Let's talk about the Warhammer video
Added 2018-05-24 20:02:34 +0000 UTCHey guys! I'd love to hear your thoughts on my Warhammer video. I value your input very much and because this is a bit different than the content I've produced up to this point I would welcome feedback and questions.
A few I can answer up front:
"Does this sort of video take up a slot for miniature painting?"
No it doesn't. This video only took a few hours total, including research, recording, editing, uploading and thumbnail creation. Opinion videos, along with Kickstarter Videos, do not take up a terrible amount of time.
"Does this mean you want to cover tabletop as well?"
Yeah sure, why not? Looking at the Fallout tabletop game recently as my wife and I are both huge fans of the IP.
"Why'd you make this video?"
I'm a pretty opinionated guy and I care about this industry and it's future. I'd love to begin voicing my opinions more with this platform, both about positive and negative aspects. If I can use this platform to make a single board game publisher actually put realistic miniature storage options in the retail box I'll consider this a good endeavor :)

"Who cares about anything else, where's your next miniature painting video?!"
Not done yet :) I'll share some WIP here soon. I'll let you know what it is though: The Bonsai Daimyo from Rising Sun :) Please remember that these take me multiple days to paint and then at least a full day to edit. I look forward to you guys seeing it as soon as possible! To help with the hype, I will be painting a dragon soon as well ;)

2018-05-24 22:35:44 +0000 UTCThanks Manuel! We don't know much about the content except what we've seen from the art style and know about the age range. I assume there will be no gore at all. It's easy to paint this much! Simply drop all of your other hobbies! :P

2018-05-24 22:29:58 +0000 UTCI have never played/read Warhammer either but as a parent of young kids, I am not sure that I would be comfortable with them reading something with a ton of gore when they are 8. I didn't get from the video if the content is as dark as the real thing or more relaxed. On the miniatures front, sure! No complaints with more cartoony characters from the WH universe. And finally, on the channel front, I think commentary/opinion is a great addition to the channel (especially if it doesn't cause a reduction in frequency for the painting videos). BTW, the painting video frequency is quite admirable. Kudos! =)
