Heyo folks, here's the newest piece! :D
Still in the mood for winter-y cozy scenes, and since I'm such a sucker for a “bedtime”-theme in general, here we have it again! Starring good old Doberdad this time, since he's such a lovely guy xP
One of the comments from not long ago reminded me of a concept I had in mind before, and so here I wanted to expand on it by going from a noseboop to a smooch. HOWEVER, as I was sketching I thought to myself “Wait, anthros don't have lips”, so I thought it'd be cute and plausible for the equivalent to be a quick little mlem on the cheek instead! x3
I do like colorful clothes on big babies a lot, but sometimes a more subtle white or beige, or perhaps even grey, as the primary color adds that extra little bit of babiness to the outfit I think, so I kept things as simple as possible.
Added some giraffe-goodness though, because why not ^^
SUPER proud of the background, I think it all just worked out extremely well, the shapes, the colors, the style, it all just mended together wonderfully in my opinion, and the toy-clock on the wall turned out more believable than I had initially imagined.
And, naturally, I focused a lot on stylized lighting and a exaggerated warm/cold contrast as always, because I am what I am xP
Sigh. Drawing scenes like these really makes me want to be put to bed by a big anthrodad. I wouldn't even care about the early bedtime, I'd gladly sleep for 10+ hours in that environment xD
