Frustrating WIP but can finally see the light
Added 2018-03-09 23:30:49 +0000 UTCSo, spent literally 2 hours on just his skin. It's an odd blue/green and every single painting I've seen has strictly done blue. I painted him up, doing great highlights and then noticed he was too blue. I tried to correct with self made wash, failed, tried again, failed, tried watered down Nuln Oil, failed and then tried again to a point where I accept it as he is (needs highlights again). Will create some "fun" video editing during the start of this video :P I'm sure he will end up fine, but wanted to share that it's not always a perfect journey :)

Yep, that's a fantastic base coat and I wish I had noticed that before trying him as I had a much harder time about it. Just posted a current pic of him with what I used to get that effect.
