Changes

Hey guys! I wanted to sync up with all of you and give you a little insight into this side of things currently.

I'm behind. Not behind in releasing videos. I'm still doing my best to pump out at least 2 a week, but of what I want to do.

I feel on one hand it's a good thing to always want to do more. I have so many other ideas, so much more I want to say. I have entire series of videos conceptualized, planned, and continually delayed FOR MONTHS in my Trello (a cloud based task planner). On the other hand though I feel like even with 2 videos a week it's just not quite enough. It's just not quite enough for Google's algorithm which seems to have a solid 2 day window until it expects a new video and it's just not quite enough to keep up with game deliveries.

Titans launches on the 5th and I have a review copy that I have had set up on my table for the past 3 days. I've yet to play it nonetheless the multiple times needed to review it much less actually record a review of it. I never did review Mythic Battles Pantheon and at this point I feel it's probably too late. I also never reviewed Vanguard of War Zombies and I've yet to even read the Arena rulebook.

And the killing blow? Today, Monday is my first day back in work and I fully intend to really throw myself into it. I've already informed my family and I'm informing you as well and asking for a little forgiveness ahead of time when you don't see my on Discord quite as much, or BGG, or FB or the many other places I try to be at. I plan on keeping up the videos and such as best I can but at least at first I really want to impress and beat any kind of expectations they have for me.

I'll continue to post these deep dives into what's going on behind the scenes. Through Patreon and Discord you guys have a great place to plug in and see what's going on and to pick my brain and I highly encourage you to do so.

Speaking of which, here's some plans:
I have purposefully not mailed out the painted miniatures of Oathsworn yet. I'm just a few dollars short of my Making Of video milestone and I wanted to include shipping out stuff as part of it. I really want it to be an end-to-end video of the process from planning to shipping and wanted to include those in that.

I don't plan on covering any of the KS launches on the 5th but do plan on trying to get my Titans Preview Review on Friday for you all to enjoy :)

After that comes an Arena: The Contest Review (hopefully) and then perhaps a Dawn of Madness Preview Review? :D

I hope you guys know I love doing this. Seriously it's a dream come true for me to interact with my hobbies at this level. I might complain about video editing (what I wouldn't give for an editor!) but I actually love creating these videos. I love chatting with all of you. I love the little tiny impacts I can make in people's hobby time and I'm so thankful for the platform you guys provide.

Later this month I'll let you guys in on my end-of-year video series and will have some votes for you guys to participate in that will make it into at least one of the videos. Really excited about that! :D
