Wow yeah I bet that was something! The closest to that I've been is my best friend graduated the police academy and there was a similar feel in the room and everything from the speeches to how people handled themselves was very formal and respectful. I imagine it was like that but taken to 11. I lived in Joilet (right outside of Chicago) for a short while in November. They say Chicago was founded by New Yorkers that liked the big city but felt it was too warm :D

And thank you for the recognition. I went to his Navy boot camp graduation (Chicago in mid-March is NOT a bucket list destination). It was an amazing and emotional event nontheless. The sense of pride in the building from family members of the 700+ graduates was palpable.

ZBP and MD are all mine :-D. My kids like playing the games and they like that I paint them. Hopefully they'll be interested in painting some of their own. Good things is they'll likely be stored at my house so I can dive into them if I want.

I thank your son for his service! My parents met in the army (Korea), and while family life picked up too quick for me to do much about it I have huge respect for those that serve. As for the gifts, those are amazing! Do you buy any games for yourself ever? :D

I"m not sure when SMOG will arrive. I bought it as a birthday gift for my eldest son who enlisted in the Navy last year. Green Horde is scheduled to arrive at my house tomorrow and it was purchased for my youngest son's 18th birthday.

Hi and welcome! Have you received SMOG yet? Mine is in the mail so that'll pop up on the channel soon! At least if you are still interest (price is still, as always, an issue) Rising Sun at least will have a physical presence. In fact, there wasn't much except for monsters that were KS exclusive! Also I agree, the design of these are simply fascinating and quite unique to see a "high fantasy" version of feudal Japan.

I didn't do the Rising Sun pledge on KS. I figured I'd already shelled out $500+ on ZBP, ZGH, MD, and SMOG that investing in yet another bulky stand alone game was just overkill. I really loved the figures though and am fascinated by Asian folklore and mythology. It was a difficult decision to pass up.
