The plan for 2019

Happy New Year everyone! I sincerely hope 2018 was a pleasant year for you and that regardless of if it was or not, that 2019 is even better!

Last year proved to me that hard work, dedication and passion show and people notice. It's the only way I can fathom your amazing support of the channel and it's growth. I can guarantee I put more hours into this channel than any other single person miniature channel that isn't full time. I'd like to think that the 138 videos I published last year and the length and production quality of those videos speak for themselves at that volume.

Enough about 2018 though, let's discuss the future! First up, I'll actually be starting my children's painting series this year! My daughter has already painted her first mini for it already! She has been so excited to paint her own minis - I think you guys are going to love this series. It'll be her and I together talking over the video and then discussing it afterward :)

Additionally I hope to continue doing the talking pieces I've begun this year. I really enjoy doing them and I think it helps me connect with all of you on a more personal level. Additionally, it allows me to share my passion more directly and about more than just what I'm painting.

As with the children's painting series, painting videos will continue to be a major part of the channel with the two major releases for coverage being HATE and Batman: Gotham City Chronicles :)

Of course I'll also be doing my Kickstarter videos. I'm still working out how I feel about covering more of those, as I dislike having too many videos. Perhaps I'll combine games into a single weekly video (when applicable).

Lastly, the only other new item to touch on would be my plan for "Hot Take" reviews. By the time I play a game enough to do a full review no one would care, so I've decided to try and do an essential "initial impressions" review. Still unsure exactly about the format but I think it'll be mostly informal.

To end this I'll quickly talk about content upcoming very soon. I've spent today editing the River Dragon video. Expect a slightly updated look that I hope you will all enjoy :)

Additionally I planned out my next painting for after that one.
