-20 12:21:21 +0000 UTCWhat's next? There is going to be a part 6?
2023-02-20 06:00:43 +0000 UTCLol. 🙂
2023-01-15 13:32:58 +0000 UTCwey yaaaa
2023-01-15 10:33:56 +0000 UTCOkay I'M not ready, lol If I tell you I re-re-read every single one And I had to re-word what I said what if something goes wrong with wiping Lena's memory and she doesn't remember Kara...at all Like trying to figure out why this Blonde wall of Muscle keeps wanting to talk to her and then she's pregnant 😩👀 I Know...I know Whatever you come up with, will be amazing and will have me in my feels once again ✨🥺💜
2022-07-22 07:12:29 +0000 UTC😊 I spent a whole lotta time on this chapter, so thank you again. 💙❤️💙❤️
2022-05-15 22:26:12 +0000 UTCTHANK YOU!! 😁
2022-05-15 21:25:14 +0000 UTCNot at aallll, I hope the re-read was worthwhile! I didn't know if I was going to just wrap this one up or do what I wanted with it, and I decided to do what I want. So it's going to be some drawn out drama and oh yeah that is a concern, isn't it? Lena took Kara's knot, not Supergirl's. ☺️ I'm excited for this! Hoping to finish it up over the next couple of months.
2022-05-15 21:25:00 +0000 UTCOh yeah, hold the celebratory dance... we're gonna be here a while. And I just want to go full on drama (with comedy, of course) for this fic. Thank you!!
2022-05-15 21:22:31 +0000 UTC☺️ A good sort of devastation, then! I'm glad! 😂
2022-05-15 21:21:38 +0000 UTCIs it crazy, That I went back and re-read all four chapters first to make sure I didn’t miss anything !!! But 😩 I knew they were gonna have to something drastic to protect Kara and Lena as well & I’m like 👀 if and when Lena’s memory is erased is she gonna think she’s pregnant by Kara since technically she won’t remember supergirl I can’t wait to find out 🥺✨😱😏
2022-05-11 19:05:34 +0000 UTCI. Am. Screaming. My celebratory dance at Kara’s reveal was for nothing. That ending hurt. It cut me real deep. Fucking fantastic update as usual!
2022-05-10 21:34:52 +0000 UTCOh you are so brilliantly clever I’m sure you’re going to make it worth our while no doubt 😁👍🏻
2022-05-10 15:29:33 +0000 UTCnoooooo🥺 ending completely devastated me. theyyy juuust got together. it burns so good 😩🧍🏽♀️
2022-05-10 12:59:23 +0000 UTCI'm sorry about that. ☺️ Somewhat. Thank you!
2022-05-10 12:56:22 +0000 UTCI'm glad it was a surprise! 😁 I feel like everything would have been sooo good had Cat Grant still been on the show, and then they introduced Lena... if only. I really enjoyed writing their fight scene and Cat will be in the story going forward since she brings levity to the drama. About Lillian: going with her season 2-3 personality, where she's not opposed to kidnapping Lena herself but also doesn't want other people messing with her or hurting her daughter. Thank you!!! ☺️
2022-05-10 12:54:26 +0000 UTCI'm really happy to hear that! I know several of you have been waiting on more of this one. I just wanted to make sure I had the right plot. It would have gone differently had I written this months ago, but I know what I want to do now and where I want to take it (and that has changed a couple of times). Yeah, they're all happy and in love, and I'm going to complicate it, but it'll be funnn! I promise. The roller coaster will continue - but also, fluff, yes. ☺️ Thank you!! ❤️💙
2022-05-10 08:10:46 +0000 UTCIt took me a little while to consider how to proceed with this one and I don't think it would have turned out the same way had I written this sooner. It probably would have gone in a totally different direction that I would be less satisfied with in the end. I really wanted Kara to tell Lena the truth because at this point (with all of the mating and future pup), there's no justifiable reason to continue lying. **Except for safety-purposes, now with Lex & the board after them.** The night light felt like the perfect way for Kara to confess, not just because it brings up all that she's been through but also because it would make Lena think of future babies. ☺️ I really want Cat to have a role in this story! I loved including her in a fight scene because of the snark. I'm happy about it too! I was going to put a note at the top of the chapter like "stay tuned for surprises at the end" but it's more fun when everyone's unsuspecting of plot. 😂 Thank you!!!
2022-05-10 08:01:18 +0000 UTCI was caught in between a place where I wanted Kara to tell her the truth, but I also didn't want that. I could have continued with Lena only having the knowledge of Kara's identity (without Kara's confession), building a tension around all of that, but Lena would eventually become bitter. So this really is the best of both worlds, because they experienced the sweet confession and sweet bonding and now I get to play around with a mind-wipe. But don't worry - it's going to be fun, I swear. 💙 ❤️I'm doing pretty good, thank you! I hope you're well and everything is going wonderfully for you. ☺️
2022-05-10 07:50:36 +0000 UTC☺️
2022-05-10 07:40:05 +0000 UTCYou lifted me up so high, only to tear me down farther than ever before. Ouch. Thanks for sharing ;)
2022-05-10 01:57:11 +0000 UTCOh damnnn. I didn’t see that coming. I hope they don’t have to wipe Lena’s memory. Especially if she’s pregnant. What an emotional and great chapter. Cat & Lena are a hell of a team. I loved Cat’s anger when she snapped “we’re doing this because of a lightbulb” that’s a perfect Cat Grant statement. Oh and her line “ the devil couldn’t stop me”. You aced those 2 lines. 😁. Lillian helping!? shocking to say the least especially since she had them locked up earlier in the chapter. Great update. Thanks for it. 👏👏
2022-05-09 19:30:21 +0000 UTCSo happy to see this updated!!! All of the emotions being felt here! That night light scene! Eugh way to make my heart break for little Kara 😭 loved the tag team of Lena and Cat taking down a professional kidnapping squad with household appliances. She finally gets told the truth BY Kara only for it to be possibly torn away!? Say it ain't so! If it does Kara needs to go to the fortress and make a crystal with Lena explaining to future Lena why they did it 🥺 This is a roller coaster and I love it! But also living for the fluff ❤💙
2022-05-09 12:36:06 +0000 UTCI was so excited to see this one updated and BOY YOU DIDNT HOLD BACK!! Lena’s confession in the office was so good but also made me feel just AWFUL for Kara because there’s no win in that situation - you can’t just whip the disguise off there without looking opportunistic but WOW IS THE ALTERNATIVE NOT ANY BETTER. And Is it dusty in here or do I just have like a whole tree in my eye Kara’s confession and her little night light 🥺🥺 nothing gets me right in the heartstrings like thinking about how Kara’s lost everything and then you go and add the nostalgia and emotional importance of a nightlight I legit teared up at their soft(emotionally speaking) mating and affirming their feelings. LOVE LOVE LOVE Cat and Lena kicking ass through the apartment and once again Lillian with impeccable timing. Poor Alex is gunna have a stroke one of these days and NOOOOOOOO DONT WIPE HER MEMORY SHE JUST FOUND OUT NOOOO 🥺🥺😭 it felt like such a good ending chapter and then the floor fell out from under my feet and I’m SO HAPPY ABOUT IT. Ugh what a great job with that you never miss
