Progress Update: 4/28/21

I just got out of a meeting with Arcaxon, who is making rapid progress on the graphic design for the new Down the Rabbit Hole. Some of the particulars have been difficult to diagram, but the end result is looking excellent. Section 1 is finished, and now he's into Section 2, which is where the most work will be done. Once he's finished, it should be a simple matter to place them onto the timeline and get the video out. He's probably going to need just a couple more weeks. All of the music is finished, including the song for the end credits, but Arcaxon needed everything else in place before he could time his animations correctly, and this meant that he had a late start compared to myself and Ryan.

In the meantime, the research for the Down the Rabbit Hole after this one is well underway so that by the time this new video launches, I'll already be quite far along. Much like how I learned chess for the Deep Blue video, I'm gaining firsthand experience on this new topic so that I can properly share the information in a digestible way. This new development pipeline is significantly more efficient than what we've done before, and it's making work both faster and easier. You'll know the topic after this new video launches.

I also am currently in talks with an animator to create an animated intro for Down the Rabbit Hole, which will ideally be in place for the video after this one. She has significant experience in the industry and I quite enjoy her work. Once we're more certain that she has the time and capacity to make it, I'll let you all know.

Thank you all for being patient while we make this new video just right. We're all excited to get this one out, but we're resisting rushing despite the longer development time, as a later release on this video won't slow down releases in the long-term, we'd rather get it polished as long as it's not holding up development. Patreon has made it possible for us to experiment with this new pipeline and make things more efficient. Down the Rabbit Hole is still growing, and I'm doing everything I can right now to maintain its viability into the foreseeable future, including learning how to manage a creative team.
