Mixing Technique: Mid/Side Saturation
Added 2023-09-09 14:47:24 +0000 UTCHere's a little video that I made for my online mentees. A lot of times we'll face an issue where our mono capability isn't the greatest. My buddy KEETZ taught me this trick a while back to split the mids and sides in an ableton rack and then mid side eq boost and cut certain frequencies INTO saturation to get a little extra grit out of what you are looking for.
I recommend MSED as it's a free plugin but I demonstrated with an ableton utility just in case!
