Howl - Part 2

After her long absence from National City, it felt strange for Lena to be striding into her own office again. As she flipped on her lights, she came to a halt to survey the room and waited for Kara to pad inside.
Kara’s transformation happened during their travels, about halfway through the long ride down to California from Washington state. They had stopped to pick up burgers, and while they were parked in the drive thru, the alpha’s appearance began to shift, and then she was sitting with a bag of take-out between her oversized paws.
It earned Lena a lot of weird looks from others who had pulled up with the plan to sit and eat in the parking lot. An old woman dropped her soda all over herself when she noticed Kara working her massive jaws and chomping on a burger.
It made Lena wonder how other people would react.
Lena imagined several delicious scenarios where board members arrived at her office only to find a giant wolf sitting in front of her desk. She liked the idea of it when she pictured herself sitting with her hands clasped in the middle of a negotiation while Kara snapped and growled at her least favorite executives. It might save her a lot of hassle, all things considered.
She was smirking as she daydreamed, and then she turned around to glance back at the wolf. “Kara, I just need to pick up a few files, and then we can head home—”
Lena trailed off when she noticed Kara wasn’t with her — not behind her and not in front of her.
“Kara?” she softly shrieked and hurried off down the hall in search of the conspicuously large wolf.
Kara should have been easy to find, but after ducking into a number of offices, Lena began to feel more than a little frantic with worry.
She ran into the break room, because she knew that her assistant Eve always kept it well stocked with coffee and donuts, but apparently the sugar hadn’t attracted Kara.
Her fingertips started to get that tingling, anxious sensation that she hated, and Lena nearly tripped in her heels as she searched the entire floor for her mate.
“Hey, Lena, you didn’t tell me you got a dog while you were away!” Eve called out from where she sat behind the tall reception desk.
Lena hurried over to find Eve feeding Kara half of her lunch. "I didn't have the chance," she whispered as the relief settled over her that Kara hadn't wandered further than the main floor.
To her amusement, Kara dashed off and began ripping up the papers on James’ desk before snatching his lunch and running away with it.
“She’s not trained yet,” Lena lied and hurried after Kara, following her down the hall and back into her private office.
“You have to stay in here with me, do you understand?” Lena questioned as Kara hopped up on the sofa and dropped the lunch bag that was in her mouth.
Kara’s ears twitched back as if she thought Lena was scolding her, but that didn’t stop her from tearing into James’ sandwich and gobbling it down whole.
Lena’s lips quirked into a smile, though when she sat behind her desk and flipped through a few files that had been left out for her to review, her mirth faded.
“It looks like my employees didn’t do a very good job of handling things here in my absence,” Lena sighed and played the feed for the security cameras on her laptop. She nibbled her lip as she watched a few masked men break the window at the front of the building and disable the ringing alarm.
Amongst the paperwork on her desk was a police report with details of the incident, though it bothered Lena that no one had reached out to her during her time away.
Kara must have sensed her distress, because the alpha wolf came over to nudge into her side. Lena absently stroked the fluff behind Kara’s ears and then glanced up sharply as someone burst into her office. Her best friend Sam halted in the doorway and registered the panicked expression on her face.
“Hey, it’s only me,” Sam softly stated, and Lena released the air that was tight in her chest.
“God, next time text me first so I know to expect you,” Lena complained and watched with curiosity as Kara bounded up to Sam.
“It’s your first day back in down after an extended vacation, so of course I’m going to come and check on you.” Sam frowned at the giant wolf that seemed intent on tracking her every movement. “And you got a pet while you were away. What's its name?”
"Ka—uh—Krypto,” Lena blurted as she glanced down at the cryptocurrency files on her desk.
“That’s kind of a weird name,” Sam chuckled and plopped down in the chair across from her.
Lena knew she couldn’t very well introduce her mate as Kara and then also refer to her dog by the same name. Just as she was feeling relieved that Sam hadn’t noticed her mating bite, she was ripped out of that sense of security by an uncharacteristically shrill Oh my god from Sam. “Lena Luthor, you dirty little slut, did you really let someone claim you in the three weeks you’ve been gone?”
Kara growled low in her throat and put her ears back as if to suggest how much she disliked Sam’s choice of words. Lena might have found herself at Sam’s mercy if Eve hadn’t come racing into the office with a basket of goodies.
“I sent a courier to the pet store,” Eve explained with excitement and grabbed a squeaky toy from the pile of items that she had clearly purchased for Kara. She bent down to pet Kara and tossed a ball her way.
Kara dutifully caught it and then dropped it on the floor, rolling it well under Lena’s desk so Eve couldn’t easily retrieve it.
“The dog actually belongs to my mate, Kara,” Lena admitted at a delay, once she was certain both Eve and Sam were actually listening to her, despite how Eve was violently squeaking other dog toys with the enthusiasm of a small angry poodle.
“I thought you were never going to mate, on account of the fact that it’s a barbaric, old fashioned tradition?” Sam asked and leaned back in her seat with her eyebrows raised in judgment. “Were you drunk or was this a legitimate union?”
“I wasn’t drunk,” Lena huffed with a defensive jut of her chin and glanced to where Eve was offering Kara a dog treat. “Krypto doesn’t like those.”
Kara halted with her mouth poised to take the treat, then trotted behind Lena to hide from Eve.
“So how did this alpha manage to win you over in three weeks?” Sam grinned over at her before narrowing her eyes and softening her interrogative stance. “You took two months to pick out furniture for your new penthouse. This alpha must be some kind of sex god if she convinced you to mate for life in such a short period of time."
“I can confirm that she’s talented in bed, but that isn’t the reason she won me over,” Lena insisted, keenly aware of how Kara’s ears perked up to wait for all of the reasons.
Kara pushed her head onto Lena’s lap and Lena slipped her fingers through short sandy hair. She contemplated divulging all of her feelings to her employee and best friend. At the last second, she lost her nerve and glanced at the wall, too timid to hold eye contact while gushing about her mate.
“Kara is an outdoorswoman and her body reflects it. I’ve never met anyone so muscular, so solid. She’s protective and kindhearted, and I can spend hours talking to her about so many different subjects.”
In a lot of ways, Lena was beginning to wish they had stayed at the little residence where they met rather than return to National City. She already missed their afternoon routine of going for a hike and sipping lemonade on the porch afterwards. They took leisurely, soaking baths together, and every night Kara led her back outside to mate under the stars.
“I’m actually thinking of stepping down as CEO, at least on an interim basis,” Lena divulged with the plan of sussing out whether or not Sam would be interested in the position.
“Is this the same Lena Luthor who was putting in 14-hour days before her trip?” Sam asked with a laugh, but the bright smile that pulled on her lips was one of genuine happiness. “Honestly, it sounds like Kara is just what you’ve always needed. After the hell you’ve experienced, you deserve only joy, my friend.”
Like an overgrown puppy soaking in praise, Kara sat next to the desk and wagged her tail like she was expecting rewards. She only shifted when there was a knock at the door and then her ears pulled back as a low growl came from her throat.
The door swung open, and in strutted Morgan Edge, the egotistical CEO of Galaxy Communications. He wore a bespoke Italian suit with a checkered handkerchief in his pocket, and he took it out to pat the sweat beading on his forehead.
“Lena, you’re back in town.” Morgan sneered more than smiled and glanced around the office like he owned everything in it, including her. “I would have phoned, but I have pressing business matters I wanted to discuss. Mr. Olsen tells me you’ve been considering selling off a few of your subsidiaries, including CatCo Media. Is that true?”
Lena squinted at Edge’s behavior and how at ease he was with intruding. She must have been giving off a subtle pheromone that alerted Kara to how unsettled Morgan Edge made her feel, because the wolf leapt forward to greet him. At first, Lena thought that Kara was going to take Edge’s hand off, but instead she just slobbered all over his expensive, one-of-a-kind suit.
“Please excuse Krypto,” Lena smirked, and made no effort to call Kara back or give any commands that a normal dog owner would have known.
As Edge tried to approach the desk, Kara jumped up to knock him back, and Lena reclined in her chair with a hint of guilty joy at seeing the man stumble.
Eve was ultimately the one who came over to bring an end to Kara’s antics. Ever the helpful assistant, Eve pulled out a giant rawhide bone in an attempt to entice Kara. “Come here, Krypto. See what I have for you?”
“That’s a big dog,” Morgan commented with a touch of a laugh on his lips that never fully formed. He lowered himself into a chair and smoothed out his ruffled dress shirt. Globs of slobber stuck to his hand and he wiped it messily on his handkerchief in disgust.
“She’s my guard dog,” Lena explained and crossed her legs to lean back in her seat like she was unconcerned by Kara’s behavior. “My mate got her for me. She’s wonderful added security.”
“Your mate,” Edge jeered and took in the new indents on her neck where Kara’s bite marked her. “How exciting, Lena. I assume that’s the reason you’re selling off your companies. I bet you’re already expecting pups.”
Sam had been too aghast to even acknowledge Edge after his interruption, but she chuckled at his assumption. “Lena isn’t the type to quit her job just because of her mate, or the pups they may or may not be having.”
Kara ran over to the place where Lena’s suitcase rested on the floor and pulled out a few items while everyone was distracted. With incredible luck, no one saw the giant wolf gently tugging at the zipper, or gamboling off into the bathroom.
After a minute of what she assumed was a fast transformation, Lena heard the alpha’s distinctly human shout. She wore a tense smile that had nothing to do with Morgan Edge’s biases towards omegas.
“It’s true,” Lena confirmed and nodded towards Sam, backing up all that her friend had said in coming to her defense. “My decision to cut loose a few subsidiaries has nothing to do with Kara, or any pups we might have in the future.”
With a clang and clatter, the door to the bathroom opened and Kara appeared, this time with considerably less hair but also without proper clothes. Her perfect abs were framed between a sports bra and the thick waistband of sweat pants.
“Lee-na,” Kara coughed out, enunciating the name like she was remembering how to speak after communicating nonverbally for several days.
“Did you finish your work out?” Lena asked with no more than a casual regard to how everyone was gawking at Kara’s toned body. “Kara, I’d like to introduce you to Sam. She’s a long-time friend and also an employee, and this is Eve, my lovely assistant.”
“And I’m Morgan Edge,” Morgan drawled after recognizing that Lena had no intention of mentioning him.
Kara nodded to everyone in greeting and swung her arms to get her bearings as a biped instead of a quadruped.
“Well, I need to make an appointment with the officer who came out to assess the break-in we had the other night,” Lena muttered, dismissing her friends and enemy alike with a single flick of her eyelashes. “We can all catch up later after I handle this important business.”
“You’re not going to give us the chance to get to know Kara?” Eve sulked, and glanced around in search of Krypto, whose absence she had only just realized. “Lena, I think your dog wandered off again.”
“I’ll find Krypto,” Kara asserted without any prompting and used the excuse to blatantly size up Morgan Edge. Her confident strut forced him out of the way and subsequently out of the office.
Kara curiously sniffed the air where he had been standing and released her own potent scent to erase Morgan’s from the premises.
Lena laughed nervously to draw any attention off the awkward behavior of her mate and caught Sam staring directly at her with slack jawed wonder. She could feel the questions burning inside her friend and tried to avoid them along with any eye contact as she shuffled papers.
“You never said your mate was a total fox,” Sam chastised the same way she often did when her daughter Ruby had done something mischievous. She followed Kara with her eyes and then spun towards Lena like she expected some sort of explanation.
“Wolf, actually,” Lena tactfully corrected with full awareness that the information she shared would go over Sam’s head. She exhaled slowly to force herself into a relaxed state and felt grateful when Eve closed the door on her way out to help Kara go look for herself.
“Details, all of them, right now,” Sam demanded in the privacy of Lena’s office. She made no move to leave and circled back to perch on the edge of Lena’s desk with wide intense eyes. “I mean, how did you two even meet? Was she jogging by the cabin?”
Lena pondered how best to mix honesty with truth to sate Sam’s curiosity. “Inside the cabin taking a nap, actually. It was one of those double-booking situations.”
“God, you truly do have the luck of the Irish,” Sam sighed with envy and glanced over to where Kara had stepped back into the room. She waited until Kara’s attention turned towards a little glass bowl full of candy before fanning herself. With dramatic flair, she pretended to wilt on top of the desk and whispered several praises of Kara’s physique. “Those muscles! I wish she would slap me against those washboard abs and wring me out.”
After ogling Kara to her heart’s content, Sam pushed herself up from the desk and muttered under her breath in parting, “Have a great day, you two, and remember, always use protection. Or don’t. I definitely wouldn’t.”
“Thanks for the advice,” Lena chuckled with a smile on her lips and playfully bumped her friend’s arm.
As the door clicked shut behind Sam, Lena drifted over to where Kara was making her way through the entire bowl of candy. She observed Kara in her new habitat with amusement and intrigue, and marveled at the way the alpha tore the candy wrappers in half to get to the toffees inside instead of simply twisting them open.
“Why don’t I send Eve out to grab you a second breakfast and you can wait here while I talk to the detective?” Lena suggested with a casual flick of her wrist towards her white leather sofa.
She doubted Kara would leave her side, but she worried about her mate’s abrasive behavior in front of law enforcement. Not that she could blame Kara’s natural instinct to be wary of armed men that reeked of entitlement.
The mention of food snapped Kara’s attention back onto her and she turned so quickly Lena put a hand over her mouth to stifle laughter.
“How does salad sound?” Lena teased as abject horror settled over Kara’s face like a snap-chat filter.
“Does it come with fries and a burger?” Kara asked, pursing her lips as she prowled around Lena with interest. Apparently her appetite wasn’t solely for food, and she expressed that with a quiet, intentional growl that called to Lena’s omega.
Kara stopped behind her to huff the scent of Lena’s pheromones. The soft puffs of warm breath tickled the expanse of her neck and Lena shivered despite herself and turned to give Kara what she hoped was a serious look. “Eat something healthy as a snack and I’ll let you have whatever you want when we get home later.”
The promise was twofold, and Lena smirked at the way Kara perked up at the offer.
Kara paused before relenting, and moved to the door to candidly inform Eve that they were going to get food. Smoothies and salads, not the good kind.
Lena dialed the number that the investigators left with her internal security team and arranged to meet with the detective who had written the report on the break-in.
Dealing with law enforcement over the next hour was a terribly grueling experience.
Detective Sawyer happened to be in the area and decided to stop by. She seemed more intent upon grilling Lena than going over the evidence, and her blunt candor was as welcome as a baseball bat to the face.
Between balancing out Kara’s intensity and deflecting Sawyer’s half-assed interrogation, Lena’s nerves were frayed and her questions were nowhere near answered. Kara sipped a giant energy booster smoothie and made a loud noise with the straw whenever Detective Sawyer cut Lena off. They went over the footage from the cameras, but their main topic of discussion was Lena’s current dealings at L-Corp and her whereabouts on the night of the incident.
“If you have anything else you want to ask, you can find me at the station,” Detective Sawyer announced abruptly and scoffed at the way Kara stood up to escort her out all the while glowering down at her. “It might be a good idea to leave the guard dog at home, though.”
Kara shut the office door in her face and returned to Lena’s side to inform her quietly, “I don’t like that one. She judges you for no reason.”
“She assumes all of this is my fault, and probably even believes I’m doing something illegal that just invited a break-in,” Lena stressed and pulled at the long sleeves on her blouse, the lightest of silks that suddenly felt constricting over old wounds.
The healing marks on her arms had faded to a latticework of pale white, but in the aftermath of meeting with the detective, Lena imagined the injuries were fresh and open again.
Interacting with police officers and detectives often brought back terrible memories. Such situations also tended to stir up a bizarre guilt that came from her brother’s involvement in most of the attacks against her.
Even though Lena pushed back against such criticism from others, at other times she let them affect her mood. The tight sensation in her chest warned of an oncoming panic attack, which came from the intrusive thought that she was to blame for provoking Lex yet again.
She began collecting her belongings from around the office with the plan to leave for the day before she embarrassed herself by hyperventilating in front of her employees.
Kara hovered at her side, and Lena’s sharper intake of breath brought the alpha even closer. “Lena—”
“Hey, I have an idea,” Lena muttered as she draped her handbag high on her shoulder as she took a calculated step around Kara. “Why don’t we have a picnic? I’ll take you to my favorite place to get sandwiches and we can walk over to the park.”
She turned back around with a tight smile and reached out to take Kara’s hand with a rigid awareness of the way the alpha observed her body.
Lena hated how she reacted to negative stimuli, how her own behaviors were foreign and difficult to navigate when she was feeling this vulnerable.
Kara’s concern reflected in her soulful blue eyes, yet instead of voicing it or drawing more attention to Lena’s distressed state, she simply sidled up to her while emanating a calming scent. “Sure, I miss being around nature.”
Kara linked her arm through Lena’s to guide her out of the office and away from Eve before she could ask where Krypto went.
It put Lena at ease and she cuddled into Kara’s side to breathe in the strong alpha musk that reminded her of wood chips and moss.
They were both fine as they descended in the elevator -- however, the second they were out on the street, Kara seemed to lose all sense of composure.
Four times Lena had to yank on Kara’s arm to stop her from running off like a spooked wolf. Twice she almost ran into oncoming traffic, and then there was an incident involving a chihuahua at the crosswalk. The small thing yipped and barked and Kara calmly knelt down beside it and bared her teeth. Thankfully the lights changed and Lena dragged her away before she snarled back, but that was enough insight into how overstimulated her mate was becoming because of the crowds and all of the noise. It clearly disoriented Kara to be surrounded by concrete and skyscrapers with hardly any trees in sight.
The panic Lena had felt earlier in her office was palpable in her mate, and she tried to soothe Kara by leading her to the things she loved: food.
Hot dog stands and soft pretzels were everywhere in abundance, and Lena distracted the frenzied anxiety in Kara by plying her with scrumptious snacks. Whenever she caught Kara sniffing the air, she discovered a new café or bakery a few blocks away.
The trip around the city took the break-in off of Lena’s mind and she delighted in seeing how Kara’s whole face lit up whenever they bought a new treat. They had an entire bag of sandwiches and baked goods when they entered the park, and Kara strolled along with it while Lena balanced a tray of iced drinks. She had a firm grip on Kara’s other hand, her eyes falling to Kara’s fingers that filled the spaces in between her own so perfectly.
Lena was hung up on the significance of that as they wandered through the tranquil place, how they fit so naturally together without even trying. Kara filled all the empty spaces of her life and made them better.
“How about here?” Kara asked after a few minutes of silence. She assessed the space with a critical eye and tipped her head in that tell-tale way that told Lena she was listening to things her human ears couldn’t detect. “It’s peaceful. There’s just enough shade, and nobody else is here yet.”
“The last part is what I like most about it.” Lena spread out a checkered throw blanket she brought from her office and settled down on top of it. She unpacked their coffees and sandwiches and several sweets for Kara, including a selection of pastry covered in glazed fruits.
They lounged for a while to sample the food and Lena took joy in lifting forkfuls of pastry to Kara’s mouth.
Kara’s eyes popped over every new flavor and she polished off more than a dozen of the treats without ruining her appetite for lunch.
“So, I was thinking we should go back to the cabin in about two weeks,” Lena mentioned during intermittent conversation, just as Kara bit into a roast beef sandwich.
Kara chewed more vigorously to swallow faster. “But you said we would probably be here for a few months—”
“I changed my mind,” Lena reasoned and swirled her straw around in her iced coffee. “I hate it here. We could buy some more land and really settle down far away from all of this noise and stress.”
Enthusiasm carried through Kara’s pheromones, in spite of the way she wiped at her mouth to ask, “Are you sure that’s what you want? You told me you loved your work here, and about all of the things you wanted to do with your company.”
“I can still work,” Lena persuaded, even though she wasn’t feeling bold enough to make eye contact. “I’m wealthy enough to make a smaller home lab for myself, and I can tinker away while you have all the space you need to stretch your legs.”
The city and all of its dangers were glaringly obvious now that Lena returned. The safety that her corporations once provided felt more like an illusion than a tangible defense.
The harsh reality was that her own office had been ransacked, which meant she was in jeopardy in her own domain. Coupled with the threat of anyone finding out about Kara’s condition and her penchant for leaning into her animalistic instincts, it was clear that their future hung in a precarious balance.
Either Lena downsized and adapted to the safety and seclusion of the forest, or she risked their lives all for a matter of pride.
When it came down to it, the choice was an easy one, if not a little forced out of fear.
“You don’t have to run now. I’m not going to let anything happen to you.” Kara punctuated her soft assertion with the lightest stroke of fingers along Lena’s arm.
“I know that, I do, but I’m just so tired of it all,” Lena admitted with a sad slant to her lips. She leaned into Kara, resting her weight against the alpha, and fell silent as she considered her fluctuating emotions. “Don’t get me wrong, I love what I do, but being together out there in the middle of nowhere was the best time of my life.”
Around their picnic blanket, bees pirouetted from clover to clover. Lena watched them gather nectar and drift off on gossamer wings.
She picked a yellow buttercup from the grass and twirled it in her fingers as she sensed Kara observing her just as she was observing the bumble bees, like she too might take flight.
Kara brushed the hair away from her shoulder and comforted her with a gentle hand. “This is your territory, Lena. It’s worth defending it. I promise you a good, happy life. I won’t let a detective or a competitor intimidate you. I won’t let anyone do that.”
Lena tingled all over from the power Kara exuded and lifted her eyes for a glimpse at the expression on her alpha’s face. She thought it would be harsher, but instead Kara’s lips formed the tenderest smile.
It amazed Lena that her mate could be such a beacon of strength and also so soft and supportive.
Kara’s speech dispelled the somber mood that had come over her.
“I forgot for a minute that my alpha is a supernatural being who is more than capable of dealing with my enemies,” Lena crooned with the flirtation of a smile on her face, which widened into a fuller grin the longer she and Kara made eye contact. “Maybe there’s one other reason that National City can’t compare to our private little cabin in the woods.”
“What ever could that be?” Kara propped her hand against her chin dramatically to signal that she was listening.
Lena smirked and glanced down at the jeans Kara had swapped out with her sweat pants. She placed a hand on Kara’s thigh and began innocently rubbing at the denim.
“Freedom to touch whenever we wanted,” Lena explained needlessly, the scent of Kara’s pheromones richer from the light petting.
Their need for one another brought them closer, and Lena tipped her head back for Kara’s lips to find her throat. The warmth of the alpha’s mouth brought a pretty flush to Lena’s cheeks, and she shivered as Kara trailed kisses along her neck.
Kara’s attention settled on the claim, and she sucked gently, drawing the flesh into her mouth to trace with the flat of her tongue. She stroked down Lena’s arm, grazed her fingertips over Lena’s shirt and then cupped her breast. Kara palmed it, rubbing her thumb over a pebbled nipple that poked through Lena’s bra in excitement.
“God, you touch me like my body was made just for your hands,” Lena moaned, the sound stifled by the sudden heat of Kara’s lips on hers.
She whined at the subtle push of Kara’s tongue entering her mouth and sucked on the tip while her hand sought out the steadily growing erection in Kara’s jeans. She stroked the length of her mate with teasing fingers, never quite gripping to jerk Kara through the denim.
They were bold yet careful as they made-out in the park, lips locked and hands busy ghosting over clothes.
At a glance it might have even seemed innocent, except Kara’s hand drifted up Lena’s thigh beneath the fabric of her skirt and her omega was weak to the advances. She parted her legs so that Kara could feel the arousal that coated her panties and groaned as the alpha shifted to pin her onto the picnic blanket.
“I miss getting to have you outside like this, seeing you naked and bathed in sunlight,” Kara rumbled with a casual grind into Lena’s hip. She nuzzled along her jaw, huffing at Lena’s skin with quiet, throaty growls.
Lena chose to believe that she wouldn’t have taken it further. That her sense of decency would have prevailed and they would have stopped before really getting started – except Kara was sliding her fingers along the crease of her panties between her pussy lips, and her omega sweetened the summer air with a wanton and receptive scent.
It was Kara who reined herself in first, her head cocked to the side before she sighed in frustration and rolled off of Lena.
“People,” Kara murmured under her breath, the slump of her shoulders a clear sign that she was sulking at the interruption.
Lena laughed at the sullen and grumpy way Kara lifted a sandwich, and then snuggled into her mate, who softened at the contact.
“My plan to return to the cabin doesn’t sound so bad now, does it?” Lena teased as a family sauntered by no less than twenty yards away.
They soaked up the sun for another ten minutes in peace, but as time ticked on, more people ventured through their secluded area and Lena’s paranoia made her hyper aware of everyone who looked in her direction.
After her fifth not-so-subtle glance around, Kara stood up to stretch and excused herself without any explanation.
Lena watched her run off toward the tree line, and was just about to get upset when Kara trotted out of the bushes in her wolf form. She laughed at the sight of the giant wolf bounding towards her like an overgrown puppy, and relaxed the second Kara flopped down next to her with her tongue lolling out.
“Not many couples can claim their spouse is also their emotional support companion, but you’ve got that covered, haven’t you?” Lena whispered and stroked into golden fur to scratch behind Kara’s ears.
Her anxiety dropped just from running her fingers through Kara’s fluff. She listened to the rustle of the trees and the soft shouts of children in the distance and leaned into Kara’s side.
The replenishing rest lowered her heart rate and she sipped lemonade while watching a pair of squirrels scampering up a tree.
To everyone else, Lena must have looked like a normal omega just visiting the park with her dog. She considered it an ideal situation until a ball bounced in her direction from where two alphas were kicking it around.
One of the alphas jogged over and flashed a smile as he checked her out. “Hey, I’m sorry about my buddy’s bad aim. Can I get my ball back?”
Lena could see that the alpha was more interested in leering at her than bending down to grab the ball. His pheromones curled aggressively around her, even though he was staring straight at the mark on her neck.
She reached for the ball, but Kara got to it first and punctured it sharply with her teeth. The ball deflated immediately in her mouth and Lena had to suppress the urge to laugh at the noise it made.
“I guess that’s a no,” Lena replied and retrieved the damaged remnants of the ball from Kara’s gnashed teeth. “You know what, I’ll just replace it.”
The alpha pulled out a card with his name on it and passed to Lena. “I’d settle for your phone number instead. I’m Maxwell.”
Lena didn’t get the pleasure of discarding the card, because Kara snatched it out of her hand with a snap of sharp teeth and flung it back at Maxwell with a vigorous shake of her head. It fluttered sadly towards his feet, tattered and covered in slobber, and Lena grinned at the way he backed off when Kara stood up and stalked forward.
The size of Kara’s paws were bigger than his hands, and he held them up with a nervous chuckle when Lena didn’t show any sign of intervening.
Maxwell hesitated in an attempt to posture, raising his chin arrogantly until Kara pulled her lips back to bare her teeth.
“Where did you find that thing, Game of Thrones?” Maxwell joked in an effort to hide the pitiful scent of fear that wafted off his skin.
Kara sniffed it with interest and inched closer, the fur along her neck standing on end to show her aggression.
“Cabin in the woods,” Lena lilted, knowing damn well that he would think she was sassing him. She grinned at the way Maxwell almost tripped over his feet as Kara faked him out with a half lunge.
“Cool, I’d better go, my friend is waiting!” Maxwell blurted in a high-pitched shriek and finally found his common sense to leave Lena alone. He sprinted back to his buddy, who mocked him for failing to get Lena’s number, and Kara stood on guard to keep them both moving.
“I think you enjoy intimidating anyone that comes near me,” Lena whispered with an amused quirk of her lips.
Kara tipped her head to the side and gave her big, innocent eyes, then stuck her cold wet nose into her palm to demand affection.
“I knew it,” Lena teased, ruffling Kara’s fluffy cheeks between her hands.
Kara’s wolf form was huge in comparison to Lena, and she got some strange and wide-eyed looks as more people passed them by.
For the most part, nobody bothered them, and everyone gave them a wide berth, except for a very excitable and curious Jack Russell that was running around without a leash.
Lena saw it zooming over with its ears and tail perked up and almost inhaled her lemonade when Kara rolled over to spot its fast approach. After the encounter with the chihuahua, a sense of dread crept through Lena, but then the most ridiculous thing happened and the small dog ran circles around Kara’s long legs.
Kara lifted a front paw to peek down at the Jack Russell, and the little thing vibrated eagerly and pounced around the grass playfully.
With a swish of her tail behind her, Kara hunkered down on her front legs to greet the dog that rolled over to show its belly.
In the distance, someone was yelling, but Lena couldn’t take her eyes off of the sight of her giant wolf running in circles so the Jack Russell could chase her.
Kara dramatically dropped onto her side when it pawed at her tail, and the tiny dog pounced her and yipped in victory.
“Oh, Herman, you’ve made a friend, how lovely!” squealed a white haired woman with her hands clasped in delight.
Herman the Jack Russell barked in affirmation and rushed up to the woman. She gave him a pat on the head and extended her hand to Kara in a request for permission to touch.
“What breed is she?” The woman asked and chuckled at how Kara shoved her nose right into the pocket of the embroidered cardigan she was wearing.
“Part golden retriever, mixed with Alaskan malamute,” Lena lied and rushed over to wrap her arms around Kara’s neck to prevent any begging for treats.
“That’s an unusual combination, quite rare,” mused the woman and fussed over Kara with glee, producing a slab of homemade sponge cake that she insisted upon feeding Kara from a napkin.
Kara sat at the woman’s feet and performed all kinds of tricks for the cake, despite having eaten about three days’ worth of food at lunch time. She stuck her giant paw into the woman’s hand about a dozen times and turned in circles on command.
“What a clever thing you are,” the woman cooed and emptied the last of the crumbs into Kara’s waiting mouth. “Herman and I often come for walks in this park. We hope to see you again.”
Herman kicked his small legs and darted off at the old woman’s heels.
Lena waited until the kind woman was out of ear shot before eyeing Kara.
“I’m not sure if I should reward you for playing nice, or chastise you for taking cake from that poor old lady,” Lena murmured with a critical squint at Kara, who dropped her ears back and lowered her chin like she knew she had misbehaved.
Lena held her stare, and waited for the pitiful whine Kara gave in response before wrapping her arms around Kara’s furry neck to reassure her she wasn’t actually in trouble.
She pressed her forehead to Kara’s and reflected on the trust that spanned between them so implicitly. Regardless of what situation presented itself, she was safe with Kara in both of her forms, and though there was currently no scientific reason as to why Kara could transform, Lena wasn’t going to let that get in the way of their relationship.
“It’s good to know you have a sense of humor in this form, and that you only drive away people you deem a real threat,” Lena intoned, finally releasing Kara, who sat proudly by her side.
The wolf’s head was higher than her own and Lena watched the way Kara’s ears twitched and how she sniffed at the air periodically.
The lunch crowd gradually diminished, and in the quiet seclusion of their picnic spot, Lena rested on the blanket to bask in the sun without a care in the world.
She didn’t think herself capable of relaxing so fully once they returned to the city, but with Kara by her side and the heavy weight of a large paw on her thigh, she took advantage of letting her guard down.
They listened to the soft chirps of birds and the subtle noise of people laughing and talking in the distance.
Little by little, the horrible ordeal of talking with the detective was bleached from Lena’s mind by the sun’s hot rays. It faded in intensity, and she was able to breathe without the crushing weight of guilt and doubt pushing down on her shoulders.
Kara padded off not long after that, and Lena tracked her as she ventured off to find her clothes in the bushes where she had left them. A few minutes later, her companion was a toned and muscled blonde that strutted out of the trees when nobody was around to notice.
Lena’s omega reacted accordingly to the sight of her mate, and she coyly tugged her shirt sleeves over her fingers to distract herself from the blush creeping up her neck.
“Is this your way of letting me know you want to head home?” Lena queried with an amused lift of her eyebrow.
“Maybe I just wanted to be able to do this,” Kara whispered and leaned down to brush her fingers through Lena’s hair before drawing her in for a kiss.
Lena melted into the tenderness, reaching for Kara so that the alpha could help her onto her feet while their mouths continued to meld together in chaste, sweet kisses.
“We should head home now so we can do more than just kiss,” Lena enticed and let her pheromones do most of the convincing.
Kara packed up their blanket and all of their trash to discard on the way out of the park, and Lena cuddled into her alpha’s side with a contented sigh.
She nuzzled shyly into Kara’s side as her mate tucked a hand into her back pocket and guided them out of their newfound serenity.
Returning home was nicer than she ever remembered with Kara in tow. They passed by the market in the square near her building and grabbed a few ingredients for dinner. The glint of the sun off the glass paneled skyscrapers was magical and soft for once, and Lena swung Kara’s hand during the last of their stroll.
Lena thought nothing of it as an unfamiliar doorman greeted them upon entering her building.
Virtually everyone knew her face, especially since the attack that prompted her to take an extended vacation, so she smiled politely and ushered Kara into the express elevator in the hopes of avoiding any awkwardness.
They ascended in silence, with Kara observing the many buttons and lights curiously. Lena wondered if the alpha had ever been inside a building so tall before, but kept her questions to herself, lest Kara think she was patronizing her by asking.
“I have a personalized security system that I developed, so don’t be alarmed when we enter,” Lena prefaced before the elevator reached the top floor where she resided.
Kara shadowed her down the hallway with a wary expression and sniffed the keycard before Lena swiped it.
Lena pushed the door open and hurried to press her thumb against a black panel tucked against the wall. It beeped as it scanned her print, and a disembodied voice echoed through the apartment.
Greetings, Lena. Home routine now activated.
“Thank you, Hope,” Lena muttered, aware of the way Kara hunkered down behind her like she might just shift into her wolf form.
Lena reached out to her mate to lace their fingers together. She tugged Kara inside the penthouse as music began to play and the lights and TV turned on automatically.
“Relax, I programmed this to happen,” Lena assured the alpha, and gently shoved her towards the kitchen. “Why don’t you put our groceries in the fridge and find us a nice wine while I freshen up? I’ll make us dinner in a minute.”
Kara refused to budge from her side and pressed her lips together in a tight line of distrust. “I don’t like this,” she grunted, her eyes narrowing as she peered around, no doubt to find the source of the music.
Lena was amused by the fact that for once she wasn’t the one that was jumpy.
Refusing to take no for an answer, she slipped her hand into Kara’s and raised up on her tiptoes to kiss the frown off of her face. “Please give it a chance. It’s just new, that’s all. Hope is state of the art. I can assign her to follow your voice commands.”
Kara grumbled at the suggestion, despite finally relenting and wandering towards the kitchen.
Lena tried not to laugh, her mirth perfuming her pheromones as she ventured down the hall to her bedroom.
The room was dark, and in hindsight, that should have alerted her that things weren’t as they seemed, but she didn’t pick up on that until she turned on the shower.
She caught sight of movement reflected in the mirror seconds before a masked man grabbed her from behind. Lena screamed into his gloved hand and stomped on his foot with her four-inch heel while she scrambled to grab anything her hands could land on.
Panic burst through her chest as she realized it was a tube of toothpaste. She squeezed out a glob and valiantly slapped it across his mask, clogging up the space by the nose that he would need to breathe.
He snarled in aggravation, his hand tightening around her mouth so she couldn’t cry for help as he wrenched her backwards with enough force to lift her off her feet.
Lena went limp so that her dead weight would put a strain on his arms, and she bit at his gloved fingers when they slipped over her lips.
“Fucking bitch,” he hissed, trying and failing to pull his index finger free of her teeth.
She bit down harder, channeling Kara’s inner wolf until the ache in her jaw worsened by the slap she received for her efforts.
Lena stumbled into the bedside cabinet as he tried to manhandle her towards the walk-in closet. Her vision blurred with fear as she latched onto a drawer and swung it with enough force to splinter it against his hip.
“God damn it!” The man grunted, snaring Lena by the hair as she tried to run past him.
Pain burned through her scalp and she tried to yank herself free with a shriek.
“KA—”
“Shut up,” The man snarled, his fist no sooner around Lena’s neck than Kara was on him.
The aggressive scent of her pheromones choked him out and Kara lunged at him, striking at his throat with her fist. The attack made him wheeze, and he dropped Lena in favor of blocking Kara’s uppercut.
Lena gasped for air and shrank back against the wall, the frenzy of movement so fast that she barely registered the gun in the man’s hand. The shot he fired went into the wall and the loud noise disorientated Kara.
“Careful!” Lena screamed, her ears ringing from the noise as the adrenaline made her jittery.
She hurled books that she left on her bedside table — not that Kara appeared to need assistance. The alpha had already wrestled the gun out of the man’s hand and was kneeling on his chest to swing her fists at his jaw.
The sickening thump of her knuckles landing solidly against his face was drowned out by his angry snarls, and then they were rolling, both struggling to get the upper hand until Kara pulled the balaclava off his face and tried to strangle him with it.
“Who sent you?” Kara shouted, her face a mask of rage as she pinned him to the floor and refused to let him up. “Tell me!”
“I don’t know!” The man spluttered, his lips turning purple as he tried to claw at Kara’s hands. “He wired the money. Said to frighten the omega—”
“You’ll never do that again, will you?” Kara snarled, the threat in her tone so cold that Lena shivered just from hearing it.
Lena rushed over before Kara finished him off and pried her fingers free of the mask that dug into the man’s throat.
“I want the device you used for the transaction and whatever you were paid for this home invasion, and in return, my mate won’t drop you off the balcony,” Lena stipulated with a venom in her voice that was hauntingly reminiscent of Lex.
The intruder handed the devices over without any protest, seeming unnerved by the way Kara was pressing her face into his neck to sniff at his scent.
Kara huffed at his clothes for good measure and leaned in to stare at the fear in his eyes when she informed him, “If I smell you within a mile of Lena, I’ll hunt you down and nobody will ever find you.”
Lena took the devices from the man’s pockets and slipped them into her own jacket while Kara moved him onto his feet. After she was certain she had them all, Kara dragged him out of the penthouse and practically shoved him down the stairwell.
“Run,” Lena instructed, and waited while the man sprinted down countless flights of stairs with the threat of Kara ready to charge after him if he stopped.
The heavy thud of his feet was loud on the steps, and it was all Lena could hear other than the rush of blood in her ears. She controlled the quiver of her chin by pushing it out in a bid to appear tough. The beginning of a bruise was forming on her face, high across her cheek bone.
Kara continued to monitor the noises around them, and only let her guard down as Lena started to catch her breath. They stepped towards one other and Kara enveloped her in a hug that vowed her complete safety.
Lena was the one who initiated a kiss, nipping at Kara’s mouth with a fierceness born of adrenaline and fight instinct. She could smell the concern on Kara, and felt the hesitant way her mate kissed her back just to experience the provocative sting of her teeth.
“I’ve lived my whole life in fear and I’m not going to do it anymore. You were right, Kara, this is my territory, and I’m not going to be chased out of it by some coward who has to hire thugs to do his dirty work,” Lena grit out, the determination of her words harsher than the ragged breaths she took.
She fisted her hands into Kara’s shirt and wrenched the buttons clean off, scattering a few across the room in an effort to rip it open.
Lena ran her nails across solid abs that flexed beneath her touch and pushed her fingers into the tight loop of Kara’s belt, her eyes searching Kara’s for approval.
The alpha fed off of her incensed attitude and nodded sharply, encouraging the feisty way Lena wanted to work through her emotions.
“Then we’re not leaving until we find out who did this,” Kara rumbled, tearing at Lena’s blouse to expose her tits. She released them with a quick tug that snapped a strap from her bra, and Lena groaned at the urgency of their bodies trying to collide together.
She yanked at Kara’s belt and damn near ruined the zipper on her jeans in her rush to get it down, and Kara sucked a nipple into her mouth and slid the skirt down over Lena’s hips. They moved frantically toward the bed, discarding clothes and inhibitions, and Lena huffed at the protective pheromones Kara unleashed to fill the entire penthouse.
“I need your hands to be the only ones I remember feeling on me,” Lena rasped, her omega unfurling within her lithe frame to beg for a rough mating that would erase all other sensation.
Kara’s cock was rigid against her palm and Lena knew her mate was incapable of denying her. She stroked it firmly, a breathless whine escaping her parted lips at the sudden growl that vibrated through Kara’s chest.
Kara’s dominance forced her backwards, and Lena whimpered at the sight of the alpha throwing pillows off the bed to gather up blankets. She understood what Kara wanted without a single word from the alpha, their connection so profound that Lena began to open the curtains to bathe them in pale moonlight.
The waxing crescent hung right above them and Lena shuddered at the command Kara ushered through her pheromones.
Lena scrambled onto all fours in the middle of the pillows and pulled her panties aside to present the glossy folds of her cunt. She reeked of desperation, and showed off the darker pinks inside that proved how roughly she required Kara to take her.
“You’re going to be on your knees all night for me,” Kara promised, palming at Lena’s supple backside to spread her cunt wider. She inhaled the heady scent of Lena’s arousal, her alpha’s greed permeating around them while she rubbed two fingers into the glistening heat of Lena’s opening.
Kara smeared the lubrication she gathered over the head of her cock, and Lena impatiently pushed back to slide herself onto the broad tip.
“Let me feel all the ways I belong to you,” Lena implored with a submissive bend that lowered her cheek to the pillows. It gave Kara an unobstructed view of her erection nestled in Lena’s tight embrace.
Kara’s first thrust rocked her forward and Lena’s mouth opened in moaning seduction. The powerful lunges drilled Lena deep, and Kara’s grip tightened on her waist to ensure she took each one.
The dulcet tones of Kara’s enjoyment heightened Lena’s pleasure and she fisted the comforter as the alpha’s hot breath puffed against her neck.
There was something exceptionally erotic in hearing Kara getting off from using her cunt. The cadence of her moans went up an octave and Kara buried her face into the crook of her neck to praise, “You sound so beautiful the closer you get to orgasm.”
Lena whimpered at the declaration, her labored breaths interspersed with airy moans she couldn’t contain.
The subtle rub of her nipples against the Egyptian cotton of her blanket was nothing compared to Kara’s calloused palms. Lena arched into the touch, pushing her breasts into the alpha’s hand the second Kara cupped her to thumb at her nipples.
“Oh god, pinch them, make them ache for your tongue,” Lena begged, the wet clasp of her walls trying to tame Kara’s cock into staying deep.
Kara rolled her nipples as she bucked harder, tweaking each one to make them stiff as she latched onto Lena’s claim.
Whether the stimulation of the mark being sucked or the deliciously dominant growl Kara gave, Lena surrendered to the onset of pleasure with a cry.
The hard convulsion of her cunt stilted Kara’s thrusts and the alpha locked her teeth around the claim as her cock jerked.
Spurts of seed erupted into Lena’s channel and she whined at the way Kara began thrusting to push it inside of her. The pathetic scent of her omega washed over them when Kara pulled back to admire the thick spill of pleasure that slid onto the blankets.
The sight of herself in the window pane evoked a yearning within Lena that she only discovered during her time with Kara. She wasn’t meant to be a silhouette in a glass cage; she craved the earth beneath her palms and the tickle of grass against her breasts. Lena wanted to be as wild and carefree as she had been with Kara back at the cabin.
“Take me to the balcony,” Lena requested the second Kara plunged through the hot spasm of her muscles to go again. “I want to feel the air on my skin as we become one under the moon.”
All things considered, that was probably the most romantic thing Lena could have said to a werewolf, and Kara hastened her thrusts in excitement to fill her with spontaneous surges of seed.
Kara kissed and licked at her lips as she gathered Lena into her arms, tasting the salt of her skin as she exuded pride.
Being showered in such adoration brought a blush to Lena’s face, and she nuzzled into Kara’s strong shoulder to reciprocate as the chill of the night swept her hair up in a breeze.
“I’ve never been this close to it before, so high up I could almost reach it,” Kara murmured once she set Lena back onto her feet. She stared up at the sky in wonder, and then turned to catch Lena’s cheeks between her palms and drew her into a kiss so ravenous Lena swayed from it.
“Mount me,” Lena urged, halfway to her knees when Kara spun her towards the balcony railing with other plans in mind. Instead of presenting on cold, hard concrete, Kara raised Lena’s right leg and draped it over the ledge of the balcony to keep her in a total spread.
“Tonight, you get to feel every inch of me against you,” Kara intoned, sliding her palm down Lena’s inner thigh to play with her pussy. She stroked her fingertips around Lena’s clitoris and sensually trapped it between two fingers to massage.
Lena whimpered at the stretch the position kept her in and how thoroughly it exposed her cunt for all of Kara’s attention. The gentle prod of the alpha’s cock slotted into the space between her labia and Lena exhaled a throaty noise of approval at the slow internal dilation.
“Can you take my knot like this?” Kara asked, rubbing into Lena’s clit faster when she didn’t answer straight away. The increased stimulation evoked a keening whine, and Lena grunted as Kara began to buck.
The rough slam of Kara’s cock raised Lena onto her tiptoes and she leaned heavily into the alpha, knowing her mate would support her. Their positioning granted access to her breasts and throat, and Kara indulged in both voraciously.
“Yes, yes I can take it,” Lena stated, her eyes rolling back at the first teasing bite against her neck.
The heat of Kara’s body contrasted with the cool wind and Lena shut her eyes to luxuriate in the freedom of mating outdoors. It struck her that she couldn’t go back to the way things were prior to Kara, that her omega was so intrinsically bound with the alpha that sex was forever changed.
Rivulets of slick clung to her cunt and the wet noise of taking Kara’s cock was drowned out by her promiscuous sounds. Lena undulated into her alpha with poise and stamina and craned her head back to moan as a spasm of bliss began deep inside of her.
She tried to grind her pussy into Kara’s hand and debased herself with soft cries as Kara’s shaft started to expand.
“Fuck me,” Lena gasped, her breasts bouncing with the force of Kara’s thighs battering into her ass. “Harder, because I know you need me, Kara. Show my cunt you can dominate it anytime you want.”
The filthy utterance escaped Lena along with a hedonistic moan and she clung to the railing as Kara almost bent her over it. The raw scratch of her throat was from pleasure, not fear, and her tender slit would be a reminder of their animalistic mating.
“Beg, Lena,” Kara thundered in her ear, her strong arms anchoring Lena in place as she bottomed out with rougher strokes. The cherry blossom of Lena’s inner lips would be a luscious carnal hue once Kara was finished with her, and that wouldn’t be any time soon. “Beg me to open your cunt with my alpha knot and I’ll breed you until morning.”
“Please, please,” Lena’s supplicating cries went up in pitch the quicker Kara rammed her cock into her narrow passage. The ripple of her walls beseeched Kara for the knot and she quaked, breathless and sweaty, completely enraptured by her alpha’s stamina.
The exquisite pressure of Kara’s increasing size was the tipping point for Lena’s pleasure. She arched sharply, her head thrown back and breasts heaving from the powerful contractions inside her cunt. The euphoric sensation of climaxing crashed over her, warming her limbs and releasing all the tension in her muscles.
Lena was supple in Kara’s hands, pliable in ways only the alpha got to experience, and the wanton scent of her sexual satisfaction thickened the atmosphere.
Kara inhaled it, insatiable in her desire for Lena, and palmed at her breasts with possessive intent. She had to work twice as hard to fit her knot into the intimate velvet of Lena’s spasming cunt.
Kara’s grunts and growls were a testament to her effort, and she groaned loud and gutturally when Lena helped by squeezing the base of her cock.
The hot pulse of seed was instantaneous, and Kara lurched forward to slot the entirety of her cock into the confines of Lena’s sensitive pussy.
They both reeled from the relief of it, and Kara kissed the slender column of Lena’s throat in gratitude.
They stayed entwined on the balcony until Lena’s leg cramped, and they retreated to the bedroom where Kara made good on her promise.
Their lovemaking was much slower on the bed, and Kara made sure to kiss over every bruise and blemish left behind from the intruder. The fierceness never left the alpha’s eyes, though all Lena could see every time they stared into her own was the unconditional love of her mate who would never let her guard down again.

The latest poll brought me back here. 🤣 So hard to choose!!! 🥹😆
2023-03-19 16:39:09 +0000 UTC*eyes part 3 in my drafts* Thank you! ☺️
2022-05-04 19:12:59 +0000 UTCSuch good interactions here! Sam, Eve, Kara and the dogs. So good. Thanks for sharing ;)
2022-05-04 03:52:13 +0000 UTCThank you! Yes, Kara picked right up on Lena's discomfort and transformed just to comfort her. 😊I'm pretty sure Kara as a wolf would totally take all of the opportunities available to her to get treats. 😁
2021-07-16 21:12:41 +0000 UTCI've been wanting to write it - it's always hard for me to gauge whether I should continue something that reads like a one shot or if there's a number of people who want more. I think my way of doing the continuation polls will be different from now on (i.e. the way I posted it recently so I can see if even one person would like an update to something). I'm so glad you enjoyed!! 😃 Thank you!
2021-07-16 21:02:02 +0000 UTCLove protective yet sweet Kara. The transformation in the park was just what Lena needed and Kara knew it ❤️. Love how Kara played with the little dog and then got treats for doing tricks that she could easily understand and do 🤣😂🤣
2021-07-16 16:27:41 +0000 UTCI’ve been waiting for part 2 for awhile!! I love it!!
2021-07-13 21:43:06 +0000 UTCIt might or might not be Lex causing trouble in this chapter, though Lena's definitely still traumatized from his bullshit. Kara's taking risks with her transformations but maybe it's a little worth it to help Lena's anxiety. Thank you! Lena would have such a time keeping up after were babies.. they'd be like Super babies, but possibly harder to manage and Kara would just be proud and protective over them all. 😂
2021-07-10 17:20:45 +0000 UTCPhew where to start?! First of all, fuck Lex luthor with something barbed and poisoned. The sooner kara strangles the life out of that toad, the better. Second, I had so much anxiety about Kara’s quick changes. I’m like you can’t be transforming like that in the city, homie! Third the fucking was filthy and exquisite. The balcony scene was 👩🍳 😘 I for one hope lenas not taking her birth control cuz fluffy were babies would be cute as fuck.
2021-07-08 09:47:12 +0000 UTCThis is an underrated comment. I nearly punctured my gut laughing
2021-07-08 09:43:46 +0000 UTCThank you!!! 😁Honestly wish I'd written the rest and posted it sooner, but there's always so many stories I want to write at any given time... 😓 Amen to that, I think we're all very much pro Lena and Kara getting some. 😂
2021-07-06 11:14:46 +0000 UTCSam's totally just doing her duty as a good BFF 😊Very pro Lena having a great time with a very ripped Kara and all of that. They would for sure make some cute werewolf pups! There's so many scenarios that are possible with Wolf!Kara and it was super fun writing the chapter and just in general thinking about other things that could happen for future ones. You're right about that - Lena is ready for a counterattack. Thank you!!! 😁
2021-07-06 11:10:23 +0000 UTCThere's a reason the man was able to access Lena's apartment - I don't know if I should tell you or save it for a part 3. 🤐Thank you! Figured Kara would be extra protective after the break in. Can imagine lots of future antics for Eve doting on 'Krypto' 😊 Thank you so much!
2021-07-06 10:52:51 +0000 UTC😊💙❤️ I hope you enjoyed it!
2021-07-06 10:45:21 +0000 UTCYou never disappoint! Love the sequel to an already great story that I love!! Rocket is right we are all Sam, truly. I’m just proud of Lena for snagging a beefcake on her solo retreat lol
2021-07-06 05:40:11 +0000 UTCWe are ALL Sam in this one I think 😂😂 especially at the thought of all that hot hot mating. They’d make such cute little werewolf pups oh man. Loved Wolf!Kara in the office and the park although poor thing getting over stimulated with all the city noise. Whoever’s gunning for Lena better watch themselves though - Kara brings out the best in Lena and that’s a scary thing for her enemies. Loved this so much!

2021-07-06 04:42:42 +0000 UTCHope full on dropped the ball, like what happened? Loved how territorial Kara other all the entitled people in Lena’s life. And Eve with the squeaky toys! Ha! Loved it too.
