Pink Spring

I'm usually not a fan of vastly pink scenes that aggressively shout “GIRLY” in your face, however, in this case I thought it'd be cute to depict a proud dark Labradad who REALLY wants to take care of a little girl, and is currently dressing his human for a day outside, in a lavishly decorated nursery that'd bring tears of joy to any actual kid.
I've been enjoying sketching some cute girl-outfits lately, and went for something with a slight “easter time” look to it for Ben's attire, which I think turned out rather nicely.
I guess Labradad either misread a fundamental part of Benny's biography when adopting him, or he simply didn't care too much about whether he's actually male or not, and at this point, I think he's having way too much fun to care about the his, uh, her complaints either way. Oh well!
Also, I wanted the slight view outside to not contrast, but rather blend in with the primary scene this time, so I just threw some pink blossoms in, some green, and a simple baby blue sky, representing the coming of spring, and complimenting the rest of the image. ^^

Next up will either be the monthly FCFS-contest, which I have a feeling some of you folks are already eagerly looking forward to, or perhaps one more idea of my own beforehand.
It'll come down to whether or not I'll have the coming week to myself, or whether there'll be some more work to do first. I'll keep you posted!
