thank you to ciyu for suggesting a monster of the month based on biblical angels! drawing them was so much fun — i’ll be sharing the behind-the-scenes commentary soon, explaining what the various parts of the design are based on.
this is one of my most intricate pieces lately and i’m including an unprecedented number of close-ups, as well as three different versions. the first is vertical and cropped relatively tight, to put focus on the characters and show more detail. the second is a horizontal version, where you can see more of the background but at the expense of zooming out from the characters a bit. the third is the original "full" image, which (in my opinion) is too zoomed out for a nsfw piece and the composition is somewhat unbalanced, hence why i cropped it — but i’m including it here so i can get the satisfaction of showing off every centimeter of my hard work lol. which version do you prefer, the vertical (#1) or horizontal (#2)?
