Thank you! 😁🎄I do love me some tropes. Confident Kara is a fave of mine to write, just because she does have it in her as Supergirl to be that way but also still a dork. This was fun to write and I'm up for writing a follow-up. If no one submits a specific idea for the prompt poll, then I'll think about a possible continuation - I was thinking about New Year's, or Valentine's Day, but a Hanukkah story woulda been good too... do people like reading holiday stories after that holiday has passed?

I'm so glad you loved everything about it! I would have enjoyed that plot twist with Lillian setting them up - I wouldn't mind writing a fic where that was the case! But the first thought I had with this fic was for Lena to think she was bringing home someone who would disappoint her parents, only to be surprised to find out she actually picked a winner. Absolutely nothing about this I didn't love oh man. Starting from Lena putting on the metaphorical fishing hat and reeling them in and Kara being humble "people say what I do is PRETTY boring" sure Jan. Honestly when they walked in and Lillian started chatting with Kara I thought it was going to be that Lillian had contacted Kara to try and set her up with Lena and they'd get home to a happy confused "wait you already know each other??" situation but oh man. oH MAN THE CARNIVAL WAS SO MUCH BETTER. I always love your thirsty Lena willing to do just about anything for the D but Confident Kara ALWAYS is such a delight and this was just an absolute treat watching her trounce the competition. And then the cinnamon ending! Sweet and hot! Absolutely adored every second of it. Happiest of Holiday seasons to you! Thanks for wrapping this fantastic gift for us! :D
