Hurdy Gurdy Q&A Question Collection

Now that I'm finally mostly recovered, I'm ready for questions on the hurdy gurdy! I know it's quite late, but if you have a question about the instrument that you've been burning to ask, ask it here and it'll be answered in a video on The Other Channel, which will also be linked here.

Late to the party here. But are there are classic works of music that you'd like to learn to play on the Hurdy Gurdy? Be they folk, jazz, rock, or blues.

I was searching for other Hurdy Gurdy videos after watching yours (I wanted to see more videos of what it sounds like), and there are some very interesting directions of modern styles that creatively utilize the aspects of the instrument. Have you seen this music before, and what are your thoughts on it?

What are some of your favorite names for the Hurdy Gurdy?

Are there any famous hurdy gurdys that were used by notable musicians from history or any famous hurdy gurdy musicians at all?

What's the most interesting part of the instrument to you? Whether that be aspects of the acoustics, the parts, or anything else.

How do you deal with all the women that desire you after learning the gurdy? I'm new to the instrument and terrified of female attention.

How was the learning curve for you, in learning to play the Hurdy Gurdy?

Do you have anyone you jam with? If so, are they more hurdy gurdy players, or do you actually play in a band, whether for fun or for an audience?

Hey how many Gurdies do you have and how did you get your first one?
