Ballpit
Added 2021-03-13 23:01:51 +0000 UTCOOF, worked my actual BUTT off these past few days, spent virtually every single one working on this from morning until the evening, and here it is now, the finished result of our special Keyword-Scramble, initiated by the lovely Joshua!
Actually a little earlier than anticipated, but only because I put in some extra shifts on day 1 and 2, so now I'm extra excited to show it off <3
We had a bunch of fun words to work with, but the one that immediately stood out to me in the beginning was the “ballpit” idea, which seemed like a wonderful foundation for the rest of the scene, so I went with it, and carefully garnished it all with a handful of other words that seemed like a perfect fit!
Since so many people requested “anthroparent” and similar words, I wanted to focus primarily on putting many such characters into the pic, which was also the main reason for why I had to put a fair amount of extra effort into this one.
Anatomy always requires sketching in my case, and getting the poses right for so many bodies and mending them with the overall theme was definitely time-consuming, but also super worth it in the end!
They really bring life to the setting and give a decent impression of scale and depth I think ^^
Well then, I'll be resting my wrist now so I can dive right into the next project soon x3
